- Brothers Phillip and Anthony Reed experienced a totally different NYC when they shot their recent short film. “It was slightly surreal and sobering to see the city so quiet, there was a sense of witnessing history unfolding in front of us,” Phillip said. I’m born and raised in NYC, still residing in NYC and it looks so peacefully scary. What some people fail to understand is that in the city that was always so crowded was all tourists. I’m in the hospitality business and I feel the need to state this. People who reside with in NY just work and go home, and not all. You have New Jersey residents that work in the city, Connecticut, Pennsylvania and etc that commute to the city that work in the city.

The air can finally breathe in NYC!
I watch this 3 years later to remind myself that it really happened. It feels surreal and the trauma I have endured from watching people die is real, …but it still feels like a dream some days.
I keep watching this for some reason what a time to live in. Obviously NYC is no stranger to disaster (9/11) RIP to all of those who have died in the pandemic.
24 March 2024, I'm writing this comment. It was only four years ago, when on 25 March there had been 17000 cases in NYC. It's just crazy to think how quickly time has gone, and how much the world changed from this pandemic.

Leyla Rose That is true, however when you see New York City in this case as a city, which we all loved even seeing it over TV or movies,it’s really sad. People have done lot of bad things and still developing ways of doing them. If earth is without us, it’s beautiful As we’ve seen in some cities under the lockdown . But now we learned that we are not alone, someone angry about us, who is still will give us a chance to change.

It was HARDER. The trains was shut down overnight, The Buses was barely running due to the amount of Employees they had on schedule. It was alot.
