Worst idea ive ever heard of those business’ suck super high overhead in employees and space and people only do it for special occasions when the economy is good.
Brandon, I've been here since the very first laundromat. The way you speak about the restaurant being $20 a person & the way you speak about not splurging on a tesla yet. Let me tell you... You are so humble my friend. When i was a kid growing up dirt poor around rich people on Lake Oconee. I learned you can normally tell the people who earned their money vs those who had money left to them. The ones who earned their money tend to treat others better, without looking down on them. So if someone looks down on you for driving a 3k vehicle.... That's their loss. I appreciate all you do, and thanks for taking us on the journey with you. 💯
I drove various JLG models before breaking my back and I highly recommend them for so many reasons, parts, service, quality. They rent most equipment and things made to be rented ... they just shine. Good choice.
It's not only starting it but operating it that would be a challenge. Cars that old, like the Model T, have a different arrangement of the pedals that you are used to. There's a learning curve in learning how to operate them.
@@InvestmentJoy For a train station, you need to have one train. Or it's just not worth it. With a train and carriages you can convert it to something that will attract people like museum with a restaurant. But to start with, it's still a niche business.
Brandon! If you get the Jail, your one step closer to real life MONOPLY!! LOL!! You just need to buy motels, some utilities, ect. You already own railroad, apartments as well as an assortment of properties that are on the board already! Water utitlies can be the Laudrymat. Has anyone ever approached you with a personalized "Investment Joy Monopoly?" You could give one away after every training course!
Honestly depending on how big the cells are you can probably buy it and convert it into apartments. Idk anything about the legality or laws regarding how your allowed to build apartments in your area but that would be one idea. Would it be expensive to convert the jail to livable apartments? Oh hell yes no doubt about it. Would you be able to charge a lot for each apartment if done? Eh honestly I don’t know, I mean again depending on how big the individual cells are you may only be able to rent them as studio apartments. You know depending on how big your able to extend those cells. But then again there are always people looking for affordable apartments so I think you’ll have a easy time finding tenants
Private prisoner transport and housing are a thing. An over flow facility for neighboring counties…For profit correctional services has a long list of legalities and ethical question marks. Wonder what they will turn the space into, recertifying a grandfathered facility with a state jail standards office…isn’t likely. A complete tear out is the most likely thing. Stripping the old facility of anything useable and putting it in a state surplus yard is how a lot of states handle old prisons and jails while selling off or reusing the raw building.
Find out what the insurance wants for a buy back on the dump truck. It may be extremely cheap for you to buy it back and have the dump body pulled off to installed on a new cab& chassis truck. Unless you want the big bill for a new truck complete as a write off. I had a truck struck while parked, the insurance gave me full market value and the buy back was only 15% of the market value. So I got a nice check, bought the truck back for very cheap money then stripped it of every useable part that could be sold. In the I double the money of the pay out.
