It's been a long time coming but I finally recorded a video outlining my menu settings on my Canon R5. I didn't have much time to properly light and edit this video, but it does give you the meat and potatoes that you're looking for. Disclaimer, this video is long, and there are a few moments where I flub on saying the right thing. Show me mercy. :-)

Continuous AF is for One Shot to keep focusing after pressing shutter button half way to focus. It continues to track a subject similar to Servo AF.

Anthony, thank you very much for your work on this video. I can’t wait to set up my r5 when it comes next week. Are you finding the EF glass is working fine for you for the time being?
@Papabean 100% without a doubt EF glass has worked FLAWLESS for me! That's the main reason I haven't been in any rush to invest in RF glass. You won't have any issues using your EF glass on the R5. I'm excited for you, you're going to love it!!

LOL just so you know, most camera manufactures have the "release shutter without card feature," not just a Canon thing. I suppose the only real benefit of having that on is for cameras that are on display at some places so people can see the image they take in the store (I suppose). Oh and Back-Button Focus is the Bees Knees. LOL I don't think I could shoot without it now.
Yeah you're right @neostephens8980, and the funny thing, I actually have most my cameras set to release shutter without card because my cameras won't let me move past the message when I'm trying to use my cams as webcams and don't need a card in there lol.
