A quick amendment to something I said during this video which a few people have pointed out - you do not need to be rank 5 with solaris united to ACCESS Little Duck's shop, however you do still need to be rank 5 with solaris united to get to atleast rank 2 with her as you will need to have access to the heist bounties in order to obtain the systems to rank up with her :>
At the 14 minute mark you mention guilding amps, you need to be rank 3 with the Quills to actually guild your amps. To get from rank 2 to 3 you need to trade in 10 Eidolon shards, so you'll need to do some Eidolon runs prior to be able to guild an amp.
@@theduck3126 Yep that was an oversight by me, however you no longer need to guild an amp to get its full stats, just get it to 30 and it'll auto-upgrade. Guilding is now only to get MR :)
I found it difficult to find a guide that is actually suitable for BEGINNERS to follow. A lot of them just went straight into the speed run strats/ mid-end game builds so this guide is super helpful. Was really nice to show the actual hunting in real time and explain each step so people know what theyre seeing and why its happening. TYSM for putting the time and effort into this ❤
Dude, this is THE guide. I've seen countless of them, both in english and in spanish, and people rush the hell out of the process as if everyone knew what they are supposed to do. This was so nice I will be hunting my first proper eidolon probably tomorrow or the next day (I need to raise those standings xD). Thank you very much for this. This is immensely helpful, really.
@@jacsonitos5420 I was looking for any of your socials like twitter or whatever, but you don't seem to have them. Thing is. I just did it. I killed my first Eidolon, and I did it solo! I was kind of not ideal, both in time and efficiency. I did an attempt yesterday and noticed I needed the energy boosters so I brought them, but I also run out of ammo a few times so... but hey! From now on it's the adjusting process! Now 9 more to rank up with the quills xD I am infinitely grateful for this guide :D Edit: I captured it, not killed it haha
I would like to mention that as of update 32 , gilding is only for mastery rank and customization. The patch notes states this: "Instead of upon Gilding, modular weapons will now have their full stats available upon ranking up to Level 30. Gilding your Modular weapon now serves the purpose of allowing it to earn Mastery and unlock customization. This allows players to have access to more powerful gear without needing to fully level and earn Standing for the respective Syndicates! "
Your early game explanations are elite! Thank you for the guide I finally captured the Teralysts by myself in under 20 minutes. I'm now working on the endgame build and farming arcanes, and amp parts. Excellent guide!
Thanks, I've had a hard time digesting guides about Eidolon hunting because of how it was being approached, that being speed running/one shotting. The explanation while showing how lures work was perfect thanks.
One thing to mention abt load times at the gate, enabling DX 11 in your warframe launcher and enabling the shader cache greatly improves load times on the plains, I have warframe installed on a HDD and I'm still able to get
I started following your channel this week and eventually got interested in eidolon hunting. I dunno if you are a master of youtube algorhythm, but either way, it's perfect timing! Thanks, mate!
Just did my first 5x3 and its all thanks to your guides. I still struggle a lot with propa timing and getting the last ones shields down instantly but its getting better. Keep up the great content!
I’m having the same issues as well as getting knocked back a lot from propa. Not one shotting hydrolist shields is from contamination wave falling off, try and hit it right after you break the limb of your VS shot and look at your VS cooldown to know when to refresh it. I’m right where your at man and that helped me
@@joeleeman9886if you're getting knocked back from propa it means your propa doesn't shoot through your shield which also results in little damage to the shields
Amazing guide, thank you! As a fully geared returning player but from before the focus changes, this was very useful to get up to speed with the new meta and also taught me about vomvalyst spawns :)
I am MR18(for like 2 years, pls don't ask why), i can solo atleast 5x3+2 in one night , and i still use the normal vectis as the go weapon for eidolon hunting , i have both vectis prime and rubico prime , honestly you can do solo 5x3 with any decent weapon , even ignis wraith(the community's favourite weapon)works. Maxing the madurai school and getting the good Amp and Arcanes comes first. This is the best eidolon hunting guide i have ever seen until now for new players. Honestly, i would very much recommend getting a friend who can do eidolon , or a group of friends who just started like you to make it fun and much much much much faster. With high MR friend you easily skip the vom farming and initial focus farming phase.Eidolon hunting is honestly not as hard as people think or say, it just require decent gear and persistence.Believe me , eidolon hunting was way way more harder before 3-4 years , we didn't have helminth to subsume eclipse , and we had to sit in void for eternity to stack 10x damage in our amp , and literally dash into eidolon's head with void dash(changed to void sling now) to proc virtuos shadow to get 60% more crit chance , those dark days of propa never critting cause it has only 80% crit chance. We didnt have eternal eradicate and eternal onsault back then. These days eidolon hunts got so much easier to do.
Not sure if you missed it, but at 14:00 to gild an amp at Quill Onko you need to be rank 3 - and to get to rank 3 you need 10 eidolon shards (so 10 teralyst kills/ captures). This was actually my first roadblock when I decided I wanted to get into eidolon hunting (I’m still a complete beginner, only captured the teraylst, and just recently reached rank 3 with Quill). I wanted to build + gild a 123 amp to start hunting, and then learned that I couldn’t do that without killing some teralysts first. Great video so far! I really like that you’re walking through from the very beginning and not jumping straight to the more complex stuff.
