Did they give you the package with the GPS coordinates the night before? I hope so I always hated morning that long line trying to get everything. Also did you run an oversized gas tank?
You running tubes, mousse or tubliss? Buddy and I plan on next year's run and mousse seem to be the most drama free way to go. Thought his ask someone who runs it every year.
@@jaynelson5793 Baofeng UV5R or F8HP (larger Battery) and cheap amazon helmet kits. But be aware some of the amazon helmet kits are junk and not even worth the 20 bucks. Rugged Radio helmet kits are high quality but expensive.

Sorry about the camera angle, it was annoying me too. I plan to retire the Sony shaky cam with a new camera this year.

Mousse. Only thing I've run for years now. I'm also not a fan of tubliss.
One more question... what helmet communication brand are you using. It seems to have good range and has clear sound.
