This is exactly how I got my name lol. I wandered into the Umbra ruin and killed her at a super low level. I have used that name ever since. Oblivion was my first ES game, and this was my first dungeon.
It's been a long time since I played, but I used poisons on her. Also, if you can obtain enough chameleon gear, she can't find you at all. I had a extremely lucky find once level 1 ended up with chameleon armor in a chest and ring getting me about 50%. Combo that with the poisons, Poke and hide quick to let poison do it's job. Invisibility potions help massivly to make sure she doesn't see through the chameleon.
I think I was able to beat her by using a poisoned sneak attack, and then spamming conjuration as I ran laps around the room, shooting arrows whenever she was distracted by the summon. That, the flare spell, and the spike trap room, plus a good half hour of attempts, were eventually enough to beat her right at the beginning of the game.
@@hannahprince498 I forgot about the lvel 1 summons you can get. Skeleton right? I wonder though if there isn't a spot where you can climb just out of her reach to spam arrows and lure back out using the summons.
Argonians are 100% immune to poison and with my lizard I cheesed her to death using the poison trap. Wasn't at level one though and it still required using A LOT of health potions.
Buy aphotheosis at Rindir's, buy filled soul gems, jump on a ledge at Vindasel and hold block while spamming staff blasts. Doable on max difficulty this way, at lvl 1.
You can actually kill Umbra at level 1 on Oblivion! In the main room where Umbra is to start one of the pillars is broken, jump on the table next to it then jump up on top of the pillar. You can hide up there and she cant hit you. Also to get cash you can join the mages and fighters guilds then take all their stuff and sell it back to them. If you do that enough you can then buy Apotheosis from Rindir's Staffs and that will destroy her hahah
Hey I'm kinda late to the party but a great strategy I always had was to pick up Apotheosis from Rindir's Staffs and keep hitting her from range until it is done. Apotheosis does 33 pts of fire, frost, and shock damage, totaling 99 damage. Get that early and wipe the floor with her.
ANother good way, is to jump on the railing in the room Umbra is, and then jump onto the top of a broken pillar on the back wall to your right, then spam fireball on her while she tries to run to your feet. "Its over Umbra! I have the high ground!"
I randomly ran into umbra my first play through and save scammed the crap out of it to take that ebony armor set. Then I saw that sword and I was even more stoked.
I wanna state that when I was a kid I played Oblivion at the easiest difficulty. I went to random dungeons, usually dispatching with anything in a few hits. But then I stumbled into this one random dungeon (without the quest or anything) and I meet HER. And even though it was on the easiest setting, I was surprised at how long it took to take her down. I probably died a few times and had to use up all my healing items. But she was wearing some of the best stuff you could get in the game. Oblivion, such a great game. Good memories. Edit: Okay, after watching your video I'm sure I died more than a few times. I probably blocked most of it out. The situation was probably very similar, because I had no clue of how the leveling system worked. XD I only rermember that I did get her in the end.
Im really happy to see this on youtube. When i was in elementary school i went to a friends home who introduced me to oblivion. I made a character then he decided to try and get me the umbra at level 1. He just barely survived with a sliver left of health but succeeded. One of my all time favourite memories in gaming.
i legit did this on xbox at age like 8, i stood on the stone and just poked her with a oblivion kvatch enchanted sword and it worked then i anihilated the arena
I remember doing Umbra runs at level 1 back when I was speedrunning many years ago, always just saved the staff from the Goblin Shaman in the caves in the beginning, but even with that you had to get a bit lucky, she's fast and hits hard.
I watched a video just after this one where someone was an argonian and had loads of skooma to take the long way around to get to the imp city and let the guards deal with her
My little brother did this back when we played through it originally right before Skyrim came out, his clever plan was to get on the ledge In her room and jump till he made it on the pillar (he managed it fairly easily if I recall correctly) and shot her till she was low enough to kill with a sword
As an Argonian you're immune to poison, so run around the room until she's dead. OR be a speedy dude and your idea to get to the imperial city has worked for me if you strike her with a sneak attack and sprint all the way there (go across the bridge).
I remember as a kid playing oblivion for the first time and fighting umbra I ended up playing an argonian and ran around the poison room for like half an hour till she died to traps
This was super easy to pull off back in the day. At the beginning of the game when you are in the jail cell you simply sneak and jump continuously near the gate. This will increase your sneak and acrobatics skill by being just at the edge of the vision of the guy in the cell across the hall from you. It is a very boring task. But, if you are creative you can find a way to make it almost automated with nothing more than a nickel. Anyway, after a few hours *I assume because I went to work during this time) of waiting those skills will be maxed as high as it will allow and you will still be level 1. Now, go to town and pick a few locks and steal whatever you can. There are plenty of houses filled with silver cups, plates, forks, ect... Literally hundreds of these to be pilfered. Now you can afford all the arrows and health potions you can carry. For extra points you can learn how to summon a scamp and just summon it and kill it over and over not forgetting to collect your arrows from time to time. For even more extra pointsl go and try to kill Black Bow Marksman from a good distance and get a Black Bow (optional but recommended) Now you are ready to kill Umbra. The difficulty doens't matter that much as all it really does it give her more hitpoints to dwindle away. What you need to do is get her attention and run up the stairs. There should be a couple places that you can snipe her from at the top. The trick is for her to be where you can see her. So, occasionally you have to get her attention again so she moves to a good spot. Its really just abusing the pathing. It is time consuming. I suggest having plenty of arrows because running down and collecting the ones youve missed with is a pain. You may well have to do so a couple times.
