He was the perfect choice for this show.
Amanda Tenney he wrote it 😂😂
Alasquare and he chose himself for the role...perfect 👌🏼
"a creature of unparalleled violence" Fucking lost it haha
Richard always looks so dapper.
Fashion icon
The truffle hunter guy and his dog were adorable and his gnocchi looked delicious!
That seems like it would be a cool job. Mainly hiking through the forest with your dog, a highly trained truffle-snuffling dog, never-the- less ;)
@@betheroo2397 Eda!
Richard's outfits are always on point
"It's like a shy island?" 😂😂😂
Oh how I love to spend a beautiful day like this with Richard. ❤️
I love both these people
And also croissants
me too!, and also croissants
Adore them so much😍😍😍
ditto.
@Who let the virus out? Woof woof woofhan parents proud of how you choose to act?
I wasn't expecting Rebel to be so chill. Richard seems very relaxed around her. Maybe it's because as an Australian who works abroad all the time, she's comfortable being out of her element.
Sandra Sagat Do you not understand that being a person who travels a lot for work would put you out of your comfort zone? I don’t understand your question.
she was terrible
Bee , your little remark (an attempt at sarcasm I think ) didn’t actually make sense . To succeed at being a smarty pants , it’s important you get things right or people will mock you and say things like ‘ good heavens Bee ‘ get a life .
A part of my family is Aussie and they are the chillest :) I mean look at Kylie Minogue she is top glamour pop star but at the same time very chill and down to earth
They are friends
"Oh come off it Eda!"
best line

"I feel like I am essentially leaving you with washing up to do." I imagine this will become my go to quote when departing from a social engagement involving prepared food.
Rebel looks so stylish and gorgeous throughout this!!
and she carries off the Italian movie star look effortlessly.
Not really...
I love her outfits here.
"...and Eda a creature of unparalleled violence." Nearly choked while eating my bun
1:06 "That's the face of someone enjoying a coffee." LOL They use that face with beer during the first few sips as well.
"Hot, beany water" lmao
That dog is so cuuuuuuutttteee I can't handle iittt!
That's mean, it's Rebel Wilson not a dog.
He’s a wild beast of unparalleled violence.
@@ascent8487 She. :-) "Brava, Eda." :D
'post brexit euros worth of fungi' 😂
Hershey Reddy Richard is savage and I love it!
@@fabulousmyriad267
How is it savage? It's funny. But definitely not savage.
love this show
Oooh, see how handsome Ayoade is behind the wheel of a car classic. He's in his element now. :-)
failing georgraphy teacher 😂
Two of the most awkward people on holiday together 😂honestly I can't get over how perfect this episode was
He should do an episode with david mitchell
Danherman he did one on gadget man
Mitchell & Ayoade in the worst taverns of Caracas!
@@terseandtiny1746 And it was pure magic
Gabriele Riva do you have a link please?
Best combo ever! These guys always make me smile 🌼🌸🌼
I can relate to Rebel so much! Coffee only smells very good, but the taste *blergh*
Try plain black coffee that is not over cooked.
+LostPrty
I have that with a lot of things. Grilled chicken, for example. Smells good, tastes awful according to me.
Perfume and showergel....smells good, tastes awfull and burns your tongue. Candles, Grass, Roses, Laundry, it all tastes pretty bad. But the smell is good.
Oh and yeah, I tasted all of them.
nothing wrong with personal taste but cappuccino and black coffee are worlds apart. cappuccino has milk foam and, of course, you can use sugar, my point is cappuccino is a milky hot sweet creamy thing with a hint of coffee flavour. that's why the fact that she did not liked it it's so strange to me and many others. again, not a problem, just curiosity ^^
Dan Sea I think it's the presence of coffee in any form that's the issue, almost like a sensitivity. Incidentally I never have sugar in cappuccino, although I know that can be nice. You start putting sugar on everything and where does it end eh? Diabetes and tears, with a nice biscotti...
I find it hard to relate to people who don't like coffee.
I'm still recovering from the anxiety of him struggling to get it in gear
Amazing how those truffles came out so clean 😂😂😂
"Whereas I smell like a failing geography teacher..." The world needs more Ayoade.
And that dog!! So adorable and clever florence seems like a lovely place I wanna go there!
Rebel is genuinely beautiful, I love her so much
Your opinion is ugly
@@Gayestskijumpever fun fact: Chubby girls like her can be beautiful too, as beauty comes from the inside, and not only from the outside.
Rebel's lipstick is so good xx
'a private island, is it shy ' love Richard you have to keep your ears open when that man speaks :)
they are such a good team
OMG! I want the espresso she didn't drink!!! It looks incredible
I was there when they were filming this and I've been to that coffee shop so many times! it's called Ditta Artigianale.
love her!!!!
Love them both!
The two of them make such a stylish pair.
These are some of my favourite entertainers. I don’t think either of them have ever recorder a bad second of TV
I too smell like a failing geography teacher :D
Is there another kind?
I’d love to hang out with Richard!!! ❤️☀️ He is constantly making me giggle and I have to catch my breath a lot! 👍🏼🤗☀️
I just said out loud “ this is gonna be good” when I saw the thumbnail 😂😂
Ayoade is just a superb wordsmith. It amplifies his narrating ability to a level of pure and utter delight. Dare I say that he only comes 2nd to that of Bourdain? Yes. Yes, I dare.