@@jacsonitos5420 honestly it’s not even an issue. When I realized I needed rank 3 to guild I just used an ungilded 121 and, like you showed, the teralyst fight really isn’t that hard. Thanks for the video - it’s nice seeing a comprehensive guide! I’ll definitely refer back to this when I eventually start doing tri-caps
This is a very good guide to share with newer players for getting into Eidolons. Now I just need to find one that covers group composition for co-op runs so I can stop explaining myself. Thanks
Mate!! ... o7 I've struggled in comprehending the complexity of this Eidolon hunt! This video is straight platinum! And then You FLEXED the hell outa the game. ... Mate, that was awesome! Great video. Thank you MR17 Excalibur Umbra
Woh, actual guide that I can send people! I dunno why I refered people to your 9.5 episode of Warframe Done Efficiently (this is much better for beginners). Thanks a lot for your videos, helped me learn a lot. Me and my friend who showed me your channel originally, always gush over how smart your approach to the game is
rly like this guide :) maybe it would be a nice to point out for the mid/lategame: - duviri combat intrinsics tier 8 (or 9) is increasing operator dmg by 25% and without it it is difficult to oneshot hydrolist shields - for hydrolyst the vazarin focus waybounds are very helpful, because he deals a lot of aoe dmg
26:40 side note: using the amesha archwing with the 1st skill negates the magnetic affect along with damage based on your strength mods applied on your archwing
Thank you so much for this guide! I am new to Eidolon but with the help of this guide I can now properly do Eidolon runs solo! Kudos and keep it up! :)
And about a year later, I finally achieved the 6x3 last night. I just wanted to extend a massive thank you for the inspiration and guides you've put out, I truly could not have done it without your help. Keep up the amazing work, your channel is an absolute gem!
Really interesting guide. What i would inform new players to do is to do their best to get one of the three best amps (i would recommend the 777 if i remember that one correctly being the short range flamethrower) and make use of Oberon and Lanka. Don't worry about removing the eidolons armor at all. And then Volt and Trinity are amazing soloing all three once you have 21 Arcane Nullifier.
You can't gild amps before reaching Adherent (3rd) rank with the Quills or Hand (3rd) rank with Vox Solaris. In order to reach rank 3 with the Quills you need Eidolon Shards, which means that you have to use either an ungilded 121 Amp or the Sirocco (Unless you can access heists and rank up with Vox Solaris).
I didn’t expect a guide like this to come out. I watched a lot of your older videos to improve my Tridos. Best I can do is 10:00-10:30 mins on average per run with what you consider an “endgame loadout” that can do 6x3. I still havent been able to do a single 5x3 and you managed to easily do it with a budget setup. Most of my issues come from lures. I feel like im too slow. Whenever I return after a limb break, the Eidolon has finished screaming and I don’t have enough time to recast buffs for a clean limb takedown. If I try to take 8 lures by the end of Terry. I’ll most likely not find enough voms to cap Garry. If I get 4 lures on terry so I can have 4-5 lures during Garry, I always come back too late for a clean limb break. I feel like the reason for it is my AW speed. I am nowhere as fast as you are even with full buffs. My volt has 185% str with amalgam serration and the AW speed and blink intrinsics, and sprint boost. Do you think I should try to get more power str on my volt?
Same as everything, its just practice and time. Remember that eidolon hunts have been in the game for almost 6 years now, some people have done tens of thousands of runs.
What duration do you have on your build? You mention not being able to cast buffs in time but on Terry you should only have to cast buffs twice at most so maybe try adding some more duration to your build so you dont have to worry about it as much? 🤔
@@jacsonitos5420 I have over 200% duration so it isn't an issue. The problem was I felt too slow with only 185% str. Whenever I leave to grab a lure inbetween limbs I always come back with the eidolon already standing up leaving me with no time to setup the shield break without having the eidolon move. This obviously isn't an issue if the eidolon spawned near a lure camp. I managed to solve this issue by changing my build to accomodate 225% speed. I feel a lot faster now and can consistently make it back in time (provided I don't get lost) My issue now is consistently doing 2+1. Sometimes the voms don't spawn even when I get to the east camp tree in 6s. I know I was fast enough because of the timer and because no cats spawn. Whenever I inch forward the rest of the camp will spawn but will not show any voms. I sometimes tried waiting to see what happens. Often times cats will spawn but voms won't. I can only speculate that I stopped way too close to the camp and it messed with the voms spawn. The only solution I have for this is to try not to stop too close to the camp. But if I stop too far I will miss the 1st cycle and might even get cats.
Bro this is normal for everyone who starts , i stayed in this face for like 2 weeks . Quick Charge takes a week to a month to learn to do proficiently. And lure handling needs practice , and don't take all lures at the teralyst , you just need to have four when you cap the teralyst , rest you can figure out during the run.
