I put a Mac boom tube on my '08 mustang and you can't tell the difference. She growls at 2000 rpms, and she sings when you get past third gear! The only way you can tell the difference between it and a stock V8 is either pop the hood or notice it's only single exhaust. Plus, I've seen some of the exact same model run for $6000 so it's fairly affordable
People will sell you on the V8 all day and they aren't wrong. However look at it from my perspective. The V6 isn't shy on performance either. Ive been having a great time learning how to mod my car and I don't feel bad for messing anything up because it's only a V6 and at least for me I was able to find one about 10k cheaper than the V8 with under 50k miles. But you should research both cars and then buy the 2020 Shelby cuz that thing is badass.
You'll be surprised that for an every day car that growl and loudness is too much actually. That's a really nice, clean ride. I'd like to do alot of that to my 14 3.7 but don't have the funds. Still I love my car & like what I've done to it so far. Tis no slouch 😉👍🏁😎
Raiti's Rides lol just had it dyno’d last month, I was in between because the shop that did the work told me that as it was running it was making 500 horsepower to the crank, on 7psi max, but they said I could run it on 10 psi and make 490 to the wheels. I am still on 7 psi for now and am, sadly, only making 474 to the tires but I’m still very happy with it! Once I grab some new internals and a one piece aluminum driveshaft I’ll be bringing those pounds up ASAP
Will only sound louder, the stock air cleaner not only takes air from coldest spot (low front area vs a hot engine bay), but was designed to be the most efficient.
Awesome looking mustang. The grabber blue highlights really put the icing on the cake. I’ve got an 07’ but I found myself jealous of yours because the 2013 has some great styling details (especially the front and back) that really do it for me. Great video! I subscribed.
I don’t think some people understand lol. I’m 21 and I bought a v6 2013 Grabber Blue Stang. Why didn’t I buy a V8? Since I’m not 25, the insurance for a V8 in California is well over 5k/yr for full coverage. Who the heck would pay 5k a year for insurance lol.
Exactly man!!!!! It's an insurance thing. I just bought a 2017 EcoBoost Premium and of course I'd love to have a v8. But with insurance and the price difference it's just hard to make that jump.
I too have a V6 Mustang, but mine is a 4.0. The car runs really well and has just 62,000 miles on the odometer. I think the engine is completely stock. Just bought it last week. It is a one owner car. The car also has a 5 speed manual transmission and is fun to drive.
I have a v6 mopar and i love it! So when i hear the signature you should have gotten a v8 i smile because its usually the people who cant see the difference between each mopar model and believe that straight piping any car makes it falter lol so i look at their unispiring none car enthusiasts vehicle example 2016 and below camry SE and i smh and say, you should have got the v6 camry instead.
Thank you so much for sharing you input and perspective! I totally agree with you that you don't have to have the biggest engine to have fun in a car! Thanks for watching!
This was actually a great engine and very respectable on power. Only issue stock was the layout Ford did as far as not letting you utilize the power (with a bad gear ratio, weak driveshaft, etc)
Who is the ya-hoo that doesn’t even watch your videos and posts a thumbs down? When YouYube changes their model and makes this info public that guy is going to feel like a real idiot.
Great Video Raiti. I always wanted the V8. Been putting it off for years. But been thinking, these V6's are getting cheap, and would be fun to tinker in the garage!! Mine would be white body and murdered out everywhere else. A clean sleeper. I subscribed my friend.
I currently own a 2008 4.0L V6 Mustang (Base Model) and I live in California!...So every Mod that's done to the engine has to be 50 State Street Legal with a CARB EO #! So we are Limited to our Engine Mods! Now I remember that Shelby American had built a Limited # of 2011-2012 Shelby GTS V6 (3.7L) that was powered by a 475HP with 450 lb.-ft. of torque Pro-Charger S/C but they were only 49 State Street Legal! So I found out that Vortech makes a 50 State Street Legal S/C thats rated at 330HP/337 Lb/Ft Torque for the 2005 - 2008 4.0L V6 Mustangs and with a CARB EO # D-213-27! Now my 08 V6 Mustang has a 5sp Automatic, but I would like do a 2015+ 5.0L Coyote engine swap with the newer 6R80 6sp Auto Trans maybe down the road!...I am Just Saying!..God Bless!
