The Rubico Prime improves on the original in almost every single aspect. We get a higher critical chance of thirty eight percent, better reload speed and better fire rate, also a four percent damage increase. Now, that might not sound like a lot but considering the Rubico was already an awesome weapon the buffs make a bit of a difference. Perhaps the most important aspect is that you can get a ninety five percent critical chance just with point strike alone.
I have tested the weapon in various situations since its release but the most important one of all would be Eidolon Hunts since this is currently the primary use for Sniper Rifles. The Rubico Prime performs admirably well and is fully capable of tearing through an Eidolon in matter of seconds (give the appropriate setup) so it gets my seal of approval. It would have been hard for me not to like the weapon considering how much I enjoyed the original.
The Rubico Prime also performs very well in ordinary day to day mission, able to one or two shot high level enemies. The only issue is that it's a sniper so it will be a slow clear in comparison to other more popular AoE weapons.
Just like the Standard version before it, The Rubico Prime is fantastic primary weapon and I highly recommend it. The only downside I see is the high price on riven mods but then again we can't have our cake and eat it to.

you know what this is exactly what I have been looking for because trying to get everything I need to start fighting higher end eidolons this is major help so great vid on this very well explained and like the fact you went into detail on all of the builds you showed. Will def be recommending this to few people.
Thank you. I missed the option to turn off sniper scopes until I watched this video. What a difference. I can see what I'm trying to shoot so much better and use way less ammo. My Lanka is easier to use without sniper scopes too.
When you're not using Chroma, Heavy Caliber is much better than hammer shot or Argon Scope for Eidolons. When you're scoped in the loss of accuracy isn't noticeable, and its pretty solid consistent damage.
When those joints snap is the favorite part of my day, then they ask who is shooting, and I'm just there with my selfish chroma. Epic
That riven is stupidly strong i managed to get a cc and electric riven makes my rubico prime 2-3 shot the limbs through Volt shield, no Chroma though. So people shouldn't be disheartened if you can't get a riven similar to the one shown anything with CC will be enough to make it godly. All in all a brilliant video showing people the power of the rubico good job

For me, I use Critical Delay instead of Point Strike. Makes my crit chance 109.1%

hey leyzar what's up. thanks again man for this video. i spent most of my available playing hours on trying to get my rubico prime to 4 formas. even spending some plat on affinity booster to make leveling faster. and even sold my extra detron riven and lato riven to afford the max prime cryo rounds. i tried the rubico prime last night with chroma and i really enjoyed it and found it more comfortable using than my 5forma Lanka that even has a riven. i prefer the quick firing rubico. thanks again man for your wonderful builds

Leyzar as u said these rivens belong to your friends if you're in the market to buy a Rubi riven buy a cc, multi, heat/elec, negative riven you'll love it. Also after u take out a limb shoot the eidolon repeatedly to build up shot multi, it helps u 1 tap on Garry and Harry.

I was going to put away the vectis prime...but then today's sortie I got a Vectis riven. Only had enough Kuva to roll a few times. Last roll, cc + toxin + punch through, best I could get but I finally have a 100%+ crit chance now

Ok i have to give you commitments to this tested it out without chroma and i did it with octavia so no damage buffs and did eidolon build bit i put serration cause i dont have chroma and it nuked level 105 for me in like 1 shot for head and 2 for body it is op so thank you for the build definitely subscribing

I traded a vulkar riven for a rubico riven before the prime was announced. One perfect roll later, and I'm probably much happier than he is. (My roll is CC, CD, and dmg. The numbers are not bad without the negative)

From what I've seen the rubico seems to be coming out ahead of the lanka vs eidolons. The ability to shoot off 5 shots in quick succession faster then the lanka can charge and fire 1 or 2 dominates it.

The time I've used the Rubico Prime, I tend to use Banshee with the Sniper Amp and it does great damage (note I have only 1 forma currently and no Rivens). I've been able to 2-5 shot those Tusk Bolkors and the Filbrogs.
I got a riven with cc+multi negative impact for this thing and it's pretty good. I didn't know u streamed though

Hey leyzar, im using Arcane Rage for my eidolon hunt, If I shoot on his head I get the arcane rage 120% dmg effect even tho his shields are up. So you can shoot on his head to get the Benefit and prepare for his joint. I hope you see this, great Video as always

I sacrificed one mod slot for Hush and replaced Dread for my stealth builds. This gun still go on rampage in sorties.

I just noticed, when you add your Split Chamber mod, it shows the jump in your damage where when I add mine, id reflects no change in damage, only in the multishot value. geehhhh

I've been playing for about a year and until today I had no idea that elemental damage procced all the time while the status effect was tied to the status chance. I thought the damage was tied to the status chance as well, needless to say I feel dumb lol

My first riven was for the rubico, no idea what it was. Now I see people looking in trade chat for 1000s of plat.
It's the newest prime weapon. While it is good the prices will be going down soon enough. If you get a good roll you can get a couple thousand plat for it if your not going to use it

I honestly only like using Hunter Munitions on weapons that already have good slash. Like my Stradavar Prime, which has a riven for +crit chance / +slash damage, on a fully auto weapon that already has good hybrid stats

Two main schools of focus for farming Eidolons. Madurai for Void Strike and Unairu for wisp (this one helps with the shield nuking)
Amp X23 where X is mostly irrelevant to the shield damaging part. Try 223 and Virtuous Fury as an arcane.
@@LeyzarGamingViews Thanks ! We were using that Focus trees already and using 222 amp, and yeah I could nuke the shield but in like 20 -25 seconds charging void strike but in the video they nuke it's shield almost instantly, I guess we just got to improve and also work on our arcanes too.