You don't need to put the necramech at the door, flying there with the archwing can still tp the lures and open the doors then just suck in the loot with itzal
Very nice and understandable guide, didnt get into eidolon hunting yet because i thought i´d lack many things, did 2 teralysts after your video, didnt know i was already that ready. Still feels like Rubico prime is lacking dmg even with all the mods youve shown, but thats most likely because i have to use armor stripper. Also i did find it hard sometimes staying behind volts shield when killing limbs because i got constant arty fire from the eidolon, (only in the second run tho) any suggestions for that ? u did not rly seem to encouter these
not sure what you're referring to, by second run do you mean the gantulyst? If you are referring to the teralyst attacks then I would utilise your operator's void mode a bit more to avoid damage etc. Being able to swap between operator and frame is actually a very useful mechanic you can employ to avoid quite a few attacks
i like how no one wanna talk about that awkward phase between mid and end game im stuck in it for like a year BUT i can make it work i just need to combine some gear from the mid phase and some gear from the end game and it should work....probably
I would recommend against xata's whisper. It actually does a bit less damage than eclipse in this instance and also can sometimes cause havoc if you spawn a bubble
Dude, best eidolon guide out there. So much help thank u. But I need to know… what is your drifter fashion? Don’t need all the colors, but the suit you’re using. Man he looks good. And I need the combination of chest, arms and legs.
Thanks for this really in-depth guide! I was just wondering if you could share your video settings because your screen just looks so much clearer during the hunt compared to my own
I guess, on call crew mate is only used at the Terralyst? I never knew when exactly should I deploy him. Ditched him completely after a while, he seemed useless. Now I see why I should bring him back on my gear wheel. Great video by the way!
Shame! *ding ding ding* Shame! *ding ding ding* hehe 😅 i love eidolon hunting thus i started to do all the content to get me on the playing field for eidolons... Solaris united, vox solaris, that got me the clamora prism, i worked my rear off on a saturday, bought platinum, i got my maxed energize and now im working on holdfast standing for the secondary amp arcane adapter 🎉 so just keep at it and you'll be doing eidolons in no-time!
My general piece of advice would be to try and improve your speed. You may notice that the gantulyst and hydrolyst are only able to use their abilities (e.g. laser beams and mag explosions) if they are allowed to do a stomp. The key to maintaining health is to complete the fight fast enough so that they do not have the chance to use anything against you. It will take a bit of practice (and dying a lot) but it's worth it if you can get your time down - you will feel far more relaxed when hunting :)
I got my first solo triydolon in 15 mins ehehe my amp is realy bad everything els is in mid game I`m using sirocco and only got to madurai focus tree! well done guide man
the sirrico is prerry ghoood considering. what more do u need. i think its trhe after shield part taht u havin trouble with lol. if only someone would scratch his back he might sit still..
Wait. I'll say this now before any of you guys get triggered on what I'm about to ask. So let's just say for my own sanity sake, I've never done an eidolon hunt before yet I've like joined up a pub to just grab the shards in the end, I've kinda grasp the gist of the hunt but still bit confusing for me. So let me see if I understand this. Locate the eidolon and mark it, then find lures and charge it with voms, then start shooting it's weak points? Is that really it like a rinse and repeat process or am I way off?
1:11:17 can you explain what exactly happens here? It looks like the 2 propas dont break the shield and you have to go back in operator and fire a third propa however how did you do this so fast?
The main problem I have with eidolons is no something no build can fix. My pc takes around 4 minutes to log into both the plains and Cetus, so at my absolute fastest I can only hit 3 hydrolysts due to long load timea
that is an incredibly long load time. Even with an HDD and DDR3 Ram I wouldn't expect a load time longer than 45 - 50 seconds. What hardware are you running off of if you don't mind me asking and also what FPS do you get?
@@jacsonitos5420 I don't know much about my specs nor how to figure them out but from what I could find about my pc I have a AMD Ryzen 5 1600 Six-Core Processor, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti, and 8 gb of RAM available with 16 max, of all that the only thing I really know is that my graphics card is really old (I got my pc pre-built really cheap). My pc has little problems running most games, and I can run warframe in 60 fps consistently, but it takes some time to get up to that in missions, and especially on areas like POE of dojos.
@@guava9343 is it like xram or whatever. some ram can be 'boosted' more the manufacture has the settings for your computer to fully utillize certain types of ram in hte bios/uefi startup menu. that may help if u do have the proper ram new GPU help but without the right motherboard etc kind of pointless....goto actual pc store lol....if considering upgrade what kind of router and what speed of interent are you paying for? check your CAT(internet) cables. on the side there should be a CAT { ? } generally its CAT5 cable if u do have that could try upgrading to CAT6. 10x the max transfer speed and more bandwith available. if your payingh for internet thats supposed to be 1Gb/S speed or better then ur not getting your moneis worth with CAT5 as its cap is 1GB/S router might be a bottle neck can find online a benchmark checker goes thuru your pc and runs tests sees how it compares can tell u if somehting is peticularily weak
While this was all helpful and I'm very grateful for awesome guide, I was wondering, seeing you all maxed and kitted out, what is it left for you in warframe? Like, what's your goal and what keeps you playing further?
