HOW TO IMPROVE SHOOTING SKILLS WITH 100 ROUNDS OR LESS - TRAVIS HALEY
Вставка
- Опубліковано 20 лип 2023
- Travis demonstrates a 100 round workout that anyone can do to improve their pistol shooting performance. When resources like ammo are scarce, we have to be resourceful in our training. This simple 100 round workout focuses on kinesthetic alignment (natural point of aim), rhythm (throttle control) , precision and stress sight pictures, building a rock solid grip, performance of the draw, tactical and speed reloads and a modified Combat Effectiveness Test (CET). Administrative results really does a fantastic Travis Haley impression
The original venti 100 shot drill was huge for my pistol progression. Cool to see it updated!
I love your guys training content. Nothing like one on one training with a real American Badass!!! Detailed, factual and in depth content that truly is second to none. Keep up the best training content on the media today. Only thing better is being in his class. In person is the preferred method, but that is not realistic. That is what I respect most is that the social media version of his training is as close as you can get to attending one of his courses. I have attended 3 of his courses and plan on attending some more if my schedule will allow me the time off to attend. Until then I watch their videos and pick up things that I missed while attending his courses. If your thinking about going to one of his trainings I strongly encourage you to jump on it, because his classes fill up pretty fast. You will not regret it.
Profesionalism, efficiency, intelligence, thinker before shootet. Thank you Mr Haley for sharing your experience with us!

One of the most useful pistol improvement videos I’ve ever seen.
YES. i love your shooting videos it gives me stuff to think about at the range. and new things to try. i still refer to your Venti 100 drill all the time.
When i was coming of age getting ready for bootcamp, you were my inspiration even through my USMC contract. I tried to apply the critical/logical thinker mentality that you teach and it really helped with my professional/personal developement even when my commands were not big on individual thinkers. Even now as a firearms instructor myself i still love coming back to your old videos to see if i can get anymore information out of it as well as looking forward to your new videos.
Im always learning something from Travis Haley. Best instructor in the country.
Love it, love the content, company, and instructors.
Great stuff. Keep’em coming
Awesome video thank you very much. I will be taking this video to the range with me tomorrow morning to practice.
Good things to think about. More stuff to practice. Thank you sir
Love the video and content, keep up the great work.
This is great. All stuff I can use. Thank you!!
Great work! We'll definitely try this workout.
First time seeing your channel. Lots of good stuff I can use thank you
I just want to take the opportunity to thank you. I've learned so much over the years, my only regret while living in the US was not taking some of your classes.
Great and very informative video! Thank you very much sir.. Stay safe and God Bless to you and yours.
This is a great way to gain control and confidence with what you work with
Freaking awesome as always. Thanks!
These are really good drills if you're limited on time and or ammo. Keep up the great work as always helping people get better 👊🏻
Thank you this was great! Using this next range trip
First time watching this guy and I have to say, OUTSTANDING!
That was fantastic. Learned a lot. Can’t wait to try out a few new drills at the range. Thank you very much!
This was such a wonderful video for me as a new gun owner. Thank you so much 💪🏾👌🏾❤️
TY Travis. Also the Ole Glock 19x Love it! Just bought an Echelon but my 19x is still the favorite.
Great exercises. I have been doing this since 2016. It works.
I learned a lot. Thank you.
Thanks for the videos and good tips 🤘🏻🤠🤘🏻.
Would love to see a video on the movement portion of the CET added on to the CET playlist 🔥 wanna make sure I’m keeping up enough for a D3 course 😅
This was a great video
This is the finest instructional video of its kind I’ve ever seen, and I’ve been on ranges for 30 years. Haley is an elite instructor.
LMAO how much did he pay you to say that?
@@lovetopew9054about tree fiddy
@@felixdewinter3484 I believe that because anyone with half a clue would not post such a retardedly stupid and inaccurate comment.
Lucky if you can find indoor range that you can shoot from the holster. Thank You for the video Sir. 🙏🏻
Very similar to my standard training night with my wife. We each get 100 rds and work specific skills. Nice and thanks for sharing.
Good training.. now i will do it. My grouping is not that. Ad about 4 to 6 in apart 10 rounds but i want it a little more closer. Also that was a good point for the emergency mag. Thanks for the tip
I hope someday I'll be able to make it out there and train with you. I've done these drills with Kelly out here in Medford and they are awesome
Still top notch. Love this.
With proper feel-eye-finger and CET, you get a feel for the natural kinesthetic alignment of your externals thus increasing dexterity and, well essentially to put it in to common terms you use the force, Luke.
This is awesome
Travis you are the MAN! I love your instructionals thank you for your knowledge and helping all of us patriots be better in our training. From one vet to another I applaud you and Semper Fi brother! 👊🏻 wish I could train with you and learn more from you
Great video!
Good stuff 👏🏼
I can't wait to take another class from you. Saving my pennies! 🥳
Thanks that was really helpful. 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Great stuff
Outstanding
Amazing shooting.
