Which makes Venom to be one of the few comic characters to have a lasting redemption arc that matters that can rival Vegeta of DB.

Pretty funny considering Todd McFarlane (The person who illustrated and drew Venom for the first few issues of hos appearance) stated he'd rather draw Spidey in his red and blue suit since the black suit didn't feel right. Todd liked drawing the black suit more for venom because it fit him more.

Yo, this is crazy! I absolutely loved the ending. Once a man wronged by life, now a benign king of symbiote life. Plus, my jaw dropped when Eddie formed the axe that I so lovingly call the Light Cleaver.
After looking at the thumbnail I remembered a scene from a popular Anime, The MC is killed and reincarnated as a slime... Venom is a slime organism, the MC in the anime becomes stronger after eating different things and creatures, all his abilities seem to have unlimited potential
I *HATED* how the story ended. I mean, you have Knull, a relatively new Being in the Marvel universe (or even multiverse) that shifted the way we thought we knew about the symbiotes. He was a being possibly older than Galactus himself. A Being shown to be a bigger threat than Thanos himself. He was able to even one shot celestials. For crying out loud, he ripped Sentry in half. So with that, i thought they have pull out *all* the Big guns. Y‘know, something like reviving Galactus or convincing Thanos to fight Knull because they themselves are not strong enough. Maybe even go as so far to get help from one of the big Leaguers like Zeus, Odin, Mephisto or maybe even the living Tribunal of which i think still is Adam Warlock. Hell, maybe even a combination of an already existing power like the Starbrand and make it so that someone with enough willpower (like how Matt Murdock did it) can use it the most efficiently. Really a battle that forces the Heroes to be the smarter one against the overly stronger opponent. But nope, Venom gets the McGuffin Plot Power to destroy Knull and that was it...

Growing up as a 90’s kid venom was always cool but just considered a spider man villain . My son who’s 7 I took to see the venom movie and instantly loved venom and became a huge fan venom this and venom that . We even saw Spider-Man and he only cared if venom was mentioned . He’s going to grow up seeing venom in a different lens than I did as a kid. That’s soo awesome

Pick your poison, I guess. Mine is this one. Metal/Death Metal centers around Batman, a character who is undeniably oversaturating the market, love him or hate him. It also requires you to have intermediate knowledge of DC history and awareness of the contemporary comic landscape in order to get the most out of it. King in Black isn't perfect. I reckon continuity buffs and other certain types of people won't be a fan of Donny Cates' retconning habits (All Black, Capt. Universe, etc.). Making Venom a "cosmic level hero" can also be considered a stretch. But hey, your mileage may vary.

Epic ending. This Cates Venom run has been my favourite comic book. It’s been on my pull from issue 1 and this king in black event has been so good.

Yo, this is crazy! I absolutely loved the ending. Once a man wronged by life, now a benign king of symbiote life.
Plus, my jaw dropped when Eddie formed the axe that I so lovingly call the Light Cleaver.

After looking at the thumbnail I remembered a scene from a popular Anime, The MC is killed and reincarnated as a slime... Venom is a slime organism, the MC in the anime becomes stronger after eating different things and creatures, all his abilities seem to have unlimited potential
I want an animated show about this series so bad

I *HATED* how the story ended. I mean, you have Knull, a relatively new Being in the Marvel universe (or even multiverse) that shifted the way we thought we knew about the symbiotes. He was a being possibly older than Galactus himself. A Being shown to be a bigger threat than Thanos himself. He was able to even one shot celestials. For crying out loud, he ripped Sentry in half.
So with that, i thought they have pull out *all* the Big guns. Y‘know, something like reviving Galactus or convincing Thanos to fight Knull because they themselves are not strong enough. Maybe even go as so far to get help from one of the big Leaguers like Zeus, Odin, Mephisto or maybe even the living Tribunal of which i think still is Adam Warlock. Hell, maybe even a combination of an already existing power like the Starbrand and make it so that someone with enough willpower (like how Matt Murdock did it) can use it the most efficiently. Really a battle that forces the Heroes to be the smarter one against the overly stronger opponent.
But nope, Venom gets the McGuffin Plot Power to destroy Knull and that was it...
Couldn’t agree more. As soon as I heard it was Captain Universe that was it, I was done with it. And he just destroys Knull like he’s a scared weak little bitch. So lame.
To be fair, it was pretty obviously foreshadowed that it was going to be either Eddie or his son with the powers of Captain Universe.
This is from someone that also doesn't like the ending, but it was pretty clear.

Growing up as a 90’s kid venom was always cool but just considered a spider man villain . My son who’s 7 I took to see the venom movie and instantly loved venom and became a huge fan venom this and venom that . We even saw Spider-Man and he only cared if venom was mentioned . He’s going to grow up seeing venom in a different lens than I did as a kid. That’s soo awesome
Can’t wait for this saga to be adapted into animation. That would be the most hype thing ever.
Too bad Marvel’s animation department is trash. There are a lot of their storylines I would love to see faithfully adapted with good artwork and animation.

Hopefully they do this in the MCU. It makes sense because Gore the God butcher is in Thor love and thunder and hes only a God butcher because he possesses the Necro Sword. They should do the end credits of Thor 4 as Knull awakening from the planet of the Symbiotes and the end credits of Venom 2 would be Eddie getting his logo on his chest because it's pretty stupid at this point that he doesn't have his logo

Metal/Death Metal centers around Batman, a character who is undeniably oversaturating the market, love him or hate him. It also requires you to have intermediate knowledge of DC history and awareness of the contemporary comic landscape in order to get the most out of it.
King in Black isn't perfect. I reckon continuity buffs and other certain types of people won't be a fan of Donny Cates' retconning habits (All Black, Capt. Universe, etc.). Making Venom a "cosmic level hero" can also be considered a stretch. But hey, your mileage may vary.
@@the11thhour44 I feel the gravity of the situation is to strike big dramatic change within the universe making the symbiotes a key in there event simultaneously adding new essence to carnage and Venom to me is a interesting change that presents great changes needed in today’s comic community but I do enjoy dark knights metal more but that could just be my DC bias in play
This was epic, every character worthy of such features all deserve a comic book where they team up with unlikely people, in terms of characters.
