Never met John but he builds a nice truck! Might need to use larger magnetic. Perhaps larger rectangle magnets. I know the factory made round post magnets look awesome. Nedds more surface area. I love the bed on it. I think his truck excels. Tell him if he is not happy with it then i will take it.😂 Great video on the build!
I never had success with magnetic connections. Great for a shelf queen but nothing more. I have lots of magnets, all of them were said to be as strong as the next, but have all failed, when crawling, bashing and speed runs. I like the truck, a bit over built, but it's 85% of that Fusion that makes the performance almost perfect. Lead weights could have done the same balanced in the front end in the lower sections.
I have a stock Axial Base camp. Running the Capra wheels and tires I was wondering which one of the cheat codes would work. Also can you turn brass inserts for the bead locks?
Did my comment about the servo mount get deleted? I did the RC TNT cantilever conversion that has a bed on it that won’t come off too if you want to check it out
This video proves that a well setup truck and practiced driver are more important than bickering over who has what truck
The RC-TNT rear suspension modifications make it even better.
That's the winning ticket on the ascent, 4 link & soa. Like what he did with the motor mount. Mine will get an outrunner eventually.
