- So finally we Have a second version of H2O Droplet simulation where we have more features bug fixes and a better Settings tab.
One big Feature I added is support for animated characters through the curve droplets method.
which mean you can make tear drop animations for a crying character for example.

for anyone whose mesh disappear update/download a stable version of blender like 4.1.1 .4
Every time I drop either H20 or curves onto my mesh it disappears. I am trying to add it to a face mesh to animate a tear drop. Any solution?
This is happening even when I drop it on default objects.
@wang3D you probably broke the setup somehow by using different blender versions
what's your blender version? can u extract the zip again and do a fresh install.. and reach out to me on discord the issue must be resolved
@@cleverpoly im using 4.0.
I’ll try the install again and update here. If that doesn’t work I’ll reach out on discord. Thanks so much for the prompt help.
Hey, I just redownloaded the file and added it to the Asset Library again and now it works. Thanks so much!
Hi I am student I can't afford please make giveaway ❤
Bruh, thank you... I actually need this for a project. I'll let y'all know how it goes...
Beautiful VFX..I'll definitely use it for my animations ❤
How do I make it disappear like it evaporated/wiped off?
@lewisguapo it would be better if you reach out to me directly via discord so I can help you faster but
there are scale parameters that you can use
there's also a noise factor at the top which could work there
Is there a way to get a free trial period?
Absolutely amazing masha'allah
How can I export the drops to another program?
for sure when you click realize in the end.
but few things to watch out for
animation exports are slow
and they take like 10gb space for 250 frames of animation so you better use some kinda proxies and switch them for final render with high quality ones
No matter what I do, it is only showing a few drops, and only the animated drops. None of the others. Why?
normally it is the scale of your object, use real world scales maybe and also if you just drop it on a normal cube you can see stuff working fine, one setting to look out for is the delete nearby options as they automatically delete other particles near them so make sure you bring down their distance- also the trail width needs to be small so it does not delete the nearby points coz everything here interacts with each other.
all of these are being explained in the video and I suggest you check it out one more time
@@cleverpoly Can you jump on a quick call to troubleshoot? I can pay you for your time.
Scale is applied and real world size (bottle). Every parameter that I change, nothing happens, and also the default application, nothing happened.
@@PowersVideo3D I am working right now but I can take some time and reply to your dms- please reach out directly on discord and send me your file
Your Issue has been resolved and the reason was- your object was too small, even smaller than a cube, but even with small objects the settings I recommended above will help use them if you animated things already and can't scale them now.
Love using it so far, my only complaint is that whenever I ctrl z the droplet animation stops working.
yeah I know that from when I was creating it and whenever blender solves the bug I will update it.
but in the meantime you duplicate your object and delete the previous one
and it should work normal.
thanks for the feedback
Please upload more product videos with animation 🥹🥹 more different content plz
new 10 day series with brief explanation started on the channel which can help you become a better product animator
Unfortunately, I cannot buy this Awesome addon, because I live in Iran and USA has sanctioned us, the international connection of the bank in Iran is cut off.😔
arghh sorry! did you try the patreon link?
@@cleverpoly Yes, but I failed to buy
this is super great. Big fan since version 1! Any chance to implement metaballs (or convert to volume, back to mesh to create fusing appearance) on this graph? I tried to replace a droplet for testing, but the H20 Curve will not fuse with H20 on the same object.
it's gonna be in the next update
@@cleverpoly Thanks. I am experimenting it, but defenetely things slows down a bit. Talkinb about it. Are you also implementing some sort of accumulation count for static droplets an animated droplet absorbs? Because it would be great drops would grow slightly bigger and add to falling speed.
@@andersonbrandaosudario3425 probably
why the droplet is so big when applied on a real world scale can
On a default cube, it should be the normal scale, because people usually create models from those primitives. Your CAN scale is probably not applied or maybe just scale it up in edit mode but,
for this we already have a feature called global scale which is meant to scale all droplets up or down relatively
@@cleverpoly would you be able to edit the scale of the droplets on the geometry nodes?
@@rbywork7796 yea
@@cleverpoly what if your can is 4 inches. how can your make your droplets small please.
@@rbywork7796 My can is not 4 inches but yeah You can use the GLOBAL SCALE option to scale it down or up
Oh man, thx, I bought it as soon as I saw it. :) (actualy all of your stuff on gumroad :P )
Just wondering, how long did it take you to make this?
AND more importantly, how did you gather the knowledge to do it?
Thank you haha! actually it took months to make .. the rough ideas were quick but cleanups and bug fixing take a lot of time .. on top of that I created content on it as well
@@cleverpolyGreat question. How does one get from here to there?
@@aaronjohnson4604 one can look in the description for invite link
Hello business related where we connect
Email me Cleverpoly3@gmail.com
can we export the resulting droplet as an alembic file to use in unreal? i would love to use this to have a metahuman crying
I will try this and let you know
@@cleverpoly Yes, I also want to know if it can be used in Unreal
geniusss!
Is it possible to export the single droplet animation and use in Unreal Engine 5?
for sure when you click realize in the end.
but few things to watch out for
animation exports are slow
and they take like 10gb space for 250 frames of animation so you better use some kinda proxies and switch them for final render with high quality ones
@@cleverpoly Awesome, just what I'm looking for. Thank you.
@wang3D also not sure if it will give you any trails as it's connected to shading
@@cleverpoly alright, will update with my experiments 🧪
@@wang3D for you added new toggles at the end of the settings panels now download the 2024 version
Great stuff! Just curious though if we can change the color or material on the droplet as well as the water track to be more like coffee etc?
of course you can
I have not figured out how to do it with the water track but the droplet was easy to change. Anywhere I can get guidance or help for things like this that the video did not cover? @@cleverpoly
@MoneyIsuseless you know I provided with a water track node group that you can find in your blend file after importing H2O on your mesh. Now that is a white and black sort of animated texture for the track .. mainly we use it for roughness but see that value can be used as a factor ... in a factor input for a color mix that you need to add to your color/albedo map ... that can make the track area sort of yellow for example..
so I have provided with that float value/ texture and you have the freedom to use it
@@cleverpoly ah, perfect!
