August 11-12, 2017 - Martin, Michigan: Top fuel at night featuring the teams of past and World Champions Larry Dixon and Bruce Litton, as well as Kyle Wurtzel , Pat Dakin, Todd Paton, and Dom Lagana in the nitro Ninja dragster. It was Dom Lagana who stole the show at the end of the night with his pedal-job giving the raucous and appreciative crowd a 321 MPH blast! Fire breathing 4-second monster run. Fuchs Nationals. 10,000 hp blender .

Man I missed this race by 4 days. I was at Gun Lake fishing and had to leave for home 4 days before this race. BUMMER! I’m checking the schedule next year and going. I love this stuff. People are really cool. Great fun day

Great, great video, Dawn! I saw you guys on the roof! Very cool camera angles. Well done! One correction, the Lagana family Top Fuel dragster was driven by Dom Lagana, not Bobby. Dom holds the track record at 330 mph. Thanks again for visiting my home track!

Thank you, John. My husband was up on the roof with one of the track's social media team members. I shot mostly top end. I didn't realize I had automatically put Bobby's name in until after the upload. Doh!
Great video, love martin made a few passes there myself on my little 600. Is IHRA running 1.000 ft" now too? thanks for posting. In nitro classes i mean.
This was my first trip back to Martin since the early 80's. Loved what they have done there. They are still running full 1/4 mile racing. I think a few of the guys in the first session forgot that and lifted at 1,000'. Thanks much!
I'd like to stick with camera 1 a little longer.
Just a small correction, it was Dom Lagana driving the car. His brother Bobby tunes it. Also, what camera was mounted on Ron Hope? That view was unbelievable.
Thank you for the correction....didn't catch it until after the upload. Ron was wearing a pair of camera sunglasses; Brian was wearing a pair as well. Really impressed with the video and audio from them.
Was there chute failures on the last 2 runs or was that a trick of the camera?
No, those guys were just a tad late on the chutes. ;-)

This is an IHRA sanctioned drag strip, and so they still run the full 1,320'.
They shut them off at 1000 😔
Yeah....unfortunately, I think some of these guys are too conditioned with 1,000' tune-ups.
Drag Strip Riot its understandable. Save parts and money. Those numbers still put on a good show
