Hi, this is me from the future, editing this comment from 2 years ago, (2018). I AM alive, and I am well. 2018 was one of the darkest years of my life, and I've not had many light ones. I was 18, just dropped out of uni. I was severely depressed, falling into drugs and alcoholism, smoking, going to parties and speeding and not caring if I lived to see the next day. I was a closetted trans man, i hated everything about my physical being, and my parents (who i lived with) werent supportive or helpful.
im 20 now, 1 year from finishing my uni degree. I have a job i enjoy, I live with a fantastic friend, I have a whole support system who love me, and I love them. I still battle my depression every day, but it is a fight I am WINNING. ive been clean from self harm for almost 2 months, i dont drink as often, and I have finally received medical means of transitioning.
Im going to leave my original comment up, because its an important snapshot of who i was and what i was feeling- but please know, I am okay. I said yes.

dont know why i keep saying yes to life. All i want is to die - nothing makes me feel real joy anymore. Your music has kept me going for a while, but im really reaching the end of my rope. I wanted to die while at your concert on the 29th of october - one of the best weekends and days of my life and i still wanted to end it. I nearly cut my wrists with my empty can. I dont know how to keep loving and living and surviving, because no matter what i always come back to this absolute pain and suffering.
