Now, we had the petrol-powered XUV700 a couple of months ago and were mighty impressed with its mechanical credentials. Living with the XUV700 with the diesel engine was long due. This setup has one of the best power-to-weight ratios and now, as tested, the best fuel economy as well.

Creta diesel the most mileage efficient SUV as of today is giving 19 to 21KMPL with AC on highways . What I am trying to say is that impossible to cross this figure by XUV700 chahe kitna pyar se chalo...BTW why XUV700 owners should be worrying about the KMPL when they know that they are getting an elephant home ...haati ka sawari muft me thodi aati hai...Zyada paani tho peeyega air khana bi khaayega....

This is a XUV700 diesel. And the test for the best fuel economy was done on an open road in a controlled way.
