I think m2c has some hardened shock shafts for the outcast.
It would be cool if you can do a two-wheel drive x-maxx 8s with paddle tires on the rear in a center Def from 6s xMaxx
What I do is add a 1/4 inch peice of fuel line to the bottom of the shock. It allows for some give but it keeps from busting the cups
I break those axle pins all the time on my kraton 8s. I'm gonna try the fuel line trick. Makes sense.
Outcast 8s is a Beast... Love them Lockups on there as well. Always good to walk away from a bash with no repairs😎👍👍

Very cool brother! I blew up juicy fruits transmission yesterday after 3 min lol shes just an absurd torque beast on 8s already have a 3 piece billet trans case ready i knew it ea2s inevitable 😂 at least its on film i just put it up late last night. Awesome video!👍

I’ve always said “ I love my Xmaxx and Erevo, but would love to have a fully m2c upgraded Kraton 6s and 8s”, but I think I’ll pass. My takeaway. And I’m not an Arrma hater. You buy the car, then spend half or double the cost of the car on super high quality aftermarket parts to keep it from breaking and it still breaks constantly. There’s no question that the quality of components on these trucks are very high, but In practice, it adds up to too much weight, too ridged/not enough flex to prevent breakage. Traxxas cars break too obviously, but there isn’t a long list of “must do mods” to make them fun/durable. And when things do break a Xmaxx or Erevo, they aren’t usually the big critical items, and parts are much cheaper for the most part.
Flat landings is going to kill the truck for sure.
You did the rear diff on the 12s when it broke but you never opened it up until now
