Have a good question, people buy the Rockford 360 dsp and other dsps all the time to accomplish great sound quality. Then they buy a ten thousand watt sub amp. To get a flat frequency response then would turn down the bass drastically. So what's the point of these huge systems needing a dsp. Besides all the other functions. Just having a dsp for microphone rta adjusting equalization and huge bass. Missing a lot of potential, right?
I think I’ve figured it out (playing a DVD from the Kenwood unit to the backseat). Using an iPad as a monitor with an HDMI I believe that I would connect the iSimple cable to the Video and Audio RCA’s out. Connect an HDMI adaptor to the iPad and an HDMI cable between the two. Does that sound correct?
i have the dnx893s in a yukon denali xl 2013, having issues with the wireless headphones.....ive already replaced the IR transmitter hoping that was the issue but it wasnt. Right now itll work only if i turn the car off and on a few times..... bad unit? what are your thoughts?
Tyler Letellier did you ever find a solution to your problem? I'm also running a dnx893s in my 2011 Denali and I'm having the same problem. I also can't get the rear factory headphone jacks to play in dualzone. The headphone jacks play whatever is on the speakers.

Hi , need your help please , I bought recently Kenwood dmx 9720xds I did installed it by my self with after market loom And plug n play connections into my Ute Toyota Hilux 2016, it’s working great, only the hdmi says no signal,the hdmi cable is ok and been tested on my tv through my iPhone adapter lightning to hdmi, done the setting on the unit to hdmi but still no view from the iPhone ,

Anytime i use rca to my rear monitor, the image is not as clear as hdmi. Does this fix that issue?

hey i have a very odd question im a beginner at this amp stuff now i have an issue when i plug in my amp cables i get a buzzing noise now if i unplug one set of rca cables the buzzing goes away and i can use either cable as long as i dont use both sets at the same time kenwood 4 channel amp and kenwood head unit only useing 2 sets of rca cables

I just bought the Kenwood 9903s and as I tried to watch videos through hdmi cable nothing is coming out. I have a Samsung note 4, I connected hdmi cable in the back with a micro USB to mdmi cable downloaded the Kenwood smartphone app and still nothing any suggestions. thanks

So I have everything hooked up and apparently correctly. The first handful of times I connected to use my iPad mini 4 this way it worked. Then it stopped. Now it will work sometime but mostly it attempts to connect to my iPad then stops, won’t work. It is also doing this with my iPhone 8 as well.
Any suggestions. I have taken my stereo out and reconnected everything again, multiple times. So as I said, it seems the connection is good. But something doesn’t allow the devices to connect all the time or often at all.
It sounds like the Apple cable has gone bad. We have had that happen before. Try it in your house and see it it does the same thing
Why doesn't the manufactures just add hdmi output plug? Jeez home receivers have had that function for years. Also why haven't car stereo manufactures made the headunits play Blu-Ray disc?

Nice video. I have a question though, so I have ddx9903s in dash but my headrest tv screens are not HDMI compatible and not HD but can I still watch whatever is being played in the front also in the rear just by the video out cable or maybe with the Kenwood AV adapter?
I'm also hoping to mirror from the Hdmi cable to my phone and also have it come up in the rear headrests.
StrayCO 303720 the HDMI video will not pass out of the radio to the rear screen.
What type of hand held screen are you using? To see the video playing?