I knew the outcome from the start because of one simple reason: Oblivion doesn't have sujamma (Also if you want a boat load of money really fast, look up the scroll duplication glitch)
I killed her at level 1 by stacking poisons on arrows while sitting on the ledges where she can't hit you. Alchemy and poisons are overpowered in Oblivion and you can stack drain health poisons by manually naming each poison you create with a different label. For example, poison 1, poison 2, poison 3, ...etc. The different names allow for the drain health effect of each poison to activate individually which doesn't happen if they have the same name as hitting an enemy with a same named poison does nothing until the initial poison with that label wears off. On normal difficulty her health exponentially starts to melt after stacking uniquely named poisons on her and ditto at max difficulty though more poisons have to be stacked. if you can make double effect poisons, like drain health for x seconds + fire damage for x seconds, then her health or any poison vulnerable boss's health drains even quicker.
The first time I fought umbra I was super low level so I somehow managed to jump up and stand on one of the columns in the room she’s in, and I used the apotheosis staff and a bunch of loaded soul gems and some good old bow and arrow. 👍🏼 good stuff, it took a. REALLY. long time.
possibly the best reason to get the Umbra sword early on is it's always labeled as a quest item unless you finish the level 20 daedric quest, so it never technically leaves your inventory during scripted events. Ever go into a quest or have the NPCs take your gear, if you have Umbra fave-slotted you can still pull it out at any time.
Umbra is a High Elf. She has a weakness for fire. Use fire staffs instead and run all the time, she has a hard time turning around, and getting you when you constantly jump onto different levels, because her AI, in this case, is forced to calculate another "best route" to get you. When you change that circumstance constantly, she will never get you, because she will stop and try another route - every single time you do that. It also makes it harder to attack her, so it will take a long time to beat her this way. Also you will have to heavily stock up on healing potions and fire staffs. If you use magic a lot, mana potions too. And I mean a lot. Like at least 50 for each parameter. And like 10 fire staffs, or just one but then a bunch of Velkynd stones for recharge (not many to be found there) - so you probably will have to carry a lot of staffs or learn a better fire spell if it is possible to have a better one at level 1. Poison your weapons too. That helps I hope.
I've never tried this as I just came up with it but I think an easy and ultra cheap way to kill Umbra at level 1 would be to play as an Argonian (immunity to poison in Morrowind and Oblivion) with high Acrobatics or Speed. Aggro Umbra, lead her into the gas chamber in Vin Diesel, jump on one of the columns and keep jumping if she can reach you OR run around while waiting for the poison to kill her if it even can. The traps might help.
weakness to poison spell and some damage health poisons (they can stack) kill her easily on hardest difficulty, though it takes some time for the necessary quests to make the spell
Bro, starting off the game and equipping fireball and astronaut sign and going straight to Umbra and sitting on the wall and throwing fireballs at her is the only way to play this game
That is how I USED to play oblivion everytime I would make a new char back in the day, super fun, challenging and rewarding for any warrior type character. Even as a mage you could always use the sword.
so funny story, i did this on accident, you need like 500 arrows but you lure her outside then get on a rock that she cant climb and shoot her to death. I had no idea who she was until i looked it up after i killed her, it took forever
Do Umbra in Skyrim! I know its a CC mod but if you are on PC you dont have to pay since the mod is already installed. You just have to know how to access the files. There are tons of oosts on reddit on how to. Or wait for a sale if you dont want to "pirate" it. (Which I dont consider it piracy since you are not purchasing anything, because its already installed in your game). Umbra in Skyrim is pretty tough. So try doing this challange on it. And the quest is oretty amazing. One of the few good tbings the CC has to offer.
what i usually do is i run through the arena for a few thousand gold and then i go to the staff store and buy "apotheosis" it does INSANE damage and can kill umbra in a few hits. Then you use the sword to get soul gems to refill the staff. This has been a tutorial for how to get the two most overpowered weapons in the game easily
way back in the day I think I managed to kite her all the way to the imperial city front gate, where she killed about 15 guards but they finally got her
I do think you can resist arrest and if you're careful with how you do it you can get a guard between you and her so she hits them instead. after that it turns into a complete melee you have to survive but most of them will go after her
Back in 2009 when i stated playing oblivion after seeing my brother playing it a bit, one thing i did back then was to kill umbra right at the start, pretty much level 1 as i wanted ebony armor early on & the sword being a good bonus. But of course now the sword being the main reason why i'd take umbra down now, but that's how it was back then.
First time I played Oblivion, I stumbled into Umbra at a low level with shit gear. But I was determined to kill her! I just jumped around, hit and run style, until I was triumphant. Then I was OP the rest of the game because of her gear.