Made a video on that a while ago xD I don't actually play warframe all that much (don't find the time) so when I do play it's all about getting things done quickly. There's always something to minmax :) past that it's just a case of gathering up platinum so that when the next update drops you're ready to buy up everything you need :)
It definitely helps to have a second damaging ability on your volt, and I would say it is needed to get to 6x3 stage, potentially also 5x3 but I have tested to see if it can be done without it
So now that im getting some practice the one major thing thats messing me up is bad contamination wave timing, there will be some times where I have both eternal arcanes up and shoot 2 propas through a shield followed by a raplak and the eidolons shield is only 60% gone. Thats 100% missing contamination wave right? Is there a tip or someway you do this so well because right now im not getting it? I followed trix's guide as well but you do it differently it seems and im not sure your method. Thanks.
Sorry for late reply on this. It's not necessarily contamination wave. If it is, make sure you do not use it too early as you want it to proc operator ability buff (which lasts 8 seconds I think). It could also be distance (hit boxes are kinda messed up atm) or it could intervening obstacles blocking some propa dets. My suggestion would be to alter you position a bit and maybe try using contamination a bit later.
For use in eidolon hunts I would recommend radiation or electricity damage. Go for as higher multishot (and damage) as you can plus fire rate and you'll be fine.
I’ve learned a lot from this video especially the 177 alt fire, wth was that man 😂 Also, the Zenith feels very weak in term of damage to me, fully build
How do you think the new Radiation mods will affect Eidolon hunting? Do they add noticeable amounts of damage output or are they not that important with the pre-existing Shock Trooper/Hellfire combo?
honestly I don't see them being overly beneficial. The only place I could see them working is on pistol (increased fire rate alongside radiation) and potentially if you like using Vectis the rifle variant would be okay. But otherwise other mods can offer more damage.
I have a lot of problems with finding Voms around the map. I feel like they never spawn when I look for them, and that I am always behind on damage because I waste to much time looking for them. My lures also keep dying because I m not fast enough... Do you have any timp for finding Voms consistently? I ve seen the trick where you look at a place with your scope and kinda tap W in that direction, bit it doesn't really work.
So they have very recently introduced a feature which allows you to Highlight enemies - I would turn this on first of all (in your settings). Getting voms to spawn is about timing more than anything, since they spawn on a rotating cycle of about 6 seconds - don't move around too fast as well as you are likely to hit enemy cap (try looking for them away from any grineer encampments)
Yeah I get asked this a lot. The simple answer is that if you do enough damage it doesn't watter, and considering we are using melee attack to switch weapon we are going to be stripping the armor either way. Ideally - you'd do max damage with the armor at like 1%. But you'd do more damage to no armor eidolon than 100% armor eidolon. At the end of the day if you can one shot it no matter what then thats one more thing you dont have to think about
@@jacsonitos5420 ah I see thanks, if we weren't able to one shot the limbs, would it be better to build electricity over radiation with the armour strip since it's health is weak to electricity?
@@spectralspectra2282 Yes techincally it would be better to have pure electric damage with full strip. However remember that if for whatever reason the armor remains unstripped (e.g. you forget to do it) then you are going to have a hard time + damage to lures will be less (should still be enough though I think)
you need to use a cipher during the blink animation, so when you blink it actually registers you at the target location - so you press X (to hack lure) and then Y (to use Cipher) during the blink and it will hack before you even get there :)
How do you keep up your energy? I find that part super difficult. I have Wyrm with negate and rank 5 arcane nullifier and boiiii I'm always out of energy. Not having energy makes me lose time, so the eido (notably gantulist, terry is 84% mastered) has time to do it's sheets while I put the pizza down and wait for energy. I struggle with that the most, as then everything drags. Lures get destroyed by lasers, gantu gets that immensely annoying shield that pushes me to another country, and he spawns an insufferable amount of voms that even my on-crew cant manage, then eidos shields grow bigger and even when I can do terry in between 5.30 to 7.00 minutes (depending on my lure management), if I capture gantu, my time goes up to 20+ minutes and a whole lot of frustration. Sorry for the rant 😅😅😅 Any suggestions?
hmmm, sounds like a bit more going on here than just energy tbh, but I can offer a few suggestions. Firstly, rn is a great time to pick up Arcane energise (through the event). Everytime you destroy an eidolon limb it will drop an energy orb so prioritise picking these up. Increase the duration of your abilities over your efficiency (might sound stupid but in actual fact on volt this can work quite well as it means you'll only have to use 2 or 3 shields per eidolon in theory). Make sure to be using large energy pads (100 energy per pad) which can be obtained from the dojo. You can also use Archon Shards to improve energy gain per energy orb, or increase your overal energy pool or starting energy.
I believe this video should still be relevant. But in addition to this I would also recommend you turn "Highlight enemies" on in your settings as this will allow you to see the vomvalysts a lot easier: ua-cam.com/video/Dgz15yTEM-U/v-deo.html
trial and error I'm afraid. I've been hunting eidolons since they were introduced so have plenty of practice. What I would say is that its better to take your time getting the landing right than mindlessly flying into the ground and waiting for the stagger animation to pass - after a while you'll get it down no worries :>
Hey if you have both arcanes active, contamination wave on boss and shoot through a shield, is 2 propas and a raplak always enough to break the third eidolons shields 100% of the time? Ive had a few where I shot and there was still shield up after 2 propas and a raplak and im wondering if thats just something that can happen or if I had to have missed something? I find that spamming contamination wave sometimes doesnt proc the crit arcane so im guessing I need to spam that then dash to make sure im drained fully.