While the Mustang has dropped the V6. The Ford V6 is still used on other models of the ford family. The base F150 has the 3.3L variant. And the 3.7L is used in the Lincoln and Ford Interceptor police cars. And the 3.5L with twin turbos is under the Ecoboost family for the F150 Raptor and Ford GT. I'm not sure the prices of insurances for V6 vs V8 and 4 bangers. But i am pretty sure the Ecoboost 2.3L will have the cheapest prem for the Mustang. Nice to see tasteful mods done to the car. Pretty sure we will see more Mustang on the channel.
Lin thanks for you r great input! There are many people taking the 2,3 EcoBoost Mustang and getting some crazy power out of them. I hope I am still bringing the good variety. I don't want to be doing too much of the same car.
We have a 2007 4.0L V6 that runs in the low 11’s Over 500rwhp and 600ft lbs of torque. Has a POWERHOUSE TURBO CHARGER KIT made by Mike Bowen in Gerard, Pennsylvania. The car we call TARA is kept performance by DGR MOTORSPORTS (Dave Guy) in Dillsburg, Pennsylvania. One Of A Kind We like to say Tara is the fastest privately owned 2007 V6 4.0L Mustang!
Don't get me wrong, used to own a 15' V6 Mustang but I never understood why V6 guys put 5k+, maybe 10k+ just to get over 500rwhp. At that point, just buy the GT...wasn't the whole point of the V6 to save money? I doubt most V6 owners have insurance on those extra mods either.
You can make over 600whp from a 3.7 for 6k or less with one of the turbo kits on e85 or stay in the low to mid 500s on a reliable pump gas tune. When i bought my v6 I got it for roughly 13k. Cheapest gt with the same miles at that point was 24k. So I ended up with a v6 with a good amount of interior work, suspension, stereo, brake upgrades, turbo kit, wheels, body upgrades as well as headlight/foglight upgrades for just over 24k. So close to 200whp more than a stock 5.0. But it weighs less cost the same and has a bunch of other work done.
Hit you don’t seem to understand that you can buy the less expensive version and the money you have left over from saving on the MORE expensive version, you can put it into mods to make it perform BETTER
Dad had a foxbody 5.0 . Ever since then i've always wanted a 5.0. The v6 is nice and all but it just doesn't feel right. A v6 will never give you the plessure of stepping on the gas to hear a coyote growl.
Foxbodies are cheap get them now lol i have 2 now and me and my uncle are working on a 351 together my first car was a 5.0 fox and its my favorite car but i need a newer car for mpg and long trips so im selling all three of my mustangs for a newer muscle car not sure what yet
@timmy _ I'm not saying the V6 is a bad car. I'm just saying I like the 5.0 because that's what I was used to seeing as a kid. My concern isn't the performance but the sentimental value of the 5.0 fox body.
@timmy _ i should say my daily is a 2006 v6 which is faster than all three of my running 5.0s and i love the v6 especially the 3.7 but i would rather have a fox because it runs in the family lol
I bought a candy apple mustang v6 o11 but the previous owner put header flowmaster aftermarket headlights gt body kit & rims and now I put a intake Eleanor grill and I'm planing to get some rear louvers is goin look awesome 😸
The Procharger really puts out the power. I had one on my 2004 mustang gt. But if I do it again, I would not go with procharger just because the maintenance of changing the oil in the procharger separately. Also the belt alignment is very touchy. To change the belt requires you to have to remove the procharger. Also it has a scratchy whistle. I thought something was wrong but after investigating its just how they sound. I would definitely go with a top mount supercharger or if a turbo, Hellion makes a very sweet turbo kit producing 600 rwhp. Just my opinion. But very nice mods you have done.
I have a 2011 v6 mustang. I really love the look of a 2013-14 mustang both the v6 and gt. I'll probably save up and later down the road buy another mustang but this time the right style that I really want : 2014 mustang gt
I love how people knock them, but the 3.7 in my 13' mustang is no joke. CAI, BBK throttle body, BBK equal length headers, bama tune. Its will take V8s a good bit of the time. I mean its 200 lbs lighter right from the jump!
