In Austria sausages are named after their traditional region of origin: Debrecziner, Waldviertler, Frankfurter, Krakauer ... and the Käsekrainer comes from the Krajina region in Slovenia. So it's a Krainer with cheese. P.S.: the slavic name of this Slovenian region is exactly the same word as in Ukraina and means "borderland/frontier".