@@elainyaa You know I hear people saying this but theres been several times where Ill propa propa raplak melee into zenith shot and theres still a sliver of shield left on Hydro. Im positive I have my arcanes active, my contamination wave timing is now dead on and of course if I didnt shoot it through a shied id know why. Im wondering if Im not aiming the propa in the right spots and im getting the infamous falloff I hear about.
Does it matter where we craft the vermsplicer? Fortuna or deimos? I remember there was some bug with weapons crafted at fortuna. Where did you craft yours?
Can I see your other volt build? I want to invest two umbra forma on it but I'm not sure if it will fit on the other builds such as nuke or general uses.
It does also work very well with the other builds. I'm currently away on holiday so can't get anything up on short notice, however I believe my other volt builds can be seen in my '10 ways to clear a map' and also my bounties guide videos :)
Thanks for this great tutorial. I finally got the thing down after years of trying. I;m still having a lot of trouble with several things but one of the most frustrating is, where is the drop? The eidolon was crushed in a heap but there was no drop. Eventually the vomvolists got him up again and I could bot get him down. I know I missing something.
Sounds weird, the items will only drop once you get the kill / capture shot, when you say the voms got him back up I'm assuming you mean the last phase where it stands back up and you have to take down its health bar. If you have the lures attached, then the loot will drop from the lures, if not and you kill it then it will drop from the eidolon itself
@@jacsonitos5420 Thank you for the reply. Some of the things you don't even think about I am just starting to learn, For example, I did not realize the loot would drop from the lures so I went over to the downed eidolon. I still do not understand the difference between kill and capture and the mechanics involved. Vomvolists swarm around the eidolon quite rapidly and I have trouble keeping up. Once the eidolon arose again I could not damage it. Loot or no loot it was a great feeling seeing the thing go down after thousands of hours of play. I will be watching your video repeatedly so I can gain additional insight. I have most of the components from my years of play but my damage is not equivalent to yours. Thanks again.
Got ya, yeah once you take out all the limbs the eidolon will go down and call in a load of voms but be advised you do not need to deal with these. Generally the eidolon will get up with max HP either way. If he is not damagable at this stage with your weapon, he has likely screamed to call for support, in which case focus on the vomvalysts which have a blue light tethering them to the eidolon (might be hard to see depending on your settings). Once these are taken down, you will have to damage his shield again using your amp until it comes down, then finish him off with your weapon :)
@@jacsonitos5420 I can't thank you enough for all the help you have been. I finally got him down today but it took me at least half an hour. some things are happening I don't understand, like him breaking away from the lures or why he relocates to a different area and I have to find him again. Anyway, my hand hurts. :)
@@aaronkrongard6239 the eidolon moves away to a different area if your lure isn’t fully charged (3 vomes stored in it) to tether him. You’ll notice the lure is charged when it’s icon above and body is glowing blue. If you move too far from it and/or don’t have the charged lure on stationary close enough to tether while you’re moving around it could potentially untether and the eidolon will teleport the first moment it gets. TLDR: make sure lures are charged, then just make sure you place them on stationary close to the eidolon.
You mentioned needing rank 5 in SU to buy from little duck, but that's not necessary, you can access her shop after unlocking the operator, which is far easier. (some rank requirement might exist, but the first time I bought from her on a new account this year, I was only rank 2SU)
m8 i have a question, im normally using rubico prime for my hunts but i saw some people use primed cryo rounds on their builds, that mod works for eidolon? cause i could have more dmg with that mod but idk if increase all my dmg or simply add the cryo status. hope u read me, ty!
Is using the Vectis Prime a good alternative to the Rubico? I have this build for Eidolons: Primed Cham/Serration/Vital Sense/Thermite Rnds/High Voltage/Critical Delay/Depleted Reload/Riven (161.5% Dmg, 81.9% multi, 119% crit dmg, -49.2% zoom)/Vigilante Supplies/Primary Merciless.
It's a good build but I don't think you need primed chamber and depleted reload, split chamber and vigilante armaments are the best in slot for you , and you might want to replace thermite rounds and high-voltage for That 90% heat and electricity mods if possible. If you have a crit chance multishot -negative riven with 110% multishot , you can even use a normal vectis with primed chamber. That would be more damage than your current vectis prime build , but yeah you will loose 1 sec if you miss the shot , that is why the Rubico is good . I have all the three snipers , but I still use the normal vectis as a have CC MS -neg riven , my build is amalgam serration , primed chamber , critical delay , split chamber , 90% heat mod , vital sense , hammer shot , riven . Hammer shot can be replaced with anything , like a 90% electric mod. You have to wait one sec for vectis reload of you miss. Rubico gives you more peace of mind cause of the large magazine. Definitely use vigorous swap in Warframe for extra 165% damage. Honestly no damage arcanes are necessary if you are not gonna miss the shot . With this build you don't even need to build up shot combo on a sniper if you have eclipse and shoot through the shield , most of the time it's one shot even if you don't use a shield, just don't forget to proc vigorous swap(switch to melee before going into operator form to break shields , so when you get back you will have the damage buff ready when you shoot).