I've pickpocketed Umbra which had her run after me without attacking me, making the gas technique more effective. Only works if you fail at picking her pocket
I went through all these you just did, she was just too fast, too much health regen. But to be honest you only need a bucket to kill her. :D By droping a bucket in front of a pillar in the gas room and jumping on it mid air you can get high enogh. There is a point where the gas only damages her. It took a while to dot her to death tho... xd
I remember finding Umbra on one of my play-throughs and it changed my whole Oblivion experience. I would go kill Umbra every time out of the imperial prison, my methods were: 1. Get the goblin shaman lightning staff 2. Collect as many arrows from the prison. 3. (I mostly played Argonian) Run back and forth through the poison.
Beat Umbra at LEVEL 1 in a different way. First, get a bunch (at least 100) of Iron Arrows, 2. Go to the secret lava-level entrance to the Sunken Tower in the Oblivion Gate outside Chorrol and retrieve the bow Hatred Soul. Finally as you enter Umbra's chamber, sneak past the break in the railing above as you look down on her, go to the end and jump over the rail onto the small stone block in the corner and shoot her with Hatred Soul until she is defeated. Done deal. I am now level 1 with Umbra's armor and Hatred Soul as my main weapon, and of course Umbra as a backup, helluva start to this epic classic.
Now that I think about it i like how Umbra had dialogue in Morrowind and challenged you to battle. In oblivion without knowing from internet or a friend telling you Umbra is the best sword in the game, there's no reason to actually fight her because she's passive.
ok so we see here; umbra at level 1 in morrowind was basically impossible without all kinds of setup. in oblivion it was barely manageable, now go download the creation club, therefore bethesda endorsed, umbra content for skyim crank that difficulty up to legendary and watch him do it first try
I used to aggro her and lead her to the water front distract, from there id hop onto a building and attack her with arrows or long range spells... Sometimes the folks there would help to kill her
A cheeky trick you can do to get a decent sword early is go to Chorrol and join the Fighters Guild. They have a fine steel long sword and a silver short sword that you can take.
Just got this game about 4 months ago (2022). On easy mode I just blocked & freeze her backing away, level 13. Only found her by accident while having bounty running away lol.
Gotta' do the 'ol get all the free weapons in the Arena and then stand on the edge of the pillars in the room Umbra is in and then just smack until she dies... (If I might regale ye with my own attempt at this some time ago, spoilers ahead probably ... going to Vilverin right out of the Sewers and acquiring the XP and loot - especially the Varla stone and Aylied Statue - helps a ton. You can sell the loot and Varla/Welkynds etc., but give the Aylied Statue to Umbacano for 500 gold, in addition to what the loot amounted to. Join the various guilds to acquire the potions and repair hammers and weapons. Join the Arena to get more free weapons. Purchase the Akiviri Sunderblade from Three Brothers Trade Goods in IC. Maybe also some disintegrate armor scrolls. Seek out Umbra, then just smack until she dies.)
You could have just hopped on top of the pillar you asked you could jump on top of & shot basic fireballs at her, or made yourself an Argonian for gas immunity and done the same thing
The first thing I ever did in Oblivion was accidentally wander into those ruins. Umbra proceeded to chase me, so I ran outside thinking I could lure her into town to be killed by guards. Turns out there’s a glitch where she automatically dies whenever you leave the ruins. That’s how I got Umbra at level 1.
Lol that's how I always kill Umbra not with a glitch tho just run like a maniac with her into town and watch the madness going down xD ez gold and gear
All you have to do is put it on very easy and stand up on top of that pillar thing where she can't get you, the ai is dumb, then cast the starting fire spell over and over until she dies. Did it all the time when i was a kid.
I've been killing Umbra with a tried and tested method now since the game launched, easy to do on the lower difficulty but you can do it mid-slider too. You just need to get the blackwater blade and any other sword. I had a Nord, The Mage sign and a balance combat focused class. First complete the An Unexpected Voyage quest to get the sword. Do your best not to waste the charge. Travel to Umbra and aggro her. Quick navigate to a alter or low stone found in the area and with some practice you'll find she will try and swipe at you over the alter though she can't hit you. You now have tow methods to DPS her, first is using magic flame is fine, electricity is a tad better because it does damage over time also. Then with your Blackwater Blade wait for Umbra to do a power strike, this drains all her stamina, smack her with the sword until she falls down, swap to another sword and beat the shit out of her from the safe side of the alter, when she gets back up she'll either continue to wail on you or run around the side, if she does just play the Benny Hill theme until you get her stuck trying to smack you over the wall. Rinse and repeat. I've never really timed it but I'd say 30 mins if it all goes well. I eventually ran out of charge on the blade and just finisher her off with it, also the Nord daily cast of the frost damage is a great way to start the battle or if she's low on health a good way to end it.
I killed her at level 7 by unloading the entire charge of Apophis while running back and drinking health potions. Was one of the best gaming moments for me
I think she's the exception to the level scaling. I beat her at lvl 1 by jumping up onto ledges she can't reach and shooting fireballs at her and such And also lowering the difficulty to the lowest setting because I was like 10 and just wanted the cool sword
I killed her at level 1, altough i used a paralyze power that i could use once a day and then spammed mehrunes razor till i got the deadric banishing on her
I did this so many times. I just got a bunch of arrows or the bound bow spell or stone and munged her up from the pillar. Always started with the sword. I didn’t know about leveling at the time lol

