I love how these clippers lever locks into place so you don't have to worry about it moving while cutting? Can these be bought locally? Like at Sally's, Walmart, etc?
It's the Kemei 1996 which is a clone of the Wahl 1919,It's battery last the same as the 1919,the downside is that the blade isn't that good,if you want a review you should check PremierCutts,
@1:50, Stainless Steel all through out. Not true, the body of the clippers are cast Magnesium or Zinc (Zinc/Aluminum?). However, I have to say that the body is very well made and finish is impeccable. The top cover is made of Stainless Steel, but you can tell it's low content Chromium as it has a Brownish tinge to it. The cover also has some sharp edges, not a huge deal, but you may want to smooth them down. I just got one today, and my first impressions are very good, will leave 5 star rating on Amazon if it holds up . The scissors were good quality, but I think most men will have a hard time fitting their fingers in rings. I only point that out as the videos I saw that convinced me to buy it were focused on men's DIY haircuts.
@@PHNTM-mt2dw Not sure about Torgo, but mine was $70, $10 more than the Kemei 1997 I found on Amazon (sold out at the time), and $35 more than the Walmart listing for the Kemei 1996. Not sure what the model differences are. While I wish I had known about the rebrand to save some money I had set out with the intention to give a little bit of support to someone who helped keep so many looking better during these times of business closures. My roommates, and friends, could only put up with me giving them 'high and tights' for so long.
I usually remove the blades, clean, oil it and put it back...since individuals use it mostly once in 15 days or a month or even 2 some...this way don't give opportunity for rusting!
@Jeremy Edwards Thanks a lot , i will check them out , the 8 just leaves rhe top too short and im no where near ready for scissors And thanks for the tip also

How much were they?Because this is just a rebrand of the Kemei 1996,I would be surprised if they were more expensive.

I was wondering does a 9 guard exist? Or a 10? Or is the 8 the longest?
Thanks! The longest guard I’ve seen is a #12.
Thank you so much for the fast reply , any idea where to get them? Ive looked around and only found an 8 as the biggest.
@Jeremy Edwards Thanks a lot , i will check them out , the 8 just leaves rhe top too short and im no where near ready for scissors
And thanks for the tip also
@Jeremy Edwards thank you so much , cant wait to try that one out im super hopeful since the 8 is literally just a tiny bit too short.

I can tell only about Wahl.
Wahl has 12 highest guard.
But there is also 16 guard which is a generic brand ( not Wahl )
Why do my clippers overheat?
Use a clipper spray it cleans it and cools the blade , andis cool is a good one
