Hey dude! I watched all your lab2v videos during covid lockdown and they were one of the reasons I ended up getting a dirtbike! Anyhow I ended up running it last year for the first time with a buddy and we completed both days. I thought I was tired after day 1, but day 2 was a whole new level. We went with the most direct routes but ended up following a lot and doing most of the hard ways... I was in disbelief that I'd finish until I hit red rocks...what a good time!! cya out there this year!
Jamie, Thanks for another video, always enjoy scenery, commentary, and perseverance . Mohave gods must have been on your side at the stop sign/Crv Honda 😮.
Yeah, my nephew and I did this ride several times. Super fun!! We opted to carry 2, 2 liter "soda bottles" with gas in them. Along with having 3.5 gallon tanks. Yeah.....I know...soda bottles full of gas, in your backpack, is like a molotov cocktail on your back, if you crash!!! Incentive program, to "not crash". Lol. Never had a gas issue...and saved several riders who didn't carry extra fuel. Fun sidebar. Gave gas to 2 guys who were SOL, and gave them a business card. Low and behold...got a check for $100, a couple of weeks later, from the guys we helped. Did it just to help out fellow riders, without ANY expectations of re payment. Just goes to show, the quality of people that ride dirtbikes. That is a big reason, that I still ride, in my 60s. Great effing people!!!!
6:00 glad to see you guys went around the injured rider. Some people kept riding the trail right next to him. ... really made the group look bad the injured guy posted an update in meerkatadv's vid LA Barstow to Vegas 2022 Day One so hope his injuries were just temp
Hey Jamie, another great video!, sorry that you ran out of gas, but can't deny the Entertainment value of the drama... I watched til the last drop... and great to see the camaraderie of your fellow riders, everybody's watching out for each other... awesome... onward to the next day...
