Actually you need to store the keg in the hull of your ship this way they cannot be shot by cannons just make sure no one boards you and blows them up. 😂
This was actually a W video, also during all of my 1,500 hours I’ve always thought Athena kegs hit harder than stronghold kegs cus that just made sense I feel tricked.
Another thing with fort kegs, you can speedrun the bosses by making a stack of kegs and setting it off on top of them. This works for the ashen lords and even tall tale bosses, so long as you have enough of them. I'd suggest keeping it in a designated corner, tower, or rock that's out of the way of the fight. As for setting it off, I'd suggest making a line of ~5-7 kegs that's half a sloop's length (if you have more, I'd suggest making the row thicker and not longer due to damage drop off), luring the boss 1/3rd of the way into the line, then blunderbombing the back (the damage animation pushing them further into the line, instead of out)
I love kegs one time in a hourglass fight, me and my friend were againt a hacker, 100% accuracy, poor driving, i saw a keg in the Walter, Jump, swim to their ship and KABOOOOOOM, we won
‘’You should be able to spawn back on your ship in time to save it ‘’ yeah sure the game always take like 1-2 minute before i spawn back the game hates me😂
According to the SoT wiki the damage of Athena kegs is the same as the stronghold keg. I always assumed the Green explosion meant it did more damage tho
Something my crew likes to do as well is the "depth charge" where you swim underneath the enemy ship, then let go of it. It'll float up and detonate on contact with their hull. It's not as much damage as getting it below deck, but it's easier to pull off and you know the keg is going to make some lowers.
For a succesful kegging, try killing the whole enemy crew with your explosion. If one on them survives their ship will stay afloat. For a guaranteed sink make sure you dont leave anyone alive to bucket before teammates respawn.

"Hope you're ready to invade Iraq." has to be the funniest way I've seen a video opened in a while
Bro wasnt seen after thia video 💀
Great video, im new to SoT on ps5. Your vids have been helping me out a lot.
Welcome to the seas lad!
I've been using kegs to blow up my enemies since 2018. Here's the best PvP tips I've learned over the years!
They should experiment with multiplying explosion
If you load a row boat with 10 kegs, it should make a bigger explosion, maybe not 10x but 5x is good
Super underrated video, there were some funny bits in here.
0:04 I'm from iraq💀.. Do I need to be for this😂
All you new players make sure to always keep a few kegs handy on your ship! They literally always help in PvP situations!
Thats one of the craziest opening💀
Well do u not wanna invade iraq
What a damn opening
Normal UA-camrs “don’t put kegs on your ship”
Squiddy “watch them all burn”

😂
Nobody I play with online wants to fuck with kegs. They're always like, "Never have a keg!"
They are cowards.
Aye lad
You should do how to aim every item in SOT including the bucket bubble tridents and skulls

This video is so underrated bro, amazing content
Thanks my dude

Same here! I always assumed the green explosion meant it does more damage. But according to the wiki it does the same as the stronghold keg

Wait... athena kegs don't do more damage!? Or did you mean they do triple the damage OF a stronghold keg?
According to the SoT wiki the damage of Athena kegs is the same as the stronghold keg. I always assumed the Green explosion meant it did more damage tho

i saw this on my recommended and only clicked to check if you claimed the athena keg was stronger like everyone else does, i was pleasantly surprised
Captain whats the discord link. I want to play with the same people instead of randoms from official game discord.

@@captain_squiddy thanks!
Thanks
Great tips Squiddy! I need to get better at defusing enemy kegs
Man I love kegs
The opening got me 😂
Never knew there were different kinds of kegs
That's because you just started playing. Just play the game and you'll learn more from players than vids like this
