7:29 "Well, there's no need for me to blow my own trumpet, because Jimmy Carr has just blown it for me, and I'm not sure I'm entirely comfortable with that sentence myself." Richard Ayoade is such a legend. That was so funny, those two together are great.

Two of my favorite people - British comedians. One of my favorite things - making fun of stuff. All taking place in a Tiny House - one in which I live (there was considerable "screwing around" in this video). Thanks for sharing...
Love the concept, but gravely disappointed in the bedroom. Why waste space by using a level ceiling when the roof is peaked and allows for a vaulted ceiling inside?!
well, you figure people have three or four styles of laughs, and since jimmy, for reasons unknown inhales instead of exhales on his laughs, the variants are a little more different.
I love it it all the room I need. I've been looking into tiny houses and have decided to purchase an prefab out building and convert it in a get living space I can't wait.
even in a place that small I don't see a reason why the roof needs to be so short. the roof is pitched so the bedroom could have vaulted ceilings, at least partially to give you standing room.
Yeah, I wondered about that. The roof is not flat, it is angled, yet they closed off that extra head space. If they opened it up, neither one of them would feel claustrophobic. That's what a lot of tiny homes do to make the loft feel more like a regular room.
"woah woah woah woah, easy tiger" "hey now" "I'm putting it in the centre" "YOU'RE NOT AUTHORISED" *disappointed* "i dont think this marriage is going to work" "WoOAh!" ***SPANKS BOTTOM***
There are *3 MAJOR FLAWS* with the compact home. *1.* The smoke, water vapor from the kitchen. *2.* The steam from the shower *3.* As those gases are heated they rise, and as they rise they cool which causes them to condense and what's directly above them both? *THE BEDROOM* with all it's sponge-like linen and cushiony mattressy materials. I did not see any room for an industrial sized ventilation unit, the insides of that place would turn *mold infested* before 2 months had ended.
I loved the first floor. The moving walls really helped open up the different room areas. It definitely looked like it made the bathroom larger. I would worry about having to do maintenance and replace the devices that allow that to happen though. The one nightmare in the tiny house was upstairs. I started to almost feel claustrophobic. They needed a taller ceiling by at least a foot and something to prevent someone from rolling off the beds and down the stairs.
Yes because somebody saving up a few months to indulge in a £400 knife is totally an indication they can afford the average cost of HALF A MILLION QUID for the average home in London...

If you know the descriptions of sex Jimmy speaks about in his standup, you'd also rather not picture it.
The energy between Richard and Jimmy is something I will always love, even if neither of them do
1:03 I live how Richard steps on all of the stepping stones XD
And how Jimmy did it so differently on the way out. He looked like he was genuinely excited.
I also love how jimmy swings his legs at 7:04, humans are actually adorable sometimes when we naturally do things like that

you would get bored very quickly of having to spin the thing to get where you want to get, after a while you'd just leave it at 50-50.
I'd get tired of rearranging the stuff that gets displaced while the walls are moving.

I think if instead of storing things on counters they used more wall storage that might be less of an issue
Could make the walls about a foot thick and make all the walls cabinets.
@@piedsniques I'm jealous. I never used the bath when I lived at home. Not having access to one has made me realise how nice they are.

Simply, two of my favorite people in one small beautiful space.
Efficient, smart, conservative... and yet completely impractical.
Mostly impractical. Though, I would hate to wake up in the middle of the night having to take a piss very badly.
Well they showed that the stairs have to be in the center, giving you enough room to move the kitchen over so you can run to the bathroom

Might be additional storage in the roof. :P
I was thinking that, though storage would be good, I have way too much stuff.
Maybe there is storage space above the ceiling. Or perhaps it contains technical stuff for water, heating, electricity, gas.
Might be cold
Only need 1 double bed, making the room feel bigger.
Ayoade and a tiny house... I believe this video was developed in a lab to appeal specifically to me.
Him running over the stepping stones like a child gives me life
