That's right. Sometimes you can't resist some chocolate 😅
But it might not be necessary to follow all these tips to manage your weight.

Thanks for the great video and boost in self-compassion, not to rely on willpower.
For me, also the food choices impact sleep 😂😂😂.

I lost 50 lbs by exercise and calorie restriction. I have kept it off for 30 years

For me, what seems to be working is an irregular pattern of intermittent fasting. 48 hours once a month and 24 - 36 hours once a week. I can also add in a few one-meal days. On top of that, I’ve been fully plant-based a few years, and generally plant-based since the eighties. In the UK, going vegetarian or vegan doesn’t mean you will automatically eat healthy, unprocessed garbage.

Those fasting periods might be helpful disrupting and resetting some eating habits, like overeating, snacking, etc. It is an interesting approach!
Fasting for more than 24h specifically for weight loss can be ineffective, but using it for weight maintenance might prove useful!

@@Nerdtritionists It definitely can help reset things. As long as I don’t overdo it, and also don’t have easy garbage snacks on hand for when I break my fast. I generally don’t eat breakfast until 11am, or even 4pm when I’m doing one meal a day.