Great channel just found you on my recommended I have an s550 3.7 procharged mustang too it’s a fun car have hung in there with 5.0s on Lund tunes. I will eventually take it to the track to see what it has
Also because Superchargers are running off the pulley it mean it take power from the engine, mean the engine is making about 530HP and supercharger take 30HP from that, the crack and the connecting rods see still 530HP. The engine consumes fuel as much as 530HP. So for the same amount of fuel and for the same internal components you can make 530HP with Turbocharger. Because Turbochargers don't take power the engine, but they can not provide instant boost like supercharger.
@@RaitisRides Well, the scat packs, hemi's, SS's and GT Stangs are all frustrated out here. I haven't even spent what they spend on their cars total for mine yet. But my real test came when I race and beat an SL65.... Look that up. V12 twin turbo Mercedes. gapped him 3.5 lengths from 5mph to 140. fun fun fun. When I get done with everything, I should put down between 510 and 540. to the wheels. Stock internals! 12psi...I'm very heavy into the V6. Know just about everything about it and to think that Michael has only 6psi, making 500hp to the motor. Just doesn't sound right. the 50-60% gains is for the 8psi pulley. Not the six. But, it is a nice looking car and I'm sure it's pretty quick. GT fast for sure.
@@brandongarza4562 Well, an engine is a big pump. The faster it can suck, squish, bang and blow the better. So the obvious intake and exhaust is probably the best to start I think. Also, a tune. From there, I believe its a 4.0L v6, so they might make an intake manifold. Also, for headers, I think shorties are better because they give low end grunt and more power through the band. I'm not really looking for just 530hp, I want a good, even, smooth powerband. You know.
The problem is that why would you buy a well known Muscle car in a v6 option (Camaro, Mustang, Challenger) is why people don’t like it. It’s only okay if it isn’t stock (Supercharged, Pro-charged, Turbo’d, Twin Turbo)
I have an auto 2012 v6 and I must say the change of the shifter from being a "T" shape to what it is here, it is not as cool. But I guess it was cheaper for Ford because I know a lot of other cars in their lineup shared the same shifter.

Luis Hernandez I painted it myself by removing the front bumper and the logo from the other side then painting it, it’s actually painted over a layer of plasti dip in case I decide to switch the accents later ;)
The problem in doing this is that the amount you spend to being a V6 to the level of the GT you could have just upgraded and gotten a better platform. Also, the GT comes with a much stronger driveshaft that doesn’t grenade itself after 113mph in addition to stronger transmission internals. The V6 mustang will never sound like a V8 and I am sure owners get sick of everyone showing their initial disappointment when they realize it isn’t a 5.0. By the way, really enjoy your videos. Keep up the good work!
Thank you for the compliment! Trust me you bring up some excellent points! I guess some people want to be different, Makes for great reviews for Raiti's Rides! Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment!
Your math is off buy a calculator. 24k on a new V6 + 6500 installed procharger. Puts you at 30kish. More power lighter car, lower payments, cheaper insurance. Not to mention the uniqueness. I don’t knock a V8 I’ve had 3. But to say this is a waste is just V8 fanboy nonsense. Only on American cars do we hear this V6 is trash nonsense. By your rationale why buy a GT? Should’ve bought a GT350...See it’s a pointless argument.
No it is not! You can add a supercharger to just about anything. The question is do they have a kit to help with installation? If there isn't then there would need to be a bunch of prefab work done!
@@autotrimmers6353 your engine isn't gonna blow as long as u keep it under 450 whp on 93 octane pump gas. U can go to 500-550 if using e85. I would recommend turbos over procharger. $3700 for twins kit vs $6000 for a procharger kit. Cheaper, better, and a lot of people believe to be more reliable. Look up jmpturbo (jm performance turbo kits) on Facebook. Jack can get u set right.
