This is definitely one of the easiest civ games once you learn all strats, but it's still my most favorite.

In public matches everyone rushes for a domination victory quick if you go for any other victory and fend off there attack long enough to get better tech faster they quit in the first 20 turns it's pretty stupid no one stays past the first era anymore

Does anyone know how tp fix this? Some of my city's keep turning to the enemy even if i build more culture. It just keeps on happening..
Yo I just started playing again and noticed the whole "troops can spawn anywhere" thing. I was on king difficulty and noticed that spain just parked their ships outside of my city and an endless flow of enemies kept pouring out of the thing. Eventually it broke and just parked a defense unit outside my city and didnt touch it for like 20+ turns
Endless armies from boats, fog armies and planes running on infinite fuel is a "feature" present even on chieftain difficulty. It's too bad. With the AI being in the mood for eternal war and spamming legions everywhere, this game gets boring fast. I don't think I've ever seen the AI train anything better than a catapult.
I've seen the AI train up to cannons for ground warfare but then they'll have planes, bombers, submarines and battleships. Makes no sense.

You'll win easy work on getting to later stage as soon as a possible.

My go to for easy wins is Egyptians
It's so long. Took me 8 hours straight to win in 2100. Granted I could have won earlier with the United nations but I wanted to use the nuke for the first time and started building the Manhattan or whatever a little late. Took me maybe 1 hour alone to get Russia's capital
Romans are so easy to, wonder for the ½ of the price, this is so amazing
I love this game. The Aztec are my favorite. I love to dominate at least one capital and then switch to culture . that my usual plan. To convert all the world to me buahahaha. Lol
I haven't played this game in so long but it's in my memory because it was my favorite civilization game and I used to play in on 360 but it broke.

U hate early domination but you took out 2 civs in the first 5 min
Neil Dino when online lol it’s very hard to get a decent online game due to early domination then the immediate quitting of everyone not wanting to play afterwards.. deity computers don’t quit though lol

How do you scrap cities you don't want? (You said that eventually you're "going to scrap those two cities and build better ones.") I haven't found any mechanic to scrap cities in this version of Civ.
I don't think you can. And I've been playing for years but maybe you can but I'm not sure. maybe he means not needed or something
Well the most realistic way is to customize the resources to the point your city is taking in nothing. If you have other cities close enough they can take advantage of the resources in the unwanted cities area.

Whenever I try to attack a capital nothing happens. I’ll defeat their defenses but I don’t gain the capital as a result. I’ve attacked and won several times now but still haven’t gained control of it

It just means they have more armies defending it

Mitchell Rouse maybe with most civs but run this with the Chinese you would never lose I haven’t and I’ll tell you why.. Chinese pump warriors every two turns.. online players assume early win is the best win but the Chinese cannot be beat early win(unless the Chinese player is a noob). So every online player I play goes for a all out early win while I’m stacked with a boat load of troops and city advantage.. trust me your walk in captures would be very easy cause people don’t defend properly or cover the area as well they don’t expect a timer last second double move or boat swipes or single wall breaks followed by form army bomb..
Tryhard Infinity hmm I get your point, but people rush early with warrior or horseman armies so you need archers/archer armies. if you can pump those as the Chinese then yeah you should be sorted

I watched this on mute. First ten minutes of him griping about the game. Then I had to quit watching because he played like a player rather than showing what should be done step by step.
Civ Rev is one of my top five games, despite being dumbed down for console play (360). It reminds me of Romance of the Three Kingdoms where you have to take care of your home bases while warring on others.

Which part? The strategy itself is sound, it just happens too late in the game.

civ rev for x360 is a very bad game; the ds version is much better. The x360 problem is the lack of overview. The only barely playable way is to just have 1 city, and win by culture. Waste of your money/time.
