Peter Lobley definitely not old or priceless... the car inside was a modern Ferrari (Portofino, I think?). I’m sure it would retail for a couple hundred € but nothing truly outlandish; it wasn’t an authentic Fabergé egg

Richard is just so much more comfortable with Chris than any other guest on the show. Whereas with others he keeps his uptight persona going on, he's so much friendlier to Chris.

I’ve watched this many times now and I’ve 3 favourite bits. Fave bit 1: When Chris faked and then proceeded to actually drop the snowglobe fantastically. Fave bit 2: When Richard was narrating his feelings out loud afterwards which is the only reasonable reaction I now learned for future references. Fave bit 3: When the man pretended like he wasn’t heartbroken. Comedy gold.

I can't imagine they didn't - although when you think about it, (I have never been to Austria and have never knowingly owned an original Austrian snowglobe) but I've never handled a snowglobe where the glass part was NOT attached firmly to the base. The one they broke, the glass ball just rolled off of the base and fell on the floor - so I like to think it was a stunt snowglobe.

Breaking the snow globe was just a way of transporting some snow out of the building undetected on the bottom of their shoes. It is now being analyzed in a laboratory.
For reasons I can’t explain the whole cake for breakfast part and them just laughing is one of my favorite parts of the whole show. That “oh dear” from Richard is one of my favorite utterances of those 2 words ever