Rebel is so stylish. That red check coat... Noice! The British fella looks quite dapper too :) Great quips strewn throughout too. Big love from Straya 🐨
Well, how stupid I was never trained my dog to find truffles. What a smart dog. I couldn’t believe he ate the truffle.
hahha the violent dog is soooo fluuuufffy!!! i want one!!!!
That adorable truffle chap 😘😘😘
2:04 OMG SHE IS SO CUTEEEE❤❤❤❤❤❤ I LOVE HER💖💖💖💖
Lol @ Rebel getting 10 more custard croissants on Richard's credit card.
“Im surprised they don’t make pedigree chum in truffle flavour”. Classic 😂
I would watch the heck out of this romantic comedy.
Rebel was in one of the best comedies ever : fat pizza (you'll find the episodes on youtube)
now imagine Richard and Paul Fenech (who made fat pizza) teaming up together to create a new comedy show. That would be unreal !
They're beautiful
"you still have his card?' --- lol!
okay, this is weird but Rebel has the prettiest teeth :)
Rebel Wilson is a top gal :)
Love them both
rebel is so beautiful
Simon Harris and beautiful
D'ya know what that was a dic#head comment I made, just no need for it.
Simon Harris ah yea ok

They are only 3 years apart.
@@thytoe Richard is actually 72. He ages remarkably well
@@Dracattack Well I suppose that does make sense
Jason Ibrahim hes 41 😂
He, he. "Can I get ten and charge his credit card" I love me some self-depicting humor. Good one.
"OH COME OFF IT, ETTA!"
When custard gets involved, who knows where it's from!
How do i get this job?!? I wanna eat food with Richard in different parts of Europe.
i am so distracted by the dog hes so good we dont deserve dogs
They eat their own shit you know.
that awkward as fuck ending
Let's not get into a comparison there both flights and both equally tiring
What? From Australia to Italy you've got minimum 14h but who acn afford direct flights, you usually end up with 26-36h
Came for the thumbnail, stayed for the hilarity
That was kinda sexy when he barked the fake Italian cuss word at the honking vehicle behind em
The croissant is a pastry that was assimilated by the French it come by way of Turkish or ottoman soldiers it is made in the shape of the crescent moon to represent them (crescent moon and star are significant to arab and indo arab peoples.)
You can tell that Richard is truly English by that constant pull of the hand brake, in the rest of world we use the foot brake.
when you grate the truffle on in papery chunks like that, it is generally horrendous cuz the texture is very bark-mulch - better to grate it very fine like with a nutmeg grater into very warm butter or olive oil, let it sit a bit, and spoon that onto your meal. Gnocchi WOULD be good! [possibly when it is a reeeally fresh truffle it's ok in papery chunks like that]
And he grated so much! I've mostly gone 'less is more' when it comes to truffles, no?
Ciao Rebel ! Benvenuti
I would see a movie of this.
Or maybe I should just go there.
Hot beany water.....I am going to use that next time I order coffee.
Doggie is adorable :3
She doesn't like the coffee, so he feeds her. LOL
Richard's driving though
Just make more episodes of Darkplace already !
02:04 A perfect "scusi" 🤣
I'm having the sneaking suspicion that the truffle hunting is fake. Meaning they did go out - but the hunter had them on hand. Perhaps for cases when the dog doesn't have any luck within a certain time.
Rebel Wilson, I felt your pain when you tried the coffee. You should have had a hot chocolate instead.
Gotta rewatch just for Eda
One of these days I'm gonna find out what truffles taste like.
Peckham Jewel of the Southeast said no one ever
Richard is so funny
I wanna meet her!!
So I guess the people from the Bachelor watch Travel Man? :D This is definitely the same guy from Arie's season
clicked because I thought it was the ellen show... anyways, was really nice and I enjoy :·3
The truffle hunting bit reminds me of when Conan did it too, the 'hunters' he did it with were scammers, who dropped the truffle on the ground and then pretended to 'find' it
I want truffles!
That car...
In Italy you give way to vehicles coming from your *right*!
Not in a roundabout (she said, two years later)
Gitte Bjerre Braae www.polizialocale.com/2017/04/11/circolazione-in-rotatoria/
@@AP-qb2xn Hey. I can't see the link, but I'm honoured that you expect me to be able to read Italian (as the language seems to be) - being a Dane, I'm afraid I only know the rudimentary 'Ciao' and 'Espresso'. Anyways, I don't know what it says in your link, but I just don't see how it can make sense to give way to vehicles from the right in a roundabout, if you drive on the right - as is the case in both Denmark and Italy. Of course I don't go charging into the roundabout, if a car is entering it to my right, but my focus has to be with the traffic from the left, as they influence my ability to join.
Gitte Bjerre Braae Cheers. (Sorry I assumed you spoke Italian, you were talking about Italian traffic rules.) I think I now understand what you (and the characters in the original video) mean when they say you give way to your left on roundabouts, viz. when entering into the roundabout with respect to the vehicles that are already into it. In that sense, you do give way to your left in many/most cases (although I believe the default rule is still to give way to your right unless traffic signals explicitly tell you to give way to your left)
crossoint is most likely to be from austria /vienna :D
Love Rebel, can’t believe she doesn’t drink coffee heehee
"ill almost definitely remember some of that."
note to self: take Rebel for cup of tea on first date
...and aeda a creature of unparalleled violence 🤣