Question i guess u have to do radiation damege to the eidolon after shield break? I put volts shield down and it seems my rubico doesn't want to damage him. Im sure im not casting the 1 before so maybe thats the issue
As far as I'm aware eclipse should work just fine on console, however if not then you can use Oberon smite (although this will require you to use up a mod slot for smite infusion) or Roar
@@jacsonitos5420 okay thanks, on Xbox we don't have access to the setting of dynamic lighting so we can get eclipse damage buff at night, unless there is a way
Even with dynamic lighting off you should still gain eclipse buff. Dynamic lighting originally allowed for a greater buff than normal however I believe this was fixed a couple of updates ago (I might be remembering incorrectly but I believe I am running with dynamic lighting off). You will be able to tell if you are receiving the damage bonus from eclipse if the buff number in the top right is above 100%. You won't gain the full buff it shows, but from testing it should give you at minimum 2x damage.
@@jacsonitos5420 yes eclipse does work, it never used to as I tried it a while back but it must've been changed in an update, but yes definitely works 😁
it depends largely on your build. If you are running vermi and have a fire rate riven then its probs ya best bet. But if you are using Knell Arcane velocity is probably better :)
Mmmm bit confused by your question. By tripcap do you mean how many hydrolysts can you capture in a single night? (I. E. 50 minutes?) if so then 6 has always been the physical limit. Someone did a 7 cap a long while ago but they drifted for over 24 hours so it wasn't considered legitimate xD
Must be 3, just missing a 4th due to time, with harry being a full cap. I thought that was a very good run at the time. When madurai was stackable in operater the void invisibility.
This is something that I generally do without thinking - but basically there is a spot behind the cargo container on the left which is very difficult to see if the vomvalysts spawn there. Because I've done the fast charge so many times, and know the positioning and timing very well, if I don't see the voms spawn in any of the other spots, I simply assume they have spawned there - 99% of the time they have done
@@jacsonitos5420 looks liek you do need to gild it to get an arcane on it, just made one and needed to.
Can't you be a gyromag systems from little duck for 1k standing
@@drpeganixgaming3106yes, you can buy those, and others for higher rank ups. What you NEED to get is Toroids
TYSM for putting the time and effort into this ❤
Same smh
i recommend watching Trix-VS, his guide helped me do my first solo 6x3. (I'm not saying this guide is bad, just saying if u wanna advance)
Others UA-camrs mostly say do this, do that with whooping headache 360 movements and not explaining a single thing.
But question, in order to gild the amp you need 10 eidolon shards to rank up with the Quills 😅 that's a pretty high barrier. How to do this?
Fret not! They've actually updated the game so that you now only need to reach rank 30 on the amp to gain the bonus stats. Guiding is now just for MR
Now 9 more to rank up with the quills xD I am infinitely grateful for this guide :D
Edit: I captured it, not killed it haha
I would like to mention that as of update 32 , gilding is only for mastery rank and customization. The patch notes states this: "Instead of upon Gilding, modular weapons will now have their full stats available upon ranking up to Level 30. Gilding your Modular weapon now serves the purpose of allowing it to earn Mastery and unlock customization. This allows players to have access to more powerful gear without needing to fully level and earn Standing for the respective Syndicates! "
You still need to gild to use an Arcane
You can skip farming voms if you have a friend that can do eidolons, just make sure you pick up the shards and sacrifice them quickly.
I've always felt like I was lagging behind in eidolon hunts. Definitely learned some cool tricks to help out from this. Keep up the good work
I love to see the best of the best players be so kind to newer players, great job dude❤
I’m right where your at man and that helped me
For reference for the propa timing: shoot the propa when the left knee is at it's highest position
@@joeleeman9886if you're getting knocked back from propa it means your propa doesn't shoot through your shield which also results in little damage to the shields
@@elainyaa Ive got it figured out by now. My issue was actually I was standing too far behind the shield.
Thank you so much for this guide. Everyone else either goes too fast explaining or has all the meta stuff already that I don’t have yet or both.
My man gives literally every single detail. Lol I'm not beginner but he's even helped me figure out a few tips and tricks to hunting lol
Very beginner friendly and well made video. Thank you.
Thanks for raising that, I did skim over it!
@@jacsonitos5420 honestly it’s not even an issue. When I realized I needed rank 3 to guild I just used an ungilded 121 and, like you showed, the teralyst fight really isn’t that hard. Thanks for the video - it’s nice seeing a comprehensive guide! I’ll definitely refer back to this when I eventually start doing tri-caps
which is why fortuna is often easier
This is a very good guide to share with newer players for getting into Eidolons. Now I just need to find one that covers group composition for co-op runs so I can stop explaining myself.
