This band has made me feel more connected, more whole, more in tune with myself and life than anything or anyone else has. Music that speak to the mind, body and soul with deep emotion and lingering messages and new discoveries every time you listen to it.
I've never heard a band that encapsulates "I know things are tough, but it's gonna be okay." better. Thanks so much guys. A lot of us need this. Maybe as much as you needed to create it.
I think that's exactly what sets them apart from any other music out there these days. They hit that emotion in such a genuine way. It's brutally honest music. Every song is filled with grief and despair but there's also great hope and joy. The warmth in Dave's voice is so comforting. Absolutely amazing stuff

I have had the worse April in my life, I’m pretty Middle Aged too. Lost my wife who iv been with since 17, my two kids devastated etc. I thought I was gonna die, honestly. Never known “heartbreak” and pain like I had recently. Not just saying this but, this band have helped get me through, hour by hour, day by day. Thanks gentlemen. Keep making your magic, it’s appreciated. Much love, peace and respect.

I love all of your music but the songs like those from Total Serene and of course this one are just so magical and eclectic; I truly cannot get enough! Being really old, I'm way out of any 'regular' audience, and so just discovered GOY recently. And good grief, never have I been more moved. The songwriting, the voice, the emotion, the depth. It's been a wonderful journey discovering that there is more of this music. And the songs only get better! They burrow into my soul, and curl up there like joy. Thanks, Dave. We are unfathomably lucky you are here. You're beautiful.

It's so clear that there's such a grounding sense of self in the music now. Past releases have sounded like you've been trying to find something, and these releases this year feel like you've found it. All of the music is beautiful, and each track means a lot to me, but these ones feel like joy.

I have cried so many times listening to this song. It’s a mix of the indigenous sound(hi gang I’m golden hill Paugussett!) or the lyrics of mom (I love mom too!)

Le'aupepe: powerful vocalist! Love this band’s sound and the raw feelings they evoke. Lyric references in first verse of this song bring to mind of all things Paul Simon’s You Can Call Me Al- angels, architecture. Fitting, as both artist’s music can be deeply spiritual.
Your music has a way of taking broken souls and putting them together
This reminds me of running on the beach with a person you truly love and feel connected to. This is what we all need.
