I lived in Aberdeen for 13 months. I felt at home for the first time. I made so many dear friends. Returned home to Texas USA, in 1991. I still miss the beauty.

So many people say that about our wee country, so small but so special, that's why we fought so hard to keep it 😂...some say people don't choose Scotland she chooses you, once she's in your heart you'll always be sad to leave, maybe you were home ❤
i showed this video to my parents i love scotland. i come to know about this country by loudhouse cartoon. i love that cartoon and wants to visit scotland when i will be grown up . love from Nepal.
Your great documentary video informs & inspires people all over the world. May peace & prosperity, come to Scotland, Scottish & people around the world.
Beautiful Scotland, very impressive place to visit. Warm greetings from the beautiful romantic island 🏝of Kauai, Hawaii located in the middle pacific ocean, very remote island the best climate in the world 🌎 one of the most beautiful and peaceful island. Thanks for sharing
Scotland has always fascinated me with its intriguing area in the north of the United Kingdom. Celtic myths and traditions abound in this area of lush hills, desolate peaks, mystical lakes, and great castles.
Well presented and produced throughout Scotland but some of the main cities such Glasgow, Aberdeen, Stirling,Perth, and Dundee are missing for complete vacation guide to be explored. 💂
Mohamed Azmerdeen I agree my family, my maiden name is Bell were from the Borders and later from Glasgow/Paisley they missed a lot of Scottish history by not mentioning those areas. Overall all it was a very good and informative and visually lovely video.
@@patriciayohn6136 Patricia Yohn yes that's fine I just mentioned the main cities of Scotland were out of the guide but overall it's well presented visually and edited with good sound mixing. I love Scotland been there twice it has unique landscape and rich in heritage and history.💂🏴🏴🏴🏴🏴
Scotland homeland of my ancestors and my people. A place of Ancient Traditions, Culture, Legacy, Heritage, And History. Filled with torism hospiality family values and more
I just finished my travel by watching this video. I do not have enough financial ability to go Scotland . I hope one day I will be able to go there. :( thanks guys U guys are amazing . & this video is satisfactory for me .
Loch Ness is in fact 230m deep, or a bit less. Second deepest after Loch Morar at over 300m (but surprisingly less than 10m above the sea) which is also alleged to have a monster.
Still in time fans, for sharing new Christmas gifts suggestions, trips abroad are my favorite ones, unforgettable, such videos are helping a lot, hoping invisible cyber audience is next to us to enjoy the inspiration
Lovely Scotland, but...no one word about scottish national hero William Wallace and, at least, invitation to tourists to visit his monument at Stirling.
EXCELLENT VIDEO. EXCELLENT NARRATION. LOVED EVERY BIT. SCOTLAND IS INDEED ABUNDANT WITH NATURE'S BOUNTIES, AND EQUALLY ADMIRABLE IS THE FACT THAT NATURE HAS NOT BEEN BLEMISHED BY OVER ZEALOUS HUMANS, AND EVERTHING SCOTTISH HAS BEEN RETAINED IN IT'S P R I S T I N E STATE. A MUST VISIT ON A TRAVELLER'S ITINERARY.
Mary did have a son. His Name was James and he was born in Edinburgh castle. He later became heir of Scotland and England because Elizabeth I of England (Tudor) named him her heir too, as she never married and had no children of her own. Mary was the cousin of Elizabeth. 😊😉 Awesome video though! 😍
Learmonth Gardens is a quiet street in the respectable district of Comely Bank in Edinburgh. But one of its houses has a disturbing history. In the mid 1930s, the house was occupied by a baronet, Sir Alexander Seton, and his family. The family took a trip to Egypt and brought back a souvenir that they would later regret ever having set eyes upon. The trip to Egypt incorporated a visit to the Temple of Luxor and in spite of the fact that it was illegal to remove anything from the tombs, Lady Seton picked up a small bone as a memento and brought it back to Scotland with her. The bone was placed in a glass case in the dining room. The family had hardly settled back into normal life when strange and disturbing things started to happen. Crashing sounds were heard and furniture was found in disarray. Ornaments were found broken in rooms that had been empty. Lady Seton fell suddenly and inexplicably ill with a mystery complaint. Time and time again, the family were disturbed by strange occurrences which had no explanation at all. Strangest of all was a ghostly figure in long robes that appeared in the house to several people, residents and visitors alike. Servants of the family became unnerved and sought employment elsewhere. At one point Sir Alexander lent the bone to a scientist friend and the ghost disappeared from Learmonth Gardens, only to be seen in the home of his friend. Such a story could not remain a secret long, and soon the Edinburgh newspapers were full of stories of the ‘Curse of the Pharaoh’ as they called it. The bone was returned to Learmonth Gardens and once more the furniture seemed to take on a life of its own. Sir Alexander himself became ill and eventually surrendered the bone to a priest. The bone was exhumed and then burnt and thankfully the torment came to an end.
Does anyone know the name of the song they played in the first part of the video? My son is obsessed with Scotland 🏴 and would love to know. Thank you
The Church of St John the Evangelist, is a Scottish Episcopal church in the centre of Edinburgh. It is sited at the west end of Princes Street at its junction with Lothian Road, and is protected as a category A listed building. On the left as you go in the door is a plaque for a John Stuart Forbes (J S Hiley) who had to leave Edinburgh in disgrace and ended up in America and his bad luck followed him as he joined the US Cavalry and landed in the 7th and went down with General Custer at the Battle of Little Big Horn. The grandfather of American folk singer Joan Baez, William Henry Bridge was Minister here and her mother Joan Chando Bridge was born in Edinburgh and baptised in St Johns.
Very beautiful but I found one false information in the end: Mary Stuart daughter of James V had a son. James the VI and later James the I of Brittain. :/
I’m Scottish and was actually looking forward to watching this video but I was disappointed. Firsty, the narrator couldn’t pronounce some words correctly, the Highland people did not leave their homes willingly, they were forced out by greedy landowners and some were forceably removed from their homes and onto ships bound for the New World. The show that was filmed in Luss on the banks of Loch Lomond stopped production 30 years ago! More research should have been done on this video… I dread to think what the intended audience thought!
This was not a documentary, although I understand what you mean. Southerners in the USA know the history of the evicted Highlanders very well. It is the history of our Appalachian Mountain areas and an extremely difficult life at first.

books.

How much is the Tourist guide fee?
Great content!

We could build homes like these stone cottages. 🌈🇳🇿👸🇬🇧❤️😇🎶💎🎇
The voice of the narrator seems familiar; anyone know who it is?
He doesn’t sound British. A Malaysian with good command of English, maybe.:)
Muy lindo precioso lugar
Is this narration spoken with scottish accent?
Who knows. My family are having a laugh at his posh misinterpretation of many Scottish words.
It's an actor putting on a Scottish accent. Every pronunciation of a Scottish word is painfully inaccurate.
No.
Absolutely not !!!!
