My department has this at our training center. About 1000 scenarios with different endings each. It’s intense and really gets your adrenaline flowing even though it’s fake. Pretty awesome
Should be intergrated with vr. This is too difficult to get angles. Vr as well with augmented reality would be a step up higher
They actually have AR stuff they're going to be integrating
The angles for 2d like this still likely work better. In VR I bet the point of aim and point of impact isn’t as accurate.
@@sookiyoon why would the point of aim and point of impact not be as good in VR? You’re basically shooting a laser either way. If anything accuracy would be the same.
Look up inveris. It is what you are thinking of most cutting edge I have seen. Tried to become a sales rep for my area work connection and they wouldn't budge. We have a sim room but not as nice as the ar one or the virtra
@@ryanclark.styles7897 only thing I can see an issue is when you aim down sights but new AR glasses can work with that now also they are able to pick up lasers so it should be fairly accurate
AOTC and AOTDH on video was the best training aid I had as a young soldier pre-deployment.
Big thanks to you and Chris Costa.
We Demo the machine at shot show as well, a phenomenal tool. I had the opportunity to use it when I was on the job with my agency. We just finished talks with Virtra and it look like we may have the opportunity to bring a smaller version of your system to the Pennsylvania area.
That is pretty intense
Law Enforcement has had simulation vids for over 20 years. I loved them for every reason that you both mentioned. They didn't move like this one did. I still think, from a footwork point of view, that CQB exercises are the best. But...this does help in getting LEO's and our Military in the right frame of mind. Great Video!!!
They are very helpful. Making decisions is much harder than shooting.
Yeah if they had these at shooting ranges or something you could use in VR set up that would be so helpful.
Man I’d love to try this…and be able to train with my big ol 7.6whew..
Nothing beats sims training against the unpredictability of another human and realtime feedback of marked hits
Amazing featuring🇫🇷🇺🇸🤘
Love this, seems like the more advanced training rifles that have recoil only sell to Law Enforcement on contract basis
Awesome. I'd probably require someone to run on a thread mill sprinting while having their hands soaked in ice water. Then start simulator.
Yeah Lara Tactical !❤
Wow - this simulator recreates the noises and confusion that would exist in the real world. It seems very hard to keep focused and ferret out the bad folks.
Easily one of the simulations ever!
Cool!
This seems more realistic than most FPS games on your TV screen.
It is, worst part is these things cost thousands
Anyone else want one of these? I want one
I want to do this.
At some point some dudes will be speedrunning these getting S rank non stop.
Maybe in VR. This may help situational awareness in busy environments. Without VR, it seems less useful than FOF training.
Wrong
@@airsoftman56100 Stick with airsoft kid.
I wanna do onw of these so much
Time Crisis flashbacks
I want to join the military and I'm 34 what kind of advice would you give me?
Get in great shape and be ready to be a student again. Listen to your DIs and do everything to 100% of your ability
The future for whom? Rich police departments and federal agencies?
Yes. Us normal citizens who have to EARN our money will never get to use a system like this regularly.
@@Salvo_Your_ProblemsJoin your police department if you want to play SWAT Team and save your local mall from mass shooter.
@@Salvo_Your_Problems I dont remember what is costs, but I do know its in the tens of thousands to rent it for the day. Its not designed for the people. Its designed to take federal grant money for LEO departments and federal agencies.
So ... its just 3 screen with a video ? How is that future ?
I'm not sold on this at all.
It's not very effective as a stand-alone training device, but it is a dynamic addition to live fire range and force on force training.
Don't get me wrong it is a nice system but I don't think it's for me. I would rather train with paint simulated rounds.
I could think of so much better use of training funds than buying one of these.
Nah really life hands on active shooter drills are way better than this type.
