So I recently head up north of Osaka to Tottori to check out Daisen National Park in all it's autumn glory. It was cold, misty, windy and worth every single shiver. Highly recommended.

Ha! I was in a sake tour in the mountains of Tokyo around December last year. It was pretty cold and there were a group of Aussies in the group. They handled the cold quite well
what's worse is a Queenslander trying to handle the cold weather.

The last three or four having titles starting with ..."Solo..." are really excellent. Good story telling, solid video composition, sensitive editing. There is a silver lining to ...solo and being in Japan in 2020.

...and don't fly your drone over the clouds... it may refuse to land because of the bottom sensors...until the battery is depleted ... when it will come back pretty fast 😱. It is a classic for DJI drones.

There are always some goosebump worthy scenes in your videos and I’m all up for it.7:35 - 8:30 was definitely the one for me with the music elevated, the buildup, the scenes, the Colors.....that was mesmerising and of course, I had goosebump watching it. Very nice video, great fall colors, 🍂Who knew Japan has so many great hiking trails and mountains, I live on the Olympic Peninsula of Washington State USA with many great hiking trails also, but not so many people. You can hike all day a not see another soul. I watch several UA-camr travelers but I thinks some of your videos are the best on UA-cam. Thanks again and keep the great videos coming. ☝

great video! love it. good editing and filming too. i'm also a solo female traveler and i've traveled to 140 countries, but i found it very hard to film my UA-cam videos when i travel alone. How did you film this video? the footage is very good. some of the footage showing you are far away from the camera too

You made it quite easy for us on this one. My guess: Basically every scene with clean ambient audio (wind, water splashing, etc.) is made with audiosamples from Storyblocks i guess.
Those drone shots with the sun light washing over the shadowed valleys was stunning. Bugger the audio - if you hadn't told me you had subbed in audio effects, most of us who love your content anyway would simple accept that dealing with the elements is just part of film making! Kinda liked the phone audio improv anyway - added to the mood. Keep up the wonderful videos for those of us who can't yet head back. Hurry up with the next one!

Dude, get some walking poles - you won't regret it once you learn to use them properly - I used to think they were for older people but when you're doing proper hiking the benefit is enormous - it pains me to see people hiking without them. Lovely shots btw :)

The moment you express joy on your face as you witness the the sun breaking through the mist and haze, to bathe the mountains in soft ethereal light. I felt it too. Your film making is superb. The piano notes, seemingly timed with your steps, building to a crescendo as the sun breaks through, your face captured on video, showing genuine emotion, happiness. Extraordinary. Hannah, (my great grandmother's name also) my face always hurts after watching your videos. They make me smile so much! Great drone shots and Tottori is SO underrated and underrepresented. It would be nice to see some interaction with the people who are making the trek with you, like a short interview about why they are doing it and what it means to them

It must have been a bit disappointing to have the view on the hike up shrouded in fog, but it still looked absolutely magical because I LOVe fog :D! I was so happy when the weather cleared up at the summit! Thank you for going through that effort and sharing this with us! I'm planning to go to Japan in 2.5 years myself, so I can't wait to go explore the land, too! Your videos are the best possible thing to tide me over until then!
When I was a kid, everytime my dad sent to Japan to visit the HQ, when he gets back from that trip and showed me those pictures of beautiful places in Japan, since
then, till now I still in love with this country!
