Look at all that snow! I wish I was there. I love the sound of crunching snow under the snow shoes. I'm glad you did it Shinichi, such a wonderful experience. And I loved the ski cam Satoshi. ⛷😊
Awesome to be part of your adventure into the mountain. :) I also just have to say that I am so proud of Satoshi that it brings me to tears. With each new video I realize how proficient he has become at speaking English but also how much he has gotten over shyness. Get it, Satoshi!!
What a gorgeous, exhilarating video!! I LOVE snowshoeing! As Satoshi said, it's a very freeing experience to walk over fences and other barriers and to see the world from a different vantage point. Shinichi--you did GREAT!!! Satoshi's short ski-cam footage was magical. You need to have a skiing holiday every year, Satoshi--one can see how much you enjoy it! I love cross-country skiing--I'll have to google whether the ski resorts in Japan have trails for that. The shops were chock full of interesting handmade items. And, as usual, the food looked scrumptious. All the colorful, locally grown, organic vegetables particularly enticed me. I was enthralled by Satoshi's story of the respectful dango offerings--so beautifully Japanese in sentiment. This kind of detail really pulls me in. Thank you SO much for this video. I adored this combination of sport and exploring. ❤️❤️
Your on top of the world.Satoshi and Shinichi great views from Mt Daisen. Great review on your the curry very nice , but your reaction to the manderin 🍡 dango was priceless . The town is gorgeous tourists would definitely flock there for skiing ⛷️ thanks for the beautiful tour .🤗💛👍
>> lol LOL ....I had to laugh when I saw Satoshi and Saneechi heading on up to the snowy mountains to be in the snow and ice and...SKi !! ! - - lol ....good luck with THAT Shaneechi ! - -- lol....We all know the trouble he has on a tiny bit of ice....lol....and...Sanoshi ! - - WOW Are you such an excellent skier ! !!! - Blow my mind ! - The way you came down that snow hill so gracefully ! - - I always wanted to try skiing ! .... On a small hill that is - - lol -
Loved this one very much! Satoshi's explanation of why the dango was made that way on seperate sticks all being. I have found being of chinese descent that a lot of thought goes into making certain dishes or using special ingredients to make the most delicious and sometimes simple meals etc., Such things like the actual number of ingredients and the size or length of items all puts that twist on lots of Asian cuisine. There is a lot of meaning to what is used, absolutely fascinating and educational. I still have a lot to learn in my old age! Keep up the excellent content Shinichi and Satoshi!
Sehr gut gemeistert Shinishi 👍🏼 Wieder etwas was du geschafft hast obwohl du Angst davor hattest. Einfach Klasse! 👏🏻 Ich finde es so toll wie viel Freude Satoshi hat wenn er Skifahren kann. Einfach wunderschön. Ihr seid die besten! 🙏🏼🌺🥰
Beautiful views and such a great trip outdoors! I am loving all your vlogs of Japan and sharing with my son, he is 30 and attended Sophia Uni when he was 17yrs and learned to speak Japanese. He's fluent and wants to live there one day. All our ancestors from my dad's side come from Kumamoto, my mom's side is from Yamagata. Thanks for sharing all the food experiences as well! Great love sent to you both from Maui Hawaii!
Thanks chaps your videos are going from strength to strength. It was all wonderful, the views stunning and the food delectable. Another destination to add to my to-go list 👍
The snow scenes so beautiful. The quality and filming was amazing in the entire video. Seeing you guys enjoy the snow and foods so much made me happy! Thanks Shinichi & Satoshi!💝
In English we call the little "green sprouts" on top of Satoshi's curry "cress" and it is very easy to grow and very healthy! The curries look so delicious, I adore Japanese style curry
Spouts and cress are different plants. But I guess there is a vendiagram and you could eat the spout of a cress. Cress is a plant where you eat the mature plant but it is delicate, grows as weeds in a lot of places and is a great foragable. Sprouts are literally sprouts of other plants such as broccoli, kale, almost anyone in the brassica family.
@@cantsay I said "sprouts" in my post because he called them sprouts because he didn't know what they were called in English. I know the difference between sprouts and cress otherwise if that helps
You have such a beautiful nature around there in Japan, it never cease's to amaze me! You have a sea, mountains, forests, rivers.. pretty much everything, it's wonderful! 😍
I appreciate you both! My Hubs and I are trying to plan our trip to Japan for our 15th anniversary in a few years, and your posts have added so many options! I can't wait! It's going to be a month long trip of a lifetime!
Love you Satoshi! You guys are my go to to watch and leave in the back ground to sleep to, as the vibes and volume is easing and relaxing. Best Japanese youtube channel!
Thank you for wonderful video. Also I have to you guys credit for getting me interested in veggies. Always hated them until I watched your videos. Also shinichi get yourself a ceramic piece on each of your trips. That makes a real souvenir lol
Wow, what a beautiful view to see as you were walking in the snow. The ox was so cute peeking out of the snow. The view is worth walking up to see. I am glad they something for non-skiers. The dango looked so delicious. I love yomogi mochi. Your faces say it all for the mikan dango.
I remember watching old movies where the snow shoes look like tennis rackets attached to their feet! I guess the snow show designs are different nowdays. Anyways, thanks guys for showing us Mt Daison!
Hi! New subscriber here! My mom, daughter, and I have been binge watching your videos. Especially any in Okinawa. I grew up in Okinawa and miss it very much. Moved to the US in 93, I was 7. Anyways, I was wondering if you have covered Morikawa Park in Okinawa. I have SOOOO many memories there. We have lots of pictures on the big slides! Anyways, love your channel and I look forward to every notification 😁🖤🖤
How interesting that Temples also offer accomodations.I find so many similarities between Japanese and Indian temple worship...and that thwy are majorly pantheistic.
So stunning this area😍I always wanted to go to Tottori one time. The famous sand dunes are there if I remember correctly. The food looks delicious. Never thought to put kabu in curry. Lovely stores. I really miss such stores. You just grabbed the mug I loved from teh moment I saw it in the video :)
The prawn curry reminds me of Bengali Prawn Malai(coconut cream) curry, even the copper utensils are very traditional to Bengalis. The chicken curry looks as yummy as Bengali Kosha Manghsho. It all looks very yummy! Nice seeing you guys travelling and exploring more these days
I've only recently realized that these videos come with Japanese subtitles and that they're great for reading excercises.
