For a good amount of time Eidolon Hunting went out of fashion because of the Scarlet Spear event but time flies and Arcanes are still a must have!
To that end today we're revisiting one of the best Eidolon hunting Sniper in Warframe, the Vectis Prime.
The weapon offers a unique Gameplay experience as it can be rapid fired when build Correctly and with the proper Arcanes. That and the fact that Primed Chamber is now a lot more easy to get being available from Baro.
The Vectis prime has a base critical chance of thirty percent with a multiplier of two point zero which is not bad but I would call it fantastic either. If you want to bring a sniper to normal mission than you can rely on the standard Hunter Munitions Viral build in case you don't have Primed Chamber.
For the best build we would need a riven that would reduce our magazine capacity so we can get maximum value out of Primed Chamber. This does not mean that the Vectis Prime does not perform without a riven as I demonstrate in the video.
While both Standard and classic builds are showcased today we'll focus more on Eidolon setups since this is the primary use for Sniper rifles currently in Warframe.
Obtaining a riven mod for the Vectis with minus magazine capacity and good stats is difficult which is why I showcase both Eidolon setups with and without riven. Either way the weapon performs very well and it gets my seal of approval and I would highly recommend you try the Vectis Prime as it allows for a lot more faults that something like a charged weapon.

I really love the Vectis Prime, because was my first weapon with catalyst, given for free with Trinity Prime for trying twitch prime. My first riven I rolled myself was cc ms sd -mag but there was not primed chamber on NSW. I finally got this amazing dream roll as in the video, I traded a kidney for it but it was worth it, considering the unconditional love I have for the weapon.
In the past week, I’ve actually gotten back into Warframe. I guess a 7 month long break was just what I needed. Perfect time to learn the new way to build my Vectis Prime!

Yep. I found out about it a bit ago. I really fucking hope they don't nerf it. Chroma didn't deserve the massive indirect nerf he got. Plus, the Stug used to be considered absolutley useless. Now however, it's a niche choice, only really usable for one frame. And that's okay.

Wait, you can stack Primed Chamber WITH Charged Chamber? That's like allowing you to stack Pressure Point with Primed Pressure Point and Sacrificial Pressure. Like, I dropped my beer when I heard this.

For Eidolons, if you use a heat Vectis with 2 mag cap and Primed Chamber and Volt with Shock Trooper, you can proc electricity for the radiation which is more the meta, but this is still good

You should be building for pure heat if you are using volt. The extra electric damage shock trooper grants will not combine with the radiation damage on your weapon, but it will combine with the heat on the weapon to form radiation.

Hands down, the best riven I ever got.

stug got "fixed" 7 days after this video :)and I forgot velocitus existed, mostly because my AW mods are not fully kitted out yet (tho i do have the primed damage), thoug have mroe than enough for a snipe build, depends on the elements if have most but not all.

I will comment on some prices:
At the time of this video, primed chamber still Costa a arm and a leg (about 300 plat).
Vectis rivens are also expensive but cheaper than Rubico rivens if you buy them unrolled or trashed out so take that as you will.

To be honest i knew about this bug for about 1 or 2 weeks already but didn't tell many people, especially the more popular ones because idk if it is a bug or not and wanted it to last for a bit longer. Also if you go volt, you can don't use electric 90 mod and go for shock trooper and just have heat on your gun. It will combine into rad and you will have slot for primed chamber. Also with harrow buff probably every sniper can 1 shot limbs :P

Still a little salty abt the vectis prime having 2 round mags. Never had primed chamber but I still loved the vectis and was my most used weapon for a long long time even though it wasn't the strongest weapon back then.
It had a faster fire rate when you hit R immediately after firing back then giving it a rather unique feel. Was just 1 of the things that slowly made me lose faith in DE that they don't quite understand the "fun" things but I guess I was just a minority of players.
You can also get self damage off of the Kuva Ayanga but it’s kinda hard to pull off
Stug is the best sidearm now :)

I found out about the Stugg detail some time ago, but kept it quiet in case it wasn't supposed to work, because Chroma players have already been pretty much fucked.

I'd say no. But I was never a huge fan of his.
Can you make videos on Warframes builds and how to use? You are the only reliable source I trust. Please start with Nekros, Mesa, and Saryn if you decide to do so

Welp, they finally did it, they removed the self-damage on update 28.3, feels bad man...
The Stug returns to its rightful place as both the most obsolete weapon in all of Warframe and also the worst and weakest enemy weapon when placed in Tenno hands (seriously, the Noxes that wield the Stug do obscene amounts of damage while the Warframe just tickle the enemy with a bubble dispenser)

Had a lot vectis rivens, got primed chamber like 3 and still not so good, arquebex in necramech its way eaiser built with radiation, but still operation orphix had came and people dont care anymore about arcanes and in the new railjack update that event will come back so. its a shame DE putted eidolon hunts and profit taker true bosses from aside

I think my vectis build is my only problem :/ Also the fact that I’m not high enough in MR to even make the prime version (which means I use the normal one) But I did do a couple of Terry’s today with Harrow and shot through the volt shield and oh my goodness Mwah them sweet red crits

I LOVE damage over time and playing around it, but it's kinda annoying crit's only real way around armor comes in the form of a DoT. I can certainly see just wanting a head to explode as soon as your massive sniper even just points their way, I kinda wish there were more reasonable ways to do that. If corrosive procs' armor reduction increased relative to the dmg of the shot and then dealt dmg AFTER the strip of the same shot, maybe that'd work a lot better.
I think DE kept the Stugg with self dmg because it the weapon is so bad. They probably didnt want to highlight that since aside from chroma self dmg isn't necessary (and the Eidolon hits like a snowstorm).
Oh, they're definitely gonna patch that Stug self-damage because no fun allowed and no self-damage Chroma either. Funny enough, this strat makes the Stug viable if not anything else since it is the worst weapon in the game :'D
how well does the archwing weapons do for eidolon?? Iv got he Kuva, cannon.. and its MEAN.
I think the stug self damage is a bug and as soon as anybody from DE sees this video it's gonna be patched out. Also honestly, if chroma comes back to the eidolon meta it's gonna become boring again. I mean I have seen people use banshee synovia DPS since chroma died.

They really need to rebalance sniper rifles. Rubico prime has a better augment to make it much more usable in regular missions and better stats compared to the vectis.

I'd honestly kill for a mod that takes away the scoped aiming on the snipers and make them aim like normal primaries
For some reason Loki's invisibility does just that. I can aim a sniper rifle like a normal gun in 3rd person while invisible. 😈
You can get -zoom mods and there is an option in ur settings to disable sniper scopes
Put hunter adrenaline for augur message ( with umbral form )
You shouldnt have shown the stug self damage, if it gets popular DE will notice and "fix it"