That was the ultimate weapon in Oblivion! It made the Mannimarco quest from the Mages Guild a huge letdown though.

The city strat works on normal, but she’ll kill half the imperial legion and almost every non-essential npc.
it works and he probably got the 40 coin bounty because of something else and not because of hitting umbra.
The guard knew he wouldn't be able to kill her so he saved you by putting you in jail.
Have you tried persuasion? Maybe you can ask her to remove her armor.

I duked it out in full perma bound armor, its awesome that umbra weighs nothing either lmao. Full daedric armor plus umbra all at 0 weight

Also you will have to heavily stock up on healing potions and fire staffs. If you use magic a lot, mana potions too. And I mean a lot. Like at least 50 for each parameter. And like 10 fire staffs, or just one but then a bunch of Velkynd stones for recharge (not many to be found there) - so you probably will have to carry a lot of staffs or learn a better fire spell if it is possible to have a better one at level 1.
Poison your weapons too. That helps I hope.

When I played oblivion for the first time I took out Umbra at level one. Just hopped onto a pillar and fired arrow after arrow.
I've never tried this as I just came up with it but I think an easy and ultra cheap way to kill Umbra at level 1 would be to play as an Argonian (immunity to poison in Morrowind and Oblivion) with high Acrobatics or Speed. Aggro Umbra, lead her into the gas chamber in Vin Diesel, jump on one of the columns and keep jumping if she can reach you OR run around while waiting for the poison to kill her if it even can. The traps might help.
I remember running her around the ruins with a bow at lower level that took forever. You have no idea how happy I was when she died.
weakness to poison spell and some damage health poisons (they can stack) kill her easily on hardest difficulty, though it takes some time for the necessary quests to make the spell
I actually did this by cheesing her with conjuration while hiding on one of the welkenstone pillars.