VERY NICE, THANKS , MORE TO IMPROVE ON , ALWAYS LEARNING
Great information
Damn good drill. Thanks
You sir are a F'ing legend!!
Those were some of the smoothest reloads I've ever een
Great Video! Looking forward to the 20 yr 🦃 shoot video or event in Scottsdale?!
Commenting for the algorithm. Nice video
nice one
Saving this to try in the range soon. Thank you for this free lesson, Sir 👊🏻
Fk awesome content. Great job guys
Need more just straight unedited videos like this
Hey Travis, I’ve been running this drill the past few range days, and can already see my improvement. Appreciate the transfer of knowledge and look forward to running more of your drills. Thank you for what you do.
Good stuff
The Radian Afterburner makes your muzzle control look even more easy.
Came here to find out what it was haha not disappointed. Thanks!
I have a range where I can go anytime. 2am or whenever. Only one in the building. This is going to be my next workout for sure.
Another knowledge bomb dropped, thanks HSP for sharing.
Nice
Sweet looking Glock 19X! Please do a video on how you setup your Glocks.
I shoot just as well as that. Then I wake up and I’m not Travis Haley any more.
Awesome stuff, good motivation to improve and good drills for me to learn. Thanks!
(In actuality, my guns never work in my dreams.🤣)
Uh he’s not that good. He’s barely mediocre.
There is no substitute for experience and when you combine that experience with regular range time that extends into years’ worth of time = Travis. Most civilians will never get the experience, but we can get the range time if we commit and get pretty close to this level of proficiency after a few years if you go consistently…
Lots of great info in a short time!
I always enjoyed how you break things down to a layman. More importantly, the visualization techniques and mnemonics you use in order to explain a key task one needs to perform in order to be successful in the shot. For example the fingernail being a claymore, front toward enemy. So many people try to explain an important step with all this minutia and can be confusing. Thank you TH, and crew!
I'm completely lost after the first 30 seconds. So I'm just going to practice removing my finger from the trigger when I reholster. You know, basics.
He can control time 🇺🇸💪🏼
I used to golf and as a result would read golf magazines what always got my attention was that there was at least two articles to cure the dreaded slice in each issue and a slew of products to do the same.many of these cures where promoted by reputable and or famous instructors and every month there were new cures and instructors And no matter how redundant or ineffective these cures are there never seemed to be an end to them. I am noticing this more and more with the firearms instruction industry it’s becoming the the new golf magazine
Which do you train with more, RDS or irons? I recently just started shooting irons again. Figured its a good thing to stay good on for bad weather.
Talk about a 10 min fucking master class with dad himself, iv already watched this in my sleep twice
Righteous
Dude, you've always been in better shape than me. Still are, but I think we're closing in. Great for me.
Getting a little round there, Haley.
I'm going to try this next time and I'm using the same gun you are
When I did my Denver Metro Patrol quals we did these drills and other modified drills.
Being certified and licensed is literally a privilege at Shoot Indoor. Just gotta book training on the range for an hour to get down range. Not easy.
What mag extensions do you prefer/use? Brand and round count +3, +4?
I like the drills, but it would be nice to have a video with drills friendly to common indoor range rules like no rapid fire, no holstering/drawing, etc
New subscriber, excellent info 🇺🇸🧂🧂
How long ago was the other video you were with the in depth breakdown
Need some of those targets
Amen very well done my brother I appreciate your knowledge and wisdom and hitting all the vital points on the Intel very well done 👍 I appreciate your video for your expertise God bless you and your family amen and look forward to more videos and thank you for your service amen freedom 🇺🇸💜☝️🤟😁🙏😇🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Does your G19X have the skimmer trigger, Radian Ram Jet, and Afterburner? Any other modifications?
Travis shoots better with his eyes closed than 90% of us😂
Anyone know what where the full videos he’s talking about is?
Good vid. Obviously would be slower in my training, but the short range accuracy plays a fundamental role in longer range pistol shooting. Quality teaching and info.
Is that a Parker Mountain Machine JTT Comp?
Thanks for the free training video!!!
it's a radian comp
What’s the distance in the beginning? Thanks!
👍👍
Awesome, curious about the rhythm thing. I hear a lot of good shooters nowadays say to not shoot on cadence but shoot when you can re acquire your sights or when the gun settles to break the next shot. Curious on thoughts about that.
Absolutely.
The gun is cycling and settling within hundredths of a second. Not being able to shoot at a cadence means you are moving the gun involuntarily or do not have control of it.
Атлично 🎉
One hundred rounds minus the two you tossed on the deck. I’ll take those two if you don’t want them Travis because you know inflation. Nice work man.
Where can I get the target you have in your video?
5:31 JUAAAAAANNNN
I appreciate the videos but I couldn't stop staring at the compensator on the front of that 19X. Switching over to the longer video now.
Links to the gear on your belt?
What compensator are you running on your Glock ?