Thanks
I really appreciate tou mentioning the quest requirements for newer players.
Phenomenal guide! This was exactly the kind of explanation I've been looking for. Super easy to understand and well organized. Thank you!
Great vid, the definitive Warframe noob to Eidolon pro guide, liked and subbed

Woh, actual guide that I can send people! I dunno why I refered people to your 9.5 episode of Warframe Done Efficiently (this is much better for beginners). Thanks a lot for your videos, helped me learn a lot. Me and my friend who showed me your channel originally, always gush over how smart your approach to the game is
rly like this guide :)
maybe it would be a nice to point out for the mid/lategame:
- duviri combat intrinsics tier 8 (or 9) is increasing operator dmg by 25% and without it it is difficult to oneshot hydrolist shields
- for hydrolyst the vazarin focus waybounds are very helpful, because he deals a lot of aoe dmg
This is the best Eidolon hunting guide I've seen. Thanks for all the great insight!
26:40 side note: using the amesha archwing with the 1st skill negates the magnetic affect along with damage based on your strength mods applied on your archwing
You're better off using a kdrive as it negates both the status and the damage from the attack
Thank you so much for this guide! I am new to Eidolon but with the help of this guide I can now properly do Eidolon runs solo! Kudos and keep it up! :)
This video right here is responsible for me just having pulled off my first 5x3. Here's to one more set!
And about a year later, I finally achieved the 6x3 last night. I just wanted to extend a massive thank you for the inspiration and guides you've put out, I truly could not have done it without your help. Keep up the amazing work, your channel is an absolute gem!
Best Guide to date for New Tennos. Thank you so much!
This is the best guide I've seen about this topic.
Thank you very much
This helped me a lot get my first and second eidolon hunt done.
Was just looking for one of these, glad it was you that madd it cause you are just fantastic at making these types of guides
Do you have the archwing speed intrinsic from rail jack? You can also set pins on lures just so you don’t have to think about where they’re at.
I feel a lot faster now and can consistently make it back in time (provided I don't get lost)
My issue now is consistently doing 2+1.
Everything explained to its fullest extent - very nice
Thank you for the video! Amazing content as always
Rubico dealt over 1 million a hit for me at full buff.
Volt Q with augment, E shield, Eclipse + Vigorous Swap + Dead Eye Aura
i like how no one wanna talk about that awkward phase between mid and end game im stuck in it for like a year
BUT i can make it work i just need to combine some gear from the mid phase and some gear from the end game and it should work....probably
can you use xata's whisper to replace volt's 4 for the endgame build?
also why is vermisplicer so good against eidolons?
I would recommend against xata's whisper. It actually does a bit less damage than eclipse in this instance and also can sometimes cause havoc if you spawn a bubble
Dude, best eidolon guide out there. So much help thank u.
But I need to know… what is your drifter fashion? Don’t need all the colors, but the suit you’re using. Man he looks good. And I need the combination of chest, arms and legs.
Currently available in the Nightwave rewards I believe :)
Thanks for this really in-depth guide! I was just wondering if you could share your video settings because your screen just looks so much clearer during the hunt compared to my own
If you watch the first video of my new playthrough, you can see my settings there :)
I guess, on call crew mate is only used at the Terralyst? I never knew when exactly should I deploy him. Ditched him completely after a while, he seemed useless. Now I see why I should bring him back on my gear wheel. Great video by the way!

hey jac can u do another ultimate guide about profit taker with chroma
Sure :>
This is a great guide, and thanks for making it. I struggle with staying alive/keeping my lures alive when I'm fighting gantulyst/hydrolyst. Any tips?

Feel like I'm watching a movie 💀
1:11:17 can you explain what exactly happens here? It looks like the 2 propas dont break the shield and you have to go back in operator and fire a third propa however how did you do this so fast?
u switch faster from operator to wf when u melee

transference, alt fire, melee to go back to frame instantly
Bro has eidolons shivering at the mention of his name
Amazing content and helpful guide but may I ask it is a must to use helminth system, as I am not in the mood to farm for that.
It definitely helps to have a second damaging ability on your volt, and I would say it is needed to get to 6x3 stage, potentially also 5x3 but I have tested to see if it can be done without it
Very nice guide as always! why do you keep running unstuck command is there something to it?
very nice guide. kudos sir
are you using cyphers when you are instantly capping those lures at 48:14? do you have a keybinding for it?
Yep using cypher, default keybind Y (which is what I'm using)
So now that im getting some practice the one major thing thats messing me up is bad contamination wave timing, there will be some times where I have both eternal arcanes up and shoot 2 propas through a shield followed by a raplak and the eidolons shield is only 60% gone.
I FINALLY DID IT MY 1ST SOLO EIDOLON TYTYTY
Yayy!!!!
Can you give an example Tenet Cycron build for the elite railjack crewmember? And which innate element should I use for said Tenet Cycron?
For use in eidolon hunts I would recommend radiation or electricity damage. Go for as higher multishot (and damage) as you can plus fire rate and you'll be fine.
