I was just getting into modelling the Thomas characters in Blender and was worried about how to go about doing the faces, as I have no prior knowledge or experience with making them. Having this video uploaded right after I finished one of mine is an absolutely GODSEND, thank you a ton for this! This will be extremely helpful with my future projects!
Can I ask some questions? 1. When you were creating the faces of Trevor's face, you were extruding them from the nose? 2. When you were making the mesh 3 dimensional, were you moving certain vertecies, or were you sculpting? 3. Can be the face rigged? Thak you for answers and providing the faces.
1. I do start from the nose because (in my opinion at least) thats the hardest part to get right 2. I just moved the verticies by hand 3. I am not too sure about rigging these guys. I have never done it myself but from what I've seen its nearly impossible to rig them in a way to replicate it 1:1. But hey!! Prove us wrong!
That took you an hour to finish worse than hand 3D printing by hand as I wanted to mention that I hand made some replica models from Firewood Logs they're a torture to the saw.
An hour isnt that bad for each face. Plus you can get as many as you need for digital / physical models and get as accurate as you can with simple tweaks
Oh yes this will definitely start a new chapter for many people today!

Can You Make Tugs Faces One Day, Please?

I might as well try one day. But I would need references / measurements to get that curve right
