Great video Chris . Recently revisited the area this summer as part of our frequent visits to London from our home in Liverpool . I worked at Liverpool Street in the eighties having completed a government training course as a joiner out in slough and worked at many other locations throughout the capital spending approximately 10 years of what were arguably, the best times of my life there . I never loose the thrill of arriving at Euston , “ straining at the leash” for the adventures ahead and have shared with my family , so many wonderful times , too many to recall . We,re already booked for our next visit and spitalfields will certainly be amongst the many places that we visit . Having recently discovered the pleasures of Richmond ( a little far out I know ) during the summer months and we often find ourselves “picnicking on the green “ or taking a lazy stroll down by the river . The fun never ends …..and each time feels like the first time !
Very interesting, thank you. However I always surprised when people are getting excited about The Jack The Ripper. There even was opened museum on the Cable street few years ago and thank you for the residents of the surrounding building it was closed.

Interesting video, but I did have to strain to hear what you were saying sometimes. Can you improve the sound please? I’m sure there are lots of technical tricks broadcasters use these days to enhance their voices on video.