I have an '06 GT Convertible and a '11 V6 (both manual) and they both have 16 Gallon Tanks. I also have a 40,000 Mile per year Commute (The Average Commute in the USA is 10,000 miles). Normally Aspirated, I can CHOKE 24 mpg out of the V8 and the V6 has no problem getting 29 mpg. Do the Math, 5 x 16 is almost exactly one half trip on my 165 mile per day commute or 20% better gas mileage.
Edin M well, I did fudge the numbers but I worked hard and paid for the kit myself. I hadn’t had the car placed on the dyno and was using numbers from pro chargers site compared with numbers the installation team had given me. It was a rookie mistake I’m sure, but hey regardless it still makes plenty of power

The stick shift is easy to use in these (V6 and GT), has a very smooth clutch with good feel (both the 3.7 and the Coyote use the same manual transmission, the MT82; while the Shelby GT500 used the Tremec TR6060, which is notchier and has a heavy clutch in that model)

Exactly man!!!!! It's an insurance thing. I just bought a 2017 EcoBoost Premium and of course I'd love to have a v8. But with insurance and the price difference it's just hard to make that jump.
I was 19 with a 5.0 better get on mom or grand moms insurance lol
Bought 2014 gt at 19yr old in wisconsin my insurance was 2.1k a year not bad still on parents insurance muahaha

@@RaitisRides thanks i look forward to your vids keep up the good work
That really means a lot!
People always forget to get big boy brakes when you start reaching big boy power.
Very true!
True. From what o been seeing they make them for fronts but not rear
This was actually a great engine and very respectable on power. Only issue stock was the layout Ford did as far as not letting you utilize the power (with a bad gear ratio, weak driveshaft, etc)
I've heard that replacing the stock steel driveshaft with a lighter titanium driveshaft also improves performance
Who is the ya-hoo that doesn’t even watch your videos and posts a thumbs down? When YouYube changes their model and makes this info public that guy is going to feel like a real idiot.
Double G I notice there is always 1 thumbs down?
I always wonder this as well. I try to not let it get to me and just stay focused on doing my best!
It's weird some people I think just like doing it just to do it.
Even a thumbs down helps your ratings according to youtube. :)
mcgeechan6600 I’ll take it anyway I can get it!😊👍🏻
Great Video Raiti. I always wanted the V8. Been putting it off for years. But been thinking, these V6's are getting cheap, and would be fun to tinker in the garage!! Mine would be white body and murdered out everywhere else. A clean sleeper. I subscribed my friend.
Is that a Procharged 3.7 liter V6?!
They can make good power under boost!
trtlepwr yes it is!
Cowabunga
Did you even watch the video ffs?
Nope. It's completely stock.
It's beautiful, well done! Only downside is that it's automatic
I'm so glad that you enjoyed this one! I would prefer a manual myself but at least there are options!

Thank you so much for sharing that info from your experience! I really appreciate you watching!
The 3.7 is a stout little motor. On boost they can run with anything and be super fun.
So very true!
Love the video and the great content !! ! ! 😎👌🏻
Thank you so much for taking the time to say that! I really appreciate you watching and your support!
Thank you for upgrading the center console too many owners leave it alone
That is a very good point! Thank you so much for watching!
The car looks amazing. I'm sure it's pretty dam fast as well, but I'm old school. I need that V8 growl or I go limp...
There are many that would say the same thing! I totally understand where you are coming from! Thanks for taking the time to watch!
Honestly sounds kind of like a Ferrari. That pitch is high but super clear and nice !!
I am so glad that you liked this one! It was a lot of fun to review!
Raiti's Rides haha I own a v6 so I appreciate these reviews
Of course! Stay tuned because I will have more to come!
We have a 2007 4.0L V6 that runs in the low 11’s
Over 500rwhp and 600ft lbs of torque.
Has a POWERHOUSE TURBO CHARGER KIT made by Mike Bowen in Gerard, Pennsylvania.
The car we call TARA is kept performance by DGR MOTORSPORTS (Dave Guy) in Dillsburg, Pennsylvania.
One Of A Kind
We like to say Tara is the fastest privately owned 2007 V6 4.0L Mustang!
