Pretty cool. Is there a way to make the liquid follow a CLOSED curve in one direction only? Like following the normals? I can't seem to find an answer for that. So far with my limited experience my experiments aren't working out like I want... 😯
Don't follow the steps for buttons, follow them for the purpose and sometimes you don't get the exact functionality with my exact values so you have to be creative
really nice tutorial, question, how can i limit the particles being emitted when simm is calculating? like what if i want it to be shorter fluid length?
Thanks so much for this tutorial! I can't get the force fields and flow object to work properly...after baking the data the water just falls below the flow object. Is this just a matter of setting the force field strength higher?
Why is the radius of my force field small, even though I increase or decrease the curve size, it still doesn't change? That leads to the force of my water after baking not being enough to go up
Nice work! What's your GPU? All the time when i try to use Bump node like this, my fps drops to 2-5 fps. Terrible, and unable to work with it. I tried Blender 2.93LTS ; 3.3LTS ; 3.4.1 ; 3.5 ; 3.6 LTS. All the same stuttering with using Bump node.
great tutorial but i have an issue for some reason the water particles dont go in the way they should go =m they tend to just go to the center of the force field and tbh that drove me mad lol.
Hey! Great tutorial! I was wondering if you would be able to tell why my simulation doesn't move from point A to point B instead it is like a tap, water keep running and building up on my curve?
@@cleverpoly So the sphere is Flow, Liquid, Geometry. The curve is Force, Curve. The cube is Domain, Liquid. The only thing I changed is the speed of the simulation.
I noticed that most video games since about 2009 have an opaque, matte aesthetic with dingy, muted colours. Unreal Engine 5 is the absolute worst for this. It all blends together into this depressing grey-yellow-brown blob. It's bad enough that every movie and TV show looks like this, but now every game is like it too. It's like the ugly log footage you get from a digital camera. But your simulation here is the total opposite and it looks gorgeous! Translucent, accurate colours, and superb contrast. None of that dreaded opacity! It really is a delight for my long-suffering eyes. Why isn't this the norm?
They probably can't use realistic accurate renderings coz of how slow it gets and so they develop fake and performance oriented renderers which isn't a bad thing tho.. coz that's how it works
The colour grading brain rot which has infected their minds will be a _massive_ ideological hurdle to overcome. It is impossible to overstate just how much it is holding back the industry. It has paralysed Hollywood for nearly 20 years.

But,i have an issue in the fluid.some part of the fluid is moving downwards after some time(not all fluid flow upwards).is there any solution for that,or any serting i need to change to flow all of the liquid upwards along the curve.and how can i make the liquid look more bursting? I don't know if you might be able to understand the problem, but am not able to find any solution for that, hope you can help!
It's a what if situation with simulations they are not customizable in realtime on specific frames.. so say what If I move this curve, scale it or make it long and maybe turn off gravity and then bake and see what the simulation does
Hello, awesome tutorial, I have an issue, in the physics tab, i don’t have the option of Curve, (just point, line, plane, surface and every point) I don’t know how to continue Your feedback will be appreciated
Great tutorial! Just one thing to note, you can use "Realize Instances" instead of using CNTRL+A to apply the mesh so all of this can be done in nodes non-destructively.
Oops! Spoke too soon. Can't do that proportional editing at 4 minutes in if it's not turned into a REAL curve object --- there's nothing to hold the data at the curve points.
