I really enjoy your videos!! Cool to see you working with your fire system!! Yes they are really stiff lol but you get used to it!! Stay safe and have fun!! ...
It’s so satisfying to see out with the old and in with the new the new system is looking really great can’t wait to see it up in action for testing and the heat detector in the bathroom it actually blends in well with the ceiling
I could try and make a video for the select few that would like it my one on the My other ones I have made didn’t do very good but I could I suppose it might be a long video because there’s lots to go over
If you’re wired class B you will wire it pretty much just like conventional except your last device won’t have your EOLR mine is wired class A so every device you will see 4 wires
Pickle the mounting hole on the bottom allows you to mount in on a screw already on the backbox and that will he,p you keep the station in when you screw it it actually helps me with my mini fire alarm system that uses buzzers instead of fire alarm since they’re much quieter but stil loud though
I thought any pull station could work with any panel? After all, it basically just contains a switch lever that activates the alarm, right? Or is it more advanced than that?
If it's conventional it's that simple but not if it's a addressable then it needs to be a specific type and specific brand to match the panel for compatibility
Just looking back at these videos because I am going to be installing a FireLite system in my garage. As a start I am going to install two smoke detectors and two heat detectors in the attic. All 4 of those devices will be addressable. The panel will be a FireLite ES-50X. I do have a small server rack with two servers, two network switches. So later I will add a smoke detector/heat detector combo, I believe that is the FSP-951T. Then I have a UPS that has a dry contact terminal on the back so if you short it, it will tell the UPS to do an emergency shutdown. So I might interface a relay module with the UPS so if that detector activates, it will activate that relay module forcing the UPS to shutdown which I think will be awesome! Then for my alarms I will have 2 SCWLs, one P2W, and later a PC2WL, and for my outdoor device that will be a P2WK. All alarms will be System Sensor of course
@@nics-systems-electric It is! The UPS itself is an Emerson Network Power/Vertiv Liebert GXT4-2000RT120. It is a 2kVA UPS with an input of 120 volts and 20 amp service. There is also an air compressor in the building and that is housed in a cabinet. I am thinking of putting a heat or smoke detector and a control module that will shutdown the air compressor if that has a burnout or something like that. Then at some point add a couple of pull stations
Please show us the programming of ALPHA Locations into the system. And please point out on the open panel where a Remote ANN -80 Annunciator would be wired. Thank You
I believe I mentioned it in part one or possibly this one that I wanted to have a class A SLC so I connected the end of the pull station zone to the end of the smoke detector zone for one loop

I guessing that if you want to make it conventional you have to switch one screw from the addressable module to the thermal connected to the switch.
