Yeah but the difference between The Predator and Sabretooth is that one is wants to torture and kill wolverine or someone he loves while the other one actually saw Wolverine/Logan as a Worthy prey and adversary.
I love the predator but it stands no real chance against Wolverine. Wolverines healing factor is far to op. His animal senses will allow him to track the predator even if it's invisible. His claws would cut through the predator like nothing. Wolverine has beaten the hulk. He's not losing to a predator.
The predator does hold a Chance , but only of he's smart, and it depends which predator as well. An elite or ancient are far more dangerous , even to wolverine. The predator can fight from a distance , if he is smart , he can beat him, wolverine can have his head removed and lose. Wolverine can beat pretty much everyone , but being real a distance fighter is far more dangerous to him then a face to face encounter by a being like predator, but predator does have weapons that he can use from a distance that can drop Logan. Predators biggest weakness if his need to fight up close , stripping his major weapons to fight and win to gain honor from his people.

If Wolverine's healing factor can regenerate him quickly from energy blast coming from the Phoenix force, I'm pretty sure it can do the same with acid from xenomorphs.

Nice recap, and fills in some things I missed due to not being in a place where I could access comics most the time for a good chunk of my career. I really appreciated it all, thank you. Wolverine, Spiderman ,the Uncanny X-men and the Hulk were my main marvel favorites for over a decade of collecting. The movies really never scratched that comic itch, though I found many writers who wrote far superior books. I always missed the art of the comics. This series was better than a lot of the fall of X. They need to make this a movie series as well. Cross aliens up with all that too and replace those brood things with them. Crazy. I’ll start writing it now.

Wolverines hunting skills, heightened senses , healing factor and claws would make for a better match up. The predator would be disappointed to find out he didn’t catch the moth man but in fact just a grown man doing cosplay when he rips Bruce’s head off.
I feel for wolverine. You ever see the movie hell in the Pacific with Lee Marvin or enemy mine with Dennis Quaid then you'll realize the sometimes enemies are the closest thing to a true friend. For who else takes the time to know you more than an enemy?

Licensing issues, DC was more for teaming up with Dark Horse and making Predator stories but now Marvel owns Fox they’ll finally do it.
