Thanks for this.... especially demonstrating how to purl. I'm just beginning to learn knitting and I understand a purl stitch is basically the opposite of a knit stitch and I've used "slip purl wise" in my one and only knit project so far but I've never done purl stitches. I will definitely be referencing this video because you demonstrate it's much easier than I could've ever imagined. Now if only I can train my brain to make my right hand (instead of my left hand) hold onto my yarn.😄
    Thank you very much! ❤😊

Beautiful, I’ve been wanting to knit the fisherman ribb stitch scarf for awhile now. Thankyou I’ll give it a try. Can you also show how to knit the matching hat, will be greatly appreciated. 😊

Is there any way to read your knitting in the round to know if you are on row 1 or row 2 since there is not right side and wrong side? ... and thank you for a wonderful, clear video.

I always use a slip marker. It can be a plastic one or a loop made with yarn.

    Bonjour Joanne
I understand your rib stitch but I wonder what is the point of making double stitches 1 over 2?
Are these ribs as elastic as normal? Last question: does it require more wool ? 👋 signed Maïrenui

Fisherman's rib is an elastic stitch. Made for warm sweaters, hats, gloves, etc. The Stitch becomes double and very thick
