I think ghostemane is an acquired taste, I didn't like 'em at first but the more I listen to him the better it gets, now I'm balls deep in his songs definitely one of my favorite artists

idk man, i fall in love with him music the fist time i've hear him
was the same for me. at first I liked about 1-2 songs from him and everything else was kinda "meh" to me and now I absolutely love basically every song and listen to him all the time :)

Buuut, if this had of released after Mechanical Animals it would have been all good. Manson pretty much 'sold out' at that point.

@@smbmxdirt3427 they sure did...the biggest one they tried to pin MM with was the Columbine shooting. Smh....when it had nothing to do with him at all. He even canceled shows near Columbine out of respect for the victims which was super cool. Even though it had nothing to do with him.
If you liked the industrial kinda sound 'Hydrochloride' is a great song for that, and also you need to listen to 'Carbomb' it's from their EP 'Fear Network' and it's straight up hardcore metal, also other great suggestions are 'Nihil' and 'D(r)own'

I think his latest album "anti icon" is a great experience to listen to on one sitting. Good transitions, great mix. No song worth skipping.
Of course if you want more metal stuff his hardcore ep "fear network 1" is really good and his baader meinhof black metal projects are good.
I actually love how this guy actually gives his honest opinion and I really respect that! Some youtubers they probally don't give their honest opinion because they dont wanna make people mad, especially the fans of who they are reacting to mad. I love Ghostmane's music and again I love how he gives his honest opninion which I respect. Everyone has their own music taste and opinion:)
yeah man, I've noticed most old school metal fans aren't into trap metal. I grew up on death metal, but kinda veered away from it for a while. so to me trap metal was great. But a lot of the people still into classical metal aren't into rap, so they're not gonna like the fusion
Yeah some other "metal head reacts" videos felt like they were sugarcoating their reactions and conclusions, but i really just wanted to know what the metal scene thinks about ghostmane music as someone who is very new to metal and coming from ghostemane.

He has some interesting side projects as well. He is definitely musically gifted. Different, but immensely gifted.
Honestly that’s how I got into Ghostemane was a festival and I enjoyed him so I binged his music.
But some songs I think you’d enjoy more by him would be Flesh, possibly Dread, Vagabond and maybe just maybe Bonesaw. Bonesaw is a bit different ere it’s mainly trap but with screaming.
Dread, Vagabond and Flesh have metal instruments but of course for his songs they’re relatively short compared to the trap part.
I agree with you! I couldn’t handle him at first, but the more I listened and swam through his music, I was hooked! I absolutely love his style, and his vocal flows🤍
his song hydrochloride from the same album is mostly industrial metal and no trap rapping, his best song in my opinion.

I got into ghostemane by his NOISE album. Its amazing and a great way to get into him. From there i apprwciated his music more
I didn't care for ghostemane, but then I started listening to him anyway, and now he's my favorite.

You should check out Squeeze and Mercury Retrograde by Ghostemane they hit so hard with the bass!
Fed Up was okay-ish.
Lazaretto was very good. Mickey Mouse though didn't feel so good in the end.
AI was sorta okay though the music video was really good. A mixture of ye old 30s cartoons with some stop-motion animation molded together (maybe inspired by Tim Burton due to the dark, creepy vibe).
Imo al is also very good but not as good as lazaretto and hydrochlorine

I like your honest opinion of Ghostmane, gonna check him out even though it's not really my cup of tea. Check out Vale of Pnath, either The Darkest Gate or Skin Turned Soil from their EP called Accursed. Blackened technical death metal. If they continue on that path I think they can become really good.
