I really love all the quality improvements that have been done to commander clash recently: facecams, trailers, editors notes, etc. it make the games much more enjoyable to watch and I noticed a huge difference when going back and watching old episodes of commander clash. Keep up the good work
To be honest, this felt like one of the greatest commander videos in a looong time. It reminded me so much of the "battlecruiser" format commander has been in the beginning without too much crazy synergies but with tons of cool cards that don't see play in most decks. Thank you so much for this episode!
On this week of "Punt or Bluff?" it's an all out spending spree. Will Richard meme his way to victory or will Crim finally become Bolas thru cold hard cash!? Tune in To find out!
Will richard finally say clash on? or seth and crim will have to cringe their way into it again? AND HOW COME MISTER KITCHEN KEEP GETTING AWAY WITH IT?
not to say your previous contend lacked quality, but I am loving the steady quality improvements you are bringing to the show. I loved, and still adore the face cams, and the intros are getting cooler and cooler.
This group has 0 feeling or logic for correct threat assassement. Phil with 0 cards in hand and everyone else with 5+. Boardstates were pretty balanced. Let's destroy phil i guess, because he has uro in his command zone.
@@keep7smiling I can see that especially without Tomer. They all seem to be pretty fixed on some random reason to hate out one of the other players who is doing worse. I was really hoping Crim would be able to convince the board to not kill the Chromatic Lantern and have Phil steal the Nicol Bolas. If Phil had gone to flip Bolas it would have entered the battlefield under Crims control.
I think the best way of playing Deck of Many Things(outside of hellbent/madness/dice roll build arounds) is to treat it like Loreseeker Stone - use it after you played your cards or when your hand is already empty so you''l always get something for your mana. I like it for the meme potential, but you have to remember that it can't "crit" on natural 20's if you have cards in hand.
Hey, quick idea, how about building decks, where you can't use, say, the top 50 cards in each color? Maybe change numbers based on color pairs and colorless?
That's an interesting restriction since the best interaction is in uncommon and rare and most ramp is not in mythic. The fastest mana is in mythic but correction is not. Clash on boys
I'll echo what others have said. A really good fun game of commander, the way it's supposed to be played imo. Not too much focus on synergies. But rather just bringing fun magical cards. It really shows, when the game changes direction so many times during play. Very entertaining. ☺️

@seth, The first mytic Cycle was the Shards of Alara 8 mana titans, (Empyrial Archangel, Sphinx Sovereign, Prince of Thralls, Hellkite Overlord , and Godsire )
I too have an invention sol ring horror story. Let’s start in the beginning. The set had just come out (I can’t remember which one had the sol ring. It was either kaladesh or Aetherflux revolt). I had spent more money than I’d care to admit on BFZ and Oath searching for those lottery cards (the reason I still to this day hate guardian of Tazeem). I had just gotten my first job and was living with my parents so my income was disposable. I walk into my LGS and decide I’ll get a couple packs of the new set to see what it’s all about. First pack has trash nothing of note. The second pack however I see this glint of gold. My heart begins to race. I slowly move through the pack till I get to the back and discover that I’ve opened the arguably best invention of them all, Sol Ring. The following moments played out like that scene in Charlie and the chocolate factory as I immediately start getting offers as the patrons see this dumbfounded kid just sitting there holding a single card. Most were cash but I had one guy offer a beta sol ring as trade. I don’t know what to do and I hear the owner pipe up run home Chad and don’t let anyone have that card. Fast forward a few months and I love this card. Whenever I play one of my decks I swap the sol ring in it for my invention so I can possibly get a chance to stare at it on my board. A buddy of mine has had an interest in the card for awhile and wants to trade me. I’ve humored it in the past but never really bit but after looking at his binder I realize I can make basically an entire atraxa superfriends deck out of the value of this one card (it was sitting at about 350 at the time). So we make the trade and to this day I still play with the cards from that trade in my sisay super friends deck. But I would trade all 20 of my commander decks to just have that card back. It was the worst trade of my life and will haunt me for the rest of my magic career. So fast forward about a month and I’m having major buyers remorse and just want my baby back. I go to talk to the guy and find out he traded it to our LGS to be prize support for an upcoming commander tournament. I freak out but I feel I have a good chance to get it back because our turn outs are never anything spectacular and as long as someone in town wins I’ll be able to possibly get it back. I recruit 4 other people to play in the tournament to hopefully give myself better odds of winning my baby back. All of us are stomped out in the first round by some people who drove 4 hours to compete from out of town. There are three people from my hometown in the final game. They are combo killed on turn 4 by wort the raidmother. My depression since that day has been immeasurable and I’ve considered quitting many times because of it. The last I heard of my sol ring it was traded to somebody in Atlanta then I lost the trail. The moral of the story: If you love something hold onto it with all your might and never let go. You never know how long you have left.