Bro, starting off the game and equipping fireball and astronaut sign and going straight to Umbra and sitting on the wall and throwing fireballs at her is the only way to play this game
That is how I USED to play oblivion everytime I would make a new char back in the day, super fun, challenging and rewarding for any warrior type character. Even as a mage you could always use the sword.

so funny story, i did this on accident, you need like 500 arrows but you lure her outside then get on a rock that she cant climb and shoot her to death. I had no idea who she was until i looked it up after i killed her, it took forever
Do Umbra in Skyrim! I know its a CC mod but if you are on PC you dont have to pay since the mod is already installed. You just have to know how to access the files. There are tons of oosts on reddit on how to.
Or wait for a sale if you dont want to "pirate" it. (Which I dont consider it piracy since you are not purchasing anything, because its already installed in your game).
Umbra in Skyrim is pretty tough. So try doing this challange on it. And the quest is oretty amazing. One of the few good tbings the CC has to offer.
what i usually do is i run through the arena for a few thousand gold and then i go to the staff store and buy "apotheosis" it does INSANE damage and can kill umbra in a few hits. Then you use the sword to get soul gems to refill the staff. This has been a tutorial for how to get the two most overpowered weapons in the game easily
You can also glitch her into the fire pit and barrage her with arrows. Takes 20 min or so but that's another way to get umbra early game as well

way back in the day I think I managed to kite her all the way to the imperial city front gate, where she killed about 15 guards but they finally got her

I do think you can resist arrest and if you're careful with how you do it you can get a guard between you and her so she hits them instead. after that it turns into a complete melee you have to survive but most of them will go after her

Back in 2009 when i stated playing oblivion after seeing my brother playing it a bit, one thing i did back then was to kill umbra right at the start, pretty much level 1 as i wanted ebony armor early on & the sword being a good bonus. But of course now the sword being the main reason why i'd take umbra down now, but that's how it was back then.
You move a bucket on the table and use it to jump onto the pillar
you could just went to Fort Farragut thru the secret entrance in hollow tree, and sell 10 poison apples which are worth 300 gold each

First time I played Oblivion, I stumbled into Umbra at a low level with shit gear. But I was determined to kill her! I just jumped around, hit and run style, until I was triumphant. Then I was OP the rest of the game because of her gear.
I just make her chase me to the Imperial city. Stand on top of something because she won't agro on the guards.
I've pickpocketed Umbra which had her run after me without attacking me, making the gas technique more effective. Only works if you fail at picking her pocket
If you could make spells this early on, you make a drain stamina spell. Its basically a more powerful and cheaper paralyse
If he has the GOTY Edition it has the Froststag Spire DLC you have early access to spell making without needing to join the Mages Guild.

I went through all these you just did, she was just too fast, too much health regen. But to be honest you only need a bucket to kill her. :D By droping a bucket in front of a pillar in the gas room and jumping on it mid air you can get high enogh. There is a point where the gas only damages her. It took a while to dot her to death tho... xd
For some reason if I don’t kill umbra through the quest, all the guards come after me in the city
Ive had multiple playsthroughs in oblivion and skyrim and ive always played as a nord
I remember finding Umbra on one of my play-throughs and it changed my whole Oblivion experience.
I would go kill Umbra every time out of the imperial prison, my methods were:
1. Get the goblin shaman lightning staff
2. Collect as many arrows from the prison.
3. (I mostly played Argonian) Run back and forth through the poison.
Beat Umbra at LEVEL 1 in a different way. First, get a bunch (at least 100) of Iron Arrows, 2. Go to the secret lava-level entrance to the Sunken Tower in the Oblivion Gate outside Chorrol and retrieve the bow Hatred Soul. Finally as you enter Umbra's chamber, sneak past the break in the railing above as you look down on her, go to the end and jump over the rail onto the small stone block in the corner and shoot her with Hatred Soul until she is defeated. Done deal. I am now level 1 with Umbra's armor and Hatred Soul as my main weapon, and of course Umbra as a backup, helluva start to this epic classic.
Imean I just got the Daedric Lava Whiskey and let that do the job lol

Now that I think about it i like how Umbra had dialogue in Morrowind and challenged you to battle. In oblivion without knowing from internet or a friend telling you Umbra is the best sword in the game, there's no reason to actually fight her because she's passive.
If you actually do this in a play though, make sure to download a mod that auto levels uniques as you level up.
ok so we see here; umbra at level 1 in morrowind was basically impossible without all kinds of setup. in oblivion it was barely manageable, now go download the creation club, therefore bethesda endorsed, umbra content for skyim crank that difficulty up to legendary and watch him do it first try
Best way to beat umbra is get her to chase you into the imperial city and let the guards do the rest
You can get onto the broken pillar and use a claymore to hit her and she can't reach you
I give myself this challenge many many years ago and did it with ease. Pro tip: High Elf. I won't lie, I'm dissapointed you weren't able to do it.
I used to aggro her and lead her to the water front distract, from there id hop onto a building and attack her with arrows or long range spells... Sometimes the folks there would help to kill her
A cheeky trick you can do to get a decent sword early is go to Chorrol and join the Fighters Guild. They have a fine steel long sword and a silver short sword that you can take.