Respect to your self Joe and young lad with his Mustang ,but still having the Big Block mate 👍
Still a fan of your reviews Thank you!
Sweet ride and it sounds amazing for a v-6
Yeah that axle back exhaust sounds really good!
Raiti's Rides i agree
kg the great one 👍🏻
Nice review, man. Ignore the negative comments and keep doing your thing 💪😎
You bring up some valid points and I appreciate you sharing your perspective!
@@DOHCCordia damn this guy got it right on! Also insurance is usually killer.
Dad had a foxbody 5.0 . Ever since then i've always wanted a 5.0. The v6 is nice and all but it just doesn't feel right. A v6 will never give you the plessure of stepping on the gas to hear a coyote growl.
Thank you so much for sharing your input and perspective I really appreciate you watching!
Feels right? My 13 V6 is faster than a 10 GT.
Damn that thing is clean 🧼 🧽
I am so glad that you liked it! Thanks for watching!
I love the 3.7, picked up an 11 in the grabber blue with the manual. Can’t wait to start customizing it. Dudes got an amazing ride!
I am so glad that you liked this one! You got a great color for the Mustang! Congrats and keep me in the loop of how it goes!
I love your Channel Bro!! You definitely Rock

He has a very clean and mean car. If he ports his intake he is going to really be a beast.
Devin Crave more mods are coming! I’m hoping we get a part 2 to Raiti’s Rides!
Where can i buy those wheels? Also what size are they? They look badass
I bought a candy apple mustang v6 o11 but the previous owner put header flowmaster aftermarket headlights gt body kit & rims and now I put a intake Eleanor grill and I'm planing to get some rear louvers is goin look awesome 😸

@@RaitisRides Any time Max!
I’d like to see this against my FBO ‘17 GT. I’m at 3480 pounds and I’m making about the same power with the ported ‘18 manifold.
I wish we could set that up!
This may be a dumb question but is there a way to play music via a phone charger port
Now that I know of.
Review a 2013 Mustang Boss 302 , if you can find one
I would love to! Hopefully I come around one soon!
He should review mine
I have a 2011 v6 mustang.
I really love the look of a 2013-14 mustang both the v6 and gt.
I'll probably save up and later down the road buy another mustang but this time the right style that I really want : 2014 mustang gt
awesome review. ....so then this v6 will beat that orange daytona v8 charger that u reviewed in a race?
Yes it should! It would be a very interesting race!
true.......good reviews man
2012 mustang best love driveing it
Can we see a 10th gen ford Tbird? The refresh models '94-97
I love how people knock them, but the 3.7 in my 13' mustang is no joke. CAI, BBK throttle body, BBK equal length headers, bama tune. Its will take V8s a good bit of the time. I mean its 200 lbs lighter right from the jump!
That's one sick 3.7
It really is amazing especially with the procharger under the hood.
Nice ride, sounds like a European V8 engine.
Thank you for letting me share it with you!
Just took my procharger off of my '11 by, going turbo now 😏
Really? How come? I would love to review that!
Sick it sounds good
I really thought so too! Especially when we did some doughnuts! :-)
Raiti's Rides sounds way better than eco boost 4 cylinder 👍🏻
Oh by far!
By a chance can you link the mods to this car like the lights and more?
Great channel just found you on my recommended I have an s550 3.7 procharged mustang too it’s a fun car have hung in there with 5.0s on Lund tunes. I will eventually take it to the track to see what it has
Thank you so much for finding us! I appreciate you joining this journey with me! Let me know how she does at the track.
Raiti's Rides I sure will thank you
Awesome!
My 2017 3.7 makes 460 to the wheels. Plenty of mods though. soon, I'll be changing the 8lb pulley to the 12lb pulley. serious power.
That sounds like a wild ride!
@@twillowb Just bought a 2010 mustang V6. First mod recommendations? Its bone stock 40k miles
You know.
Is the 3.7 actually a coyote 5.0 with two cylinders shaved off?
No, totally different block.
