Thank you soooo much for this!! Getting back into working with children after years of adults-only hospital work. Really appreciate the time you took to go through this!!
THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! For some reason, I've worked with kids as an SLP for almost 3 years but have never had to administer this as most of my pre-k students are assessed by an assessment team before they start pre-k. (And i'm unfortunately a victim of covid online grad school haha) I really appreciate this video!!
As an SLP who hasn't administered this in years and never liked the way it is set up, this was extremely helpful!! You presented information in such a great way for visual learning. Thank you!!
Thank you so much! I am a CF and I’ve been working with Adults (SNF) . I haven’t been with peds since before grad school as a slpa. This helps. I start a pt clinic position this week ❤
Thank you for this video! as a SLP student currently on a hospital placement this was extremely helpful and super clear! If you have the time I'd love to see how to administer and score the RITLS and any other standardised tests for infants? And any useful information about cleft lip/palate and how it affects speech and language development? :)
Please, can you explain me how to find the Total language Score? After finding the Standard score total and AC R Score+ EC R score, what to do? You mentioned a table to find the average... which one?
After you find the standard score for the AC and EC respectively, add them together. Then go to the “total language” score table to convert this total to a total language standard score. Hope this helps!

Thank you! I'm in my second semester of grad school. Reading the manual just doesn't click for me.
You’re welcome! I’m glad I could add this extra tool to your belt 😁
Thanks for your video! But I' d like to know if to find the ceiling we need 6 consecutives errors or not. Thanks again!
Hello! Yes, you do ☺️ for extra confidence, be sure to check through the manual for basal and ceiling rules 😁
THANK YOU
You are so welcome ☺️ thanks for watching!
Do you need to administer the developmental tasks or is #52 the last question for auditory comprehension? TIA!
It depends on what you’re looking for. You can give the whole assessment or you can just do portions 😁
I get confused with a double basal score. I don't which basal to accept. It's confusing.
Thank you 😭
😭 you are so welcome!
