The thing Social Media companies don’t want you to know is that there is no “product safety” warning or “data transparency” because the data of users themselves is the product.

One of the hardest realities of social media is the revelation that a large proportion of people will only talk to you if they feel you will serve their political narrative. G.K. Chesterton once said, "Evil always takes advantage of ambiguity." This is why G.K. Chesterton talked to everyone.
I think we're all a little bit to blame. But once evil hatred sparks, you have to actively resist the evil lest it develops a devilish mind of its own. Years ago I tried to be 'understanding' and see others perspectives. But in doing so I found my own faith was left compromised. I held the view that our faith was a gift from God, that we were pregnant with Christ as we made Christ visible for the whole world to see. But the more 'understanding' I was, the more I found my faith was compromised by the destruction of those who despised the seed Christ within me.
We are not Christ. But we reflect Christ deeply in the way we live our faith. Once we authentically align our our faith according to the gifts of the Holy Spirit, all of our lively virtues will be in True Alignment again: chastity, temperance, charity, diligence, patience, kindness, and humility -- perfected as Christ is perfect. ❤

Social media ain't doing a damn thing to me because i'm not on any of those crap. I'm not caught up in all those trends and posting myself every five minutes and I happen to enjoy my privacy. Funny how some think I don't have a life because i'm not on Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat or whatever.

Portents need to talk to kids about the “down side of social media “ and explain to kids there is a life outside of social media plus all what you see or read isn’t always true in this day and age photos can be fixed to make someone perfect but in real life doesn’t work that way !? Same applies to celebrities they have a team of people to make them look amazing, kids need to understand that , same was the issue in my teenage years when we see celebrities in magazines also models on ads but my parents would explain about how they have a team to make them look that way , if any young people reading this if someone said something nasty about your don’t answer as that’s what they want report block ! Social media can be fun , yes understand we live in the digital age but can’t let social media take over our lives and that includes all ages

Social media for many children is associated with increased risk. Many cases comtributing to their sense of loneliness. Social media thay makes them feel worse about their friendship that they can't get off of it. and thats really important fpr us to talk about l

"Social media is a double-edged sword, capable of both controlling and empowering individuals. It can be a dangerous tool, fueling misinformation and manipulation, while also serving as a valuable platform for communication and knowledge sharing. With its vast reach and access to an extensive library of knowledge, social media presents us with opportunities and risks that demand critical awareness and responsible use."

Ban TV-14 for teenagers as well. Make TV-14 18+. There is absolutely no reason for a teen to watch TV-14. It’s not just social media. 14+ is in the name and it is 14+ but many TV-14 shows absolutely are NOT suitable for teenagers. We need to protect our children. Stop exposing children to mature content.