No, it's on the same block as the 3.5 litre Duratec V6; while the Coyote is loosely based on the modular V8 (aka 4.6/5.4/6.8 V10)
I love the mustang this makes my top V6 engines list but where the sway bar at 😐😬
Nvm I see the auto and I’m out of here now
Thank for watching! I really appreciate your input and perspective!
feel free to come back anytime!
You mean strut tower bar? They arent truly needed on s197s.
I have the same car and engine 2013 3.7 Coyote. Did you have to do anything to the transmission or the crank shaft?
The pro charger is a centrifugal supercharger?
Have you ever done a review on a 5th Gen V6 Pro-charged Camaro? I’d love to see that.
The 3.7 procharger on engine is why they are called gt killers lol
You git that right!
I owned a 2014 3.7 and I thought I was a great car.I put Borla axle backs and an MPT tune and that thing would bark!
Thank you so much for sharing your input from your personal perspective!
ya lol 2014 is like the best looking
It was a great bear!
So what happens when u get into an accident and the insurance doesn’t know you had a full procharger kit ?
Then you are kind of stuck!
The problem is that why would you buy a well known Muscle car in a v6 option (Camaro, Mustang, Challenger) is why people don’t like it. It’s only okay if it isn’t stock (Supercharged, Pro-charged, Turbo’d, Twin Turbo)
I can understand where you are coming from!
Because we like the car goofball. Nothing wrong with a V6.
I have an auto 2012 v6 and I must say the change of the shifter from being a "T" shape to what it is here, it is not as cool. But I guess it was cheaper for Ford because I know a lot of other cars in their lineup shared the same shifter.
thx for the vid, gives me plenty ideas for future stuff on mine
Thank you so very much! I am so glad that you enjoyed it!

How much would the mods cost and how much would you save on insurance?
great job showing off a v6 but idk, too much going on with the exterior and still is a v6. keep the videos coming tho
That is really great of you to say! I appreciate your support and taking the time to watch!
Where can I get a grille like this?
Try CJ Pony Parts!
The Duratec37 is pretty stout motor. Kudos to the guy being different. Now, those brakes...
Thank you for your input and perspective! The coming about the brakes cracked me up
Your math is off buy a calculator. Should’ve bought a GT350...See it’s a pointless argument.
greyghost3.7 thank you for sharing your perspective.
is that the same engine that Lincoln mkz and mks has? Can you pro charge those?
No it is not! You can add a supercharger to just about anything. The question is do they have a kit to help with installation? If there isn't then there would need to be a bunch of prefab work done!
That blue kills it. The car is great though.
AGREED!
hey man I have a 14 v6 with 80k miles u recommend me procharging it? I have bolt ons like bbk headers, full exhaust, CAÍ, and Ghost Tune??
If it is done rigt there really shouldn't be any issues. How is the car running as of right now?
Raiti's Rides it’s running good I’m just worried of my engine blowing up
@@autotrimmers6353 your engine isn't gonna blow as long as u keep it under 450 whp on 93 octane pump gas.
Chris Chreene thanks bud
Chris a good turbo kit is safe on pump gas in the low 500s. E85 theres several guys holding together just fine decently over 600whp.
That cars well done. Look great.
Thank you for letting me share it with you!
Beautiful car
5:36 500hp to the crank = 490 to the wheels 😂😂😂😂😂
Yeah the owner fudged the numbers.
I was thinking the same thing. Glad someone else pointed that out. Fudged the numbers up cause daddy bought it all.
Trust me I've learned my lesson and now don't believe it until I see it.
Thanks for posting! How is the car running?
The content is good, but it would be better if the brightness was lowered a bit. I just wanna see those stripes etc...
Thank you so much for your input! This video is a few months old right when I switched to a new camera so were were working out some of the kinks. I appreciate your support!
I am thinking about buying me a 2011-2014 V6 Mustang. Would you recommend a manual or automatic? I do want to run this Pro-Charger setup.
It really is up to your preference! Do you know how to drive stick?
Raiti's Rides Nope but I want to learn and use one.
I think that is a great idea! The car will be more engaging to drive!
FirebirdCamaro1220 How about the S550 2015+? I heard it’s the same gearbox with a few tweaks.
