  • My 1996 Ford E-350 Econoline Van with the 7.5L (Big Block 460) engine had been sitting for about a year and a half Before I picked it up. I thought it would be a good idea to take all the intake ducting out, Inspect it, clean the pipes, and clean the mass air flow sensor. once done, I put it all back together and show how to inject 2 cans of SeaFoam intake cleaner into the rest of the intake to clean out any gunk and carbon buildup. They put so many different engines in these vans throughout the years and this may be a bit different from yours but still could be similar, I hope this was helpful, and hope this can help restore a little horsepower and fuel economy on your old van. Thanks for watching!

That job didn't seem to impossible for the average car owner. Thanks for showing us how.

Hey Was, awesome video. I do miss the TW videos.
Have you watched foresty forest on UA-cam yet? He’s kinda like a Canadian version of you in a Chevy 4x4 van

Thanks for the great video! Do you think it’s better to replace the old fuel injectors rather than hope they get clean?

No problem, just run fuel injector cleaner in the fuel system, I wouldn’t replace them unless they have an actual problem and only replace with quality oem brand new motorcraft injectors if you do. I don’t recommend remanufactured injectors. They are trash and can ruin an engine

NEVER use carb cleaner on your throttle body!! It strips the factory applied laquer from the butterfly valve, and screws up the valve clearance. You should use Throttle body cleaner, or, mass air flow sensor cleaner. NEVER CARB CLEANER

@@4WheelKid You helped me with the intake removal, and I help you with the technical shit. That's how we all learn. Thank you for taking the time to make the video.