I’ve learned a lot from this video especially the 177 alt fire, wth was that man 😂
Also, the Zenith feels very weak in term of damage to me, fully build
I always thought you wouldn't want to strip the eidolon armour because the armour was weak to radiation but the health wasn't or something like that
Yeah I get asked this a lot.
How do you hack things becore the hacking screen even comes up?
you need to use a cipher during the blink animation, so when you blink it actually registers you at the target location - so you press X (to hack lure) and then Y (to use Cipher) during the blink and it will hack before you even get there :)
Sorry for the rant 😅😅😅
Any suggestions?
hmmm, sounds like a bit more going on here than just energy tbh, but I can offer a few suggestions.
41:18 damn didnt know raplak can do that
kek 😂
that volumetric fog tho
Thank you !
That volt though 👌🏻
Thank you for the guide.
I am taking quite a long time to charge my first lure. Is there some trick to it?
I believe this video should still be relevant. But in addition to this I would also recommend you turn "Highlight enemies" on in your settings as this will allow you to see the vomvalysts a lot easier: ua-cam.com/video/Dgz15yTEM-U/v-deo.html
Hi! How do you practice waters? I feel like it's so difficult to stick the landing properly, and it's so hard shooting at long.
trial and error I'm afraid. I've been hunting eidolons since they were introduced so have plenty of practice. What I would say is that its better to take your time getting the landing right than mindlessly flying into the ground and waiting for the stagger animation to pass - after a while you'll get it down no worries :>
I followed everything i have the same build for volt and rubico maxed out and yet i deal way less damage and run out of energy everytime.
So I haven’t unlock the 177 yet. So the alternate fire fires slow moving orbs?
Correct, it's a time delayed explosive
Hey if you have both arcanes active, contamination wave on boss and shoot through a shield, is 2 propas and a raplak always enough to break the third eidolons shields 100% of the time? Ive had a few where I shot and there was still shield up after 2 propas and a raplak and im wondering if thats just something that can happen or if I had to have missed something? I find that spamming contamination wave sometimes doesnt proc the crit arcane so im guessing I need to spam that then dash to make sure im drained fully.
even one propa + raplak is enough for hydrolist. just make sure both amp buffs are active and ur shooting thru shield
@@joeleeman9886 yeah sounds like falloff
Does it matter where we craft the vermsplicer? Fortuna or deimos? I remember there was some bug with weapons crafted at fortuna. Where did you craft yours?
I crafted mine on deimos I believe, but as far as I'm aware there is no difference
jac do a level cap builds&strats video
Can I see your other volt build? I want to invest two umbra forma on it but I'm not sure if it will fit on the other builds such as nuke or general uses.
It does also work very well with the other builds. I'm currently away on holiday so can't get anything up on short notice, however I believe my other volt builds can be seen in my '10 ways to clear a map' and also my bounties guide videos :)
I wanna ask what setting do you use to make the night looks clear as day? And also very nice video, much appreciated.
I believe there is a clip on my twitch channel showing my settings ::)
Alright thanks
I still can't fathom what's happening at 52:08 was that madurai ability 1 followed by amp 1 shot and immediately rubico shot to the limb?
Exactly :)
You do need to level up su because of the items required for leveling up little duck
m8 i have a question, im normally using rubico prime for my hunts but i saw some people use primed cryo rounds on their builds, that mod works for eidolon? cause i could have more dmg with that mod but idk if increase all my dmg or simply add the cryo status. hope u read me, ty!
Yo, primed cryo is an option and probs best to replace vig armaments with if you have it.
@@jacsonitos5420 ty so much, I'm going to do it now!
@@Athena_101Good advice.
Question i guess u have to do radiation damege to the eidolon after shield break? I put volts shield down and it seems my rubico doesn't want to damage him. Im sure im not casting the 1 before so maybe thats the issue
Okay when you say doesn't want to damage, do you mean literally 0 damage?
What is the cycron build on you’re crew mate?
Great video, just one question, i play in console so im unable to use eclipse due to the lighting, what would be the best alternative to use ? Thanks
@@jacsonitos5420 I'll test it
@@jacsonitos5420 yes eclipse does work, it never used to as I tried it a while back but it must've been changed in an update, but yes definitely works 😁
i didn't know about the trick of dashing into the lure with the vomalist drop, does that stack?
you can only pick up one essence at a time unfortunately :'(
Before zariman update, eidolon is so fun. 😢
What do you think about klamora? For people who are bad at timing ?
its an option, but you will lose time each limb + not sure how good it is on water shields anymore. Its very good for mopping up vomvalysts.
Small question, how important is Arcane Precision on the endgame build? I can't imagine you get a ton of headshots in an eidolon hunt.
it depends largely on your build. If you are running vermi and have a fire rate riven then its probs ya best bet. But if you are using Knell Arcane velocity is probably better :)
so can I skip the quill standing grind with sirocco?
Yeah I would say that the sirocco can compete with most of what the quills have, maybe with the exception of raplak shraksun combo
So with this end-game meta. Whats the highest tripcap players have done (ive had a good team from xbox few years ago when stacking madurai, 11caps)
Thank you
At 1:05:55 how did you see the vomvalysts? I couldn't see the flash at all.