Just got this game about 4 months ago (2022). On easy mode I just blocked & freeze her backing away, level 13. Only found her by accident while having bounty running away lol.
Gotta' do the 'ol get all the free weapons in the Arena and then stand on the edge of the pillars in the room Umbra is in and then just smack until she dies...
(If I might regale ye with my own attempt at this some time ago, spoilers ahead probably ... going to Vilverin right out of the Sewers and acquiring the XP and loot - especially the Varla stone and Aylied Statue - helps a ton. You can sell the loot and Varla/Welkynds etc., but give the Aylied Statue to Umbacano for 500 gold, in addition to what the loot amounted to. Join the various guilds to acquire the potions and repair hammers and weapons. Join the Arena to get more free weapons. Purchase the Akiviri Sunderblade from Three Brothers Trade Goods in IC. Maybe also some disintegrate armor scrolls. Seek out Umbra, then just smack until she dies.)
You could have just hopped on top of the pillar you asked you could jump on top of & shot basic fireballs at her, or made yourself an Argonian for gas immunity and done the same thing
The first thing I ever did in Oblivion was accidentally wander into those ruins. Umbra proceeded to chase me, so I ran outside thinking I could lure her into town to be killed by guards. Turns out there’s a glitch where she automatically dies whenever you leave the ruins. That’s how I got Umbra at level 1.
Lol that's how I always kill Umbra not with a glitch tho just run like a maniac with her into town and watch the madness going down xD ez gold and gear

All you have to do is put it on very easy and stand up on top of that pillar thing where she can't get you, the ai is dumb, then cast the starting fire spell over and over until she dies. Did it all the time when i was a kid.
I've been killing Umbra with a tried and tested method now since the game launched, easy to do on the lower difficulty but you can do it mid-slider too.
You just need to get the blackwater blade and any other sword. I had a Nord, The Mage sign and a balance combat focused class.
First complete the An Unexpected Voyage quest to get the sword. Do your best not to waste the charge.
Travel to Umbra and aggro her. Quick navigate to a alter or low stone found in the area and with some practice you'll find she will try and swipe at you over the alter though she can't hit you.
You now have tow methods to DPS her, first is using magic flame is fine, electricity is a tad better because it does damage over time also. Then with your Blackwater Blade wait for Umbra to do a power strike, this drains all her stamina, smack her with the sword until she falls down, swap to another sword and beat the shit out of her from the safe side of the alter, when she gets back up she'll either continue to wail on you or run around the side, if she does just play the Benny Hill theme until you get her stuck trying to smack you over the wall. Rinse and repeat. I've never really timed it but I'd say 30 mins if it all goes well. I eventually ran out of charge on the blade and just finisher her off with it, also the Nord daily cast of the frost damage is a great way to start the battle or if she's low on health a good way to end it.

I killed her at level 7 by unloading the entire charge of Apophis while running back and drinking health potions. Was one of the best gaming moments for me
Last time I killed her was with paralysis and damage health and fatigue poison on a bow. Those things take care of basically everything
I think she's the exception to the level scaling.
I beat her at lvl 1 by jumping up onto ledges she can't reach and shooting fireballs at her and such
And also lowering the difficulty to the lowest setting because I was like 10 and just wanted the cool sword

I killed her at level 1, altough i used a paralyze power that i could use once a day and then spammed mehrunes razor till i got the deadric banishing on her
I had her chase me into the Imperial city and the guards took her out. She took a lot of them with her though.

I did this so many times. I just got a bunch of arrows or the bound bow spell or stone and munged her up from the pillar. Always started with the sword. I didn’t know about leveling at the time lol
I accidentally killed ubra right off the start on my first play through by spamming fire balls and getting stuck on a wall
Never even thought about trying this. Easy (or maybe not so easy) way to get Ebony super early in the game
Her ebony armour is actually 1 tier lower than normal ebony
