Walking in Bradford On Avon

- An idyllic little town marred only by a seemingly perpetual flow of traffic, Bradford On Avon owes its origins to a Roman settlement... Or so the story goes. In Wiltshire, near the border to Somerset and 8 miles to the South East of Bath, it's one of those towns built into the hills which, for me at least, is always pleasing to the eye. As the name implies, the River Avon flows through the town and Sunday travellers were, on this day at least, enjoying the beautifully sunny weather.
So, please take a little walk, if you will, from an outsider's point of view. A fascinating town that I shall be returning to now I've found it.
It does attract tourists but compared to Bath, it's a well-kept secret... I deeply recommend it as part of any tour of this part of England.

I wanted to try my hand at walking videos because I have enjoyed the work of all those people, like yourself, who have shown me their countries in that relaxed manner. This kind of video in my own country is simply a response both to people around the world and to the other people who walk with a camera in the UK. It looks like such a beautiful day for a walk. I love the stone walls. It is really nice to look out on the river and walk along the water. The town of Bradford on Avon looks very beautiful. The architecture is so amazing to see. The stone buildings are wonderful. I always enjoy the nice narrow pathways that you find. It makes for a great deal of interest as you turn the next corner. @jagoturner Yes it is, I was a Nurse in the Maternity hospital. Then a District Nurse. Lived in Leigh Park Rd. Also working in a Private hospital here. Now retired.

I hope that you have the opportunity to visit this and other places. Some parts of the UK are very beautiful but have not been as well-visited by international tourists. Bradford-on-Avon has many of the qualities of the towns that tourists go to but is not so busy. I will definitely visit Korea at some point in my life and make little mental notes of places I see in online videos that might not be the places everyone always goes to or talks about. Those hidden gems are of great value.
