Premium steel that isn't cheap, labor, G10 isn't cheap, It isn't 99% CNC machining. The CNC is only used to cut the blade shape, everything else is done by hand. Using a CNC machine enables them to make production quality and quantity. Dimensions stay exact, tolerances stay exact.
I really like this. I have been looking for an EDC fixed fighter that still could be used in a survival situation. And I love that the serrated edge is NOT on the cutting edge, and that it looks like you have a 90° spine for ferro rod. This might have just made up my mind. Nice work!!!
I do think the design is great. Very functional and really aesthetically pleasing. I wish I had a better experience with Toor knives in the past but that’s the way it goes in the industry

I got this knife four months ago, and I am so impressed it is so useful! The Serrations are total Awesome for cutting cardboard . I can’t believe how sharp I get it. Why the hell would someone get this? Just get an Extrema Ratio Requiem for 1/3 the price, which has more reach, lighter, easier to conceal and carry, and the handle is better for the cold. LOL. People who use trainer versions of a basic knife are goofy.
$360 with A coupon code. At some point A knife costs too much and you will be hesitant to actually use it. That's why I cycle between a handful of $30 throwaways. If I lose track of one or have to do something with a high chance of damaging the knife I don't care. Throw a machete and A tomahawk/hand ax in the vehicle and forget about them till you need one.
Having had both cheap knives and high quality steel knives, there is a definite benefit to using quality knives. 3v steel will cost this much just about any day of the week. Besides, would you rather have 3 rat knives, or one of these. You can only use one at a time. I see this all the time. People with a ton of cheap shit that never works, and they say, “must be nice to have a custom 1911,” while they have three glocks, and couple rugers and a kel-Tec in their safe worth the same amount of money.

How likely are you to be more than a 45 second run from your car? For me that happens virtually never. Given the people in the comments of this video there is likely a gun and knife already on you and another gun and knife in the vehicle. The reality is 85% of the people who buy this knife are not going to use it as a tool, they are going to grab a "beater" rather than risk it.

It's all in how it's used. Best knives I've had in "all kinds of environments" for all sorts of "tasks", were simple and not necessarily expensive; rarely over $100.
What the hell is the purpose of having a training blade if it doesn’t even fit in the sheath? Am I missing something here? Drawing the weapon is one of the most crucial parts. Please advise because I just spent money on this blade for the purpose of having a trainer that will fit in the same sheath. The knife btw is amazing. Love it. Just pissed I can’t draw the trainer.
Funny you mention this. I bought a Ronin Tactics Sakura blade with trainer included and actually jacked up my trainer shoving it in the sheath the first time. I was super confused like why does this not fit? It kinda pissed me off too. Not ALL companies do that, but I guess some do. Not sure why though? That being said I Still love the Sakura and these knives look great so haha it is what it is I suppose. But something to think about Toor!

JP Peltonen sissipuukko -> $90-100. There is no better alternative to it. Terävä Jaeger knife is also good and much cheaper but it does not take as much beating as sissipuukko. Still terävä jaeger knife is very good option. Trust finnish steel!
There's are lots of things that don't rust such as vanex, lc200, h1 and ceramic ,you saying everything rust makes me question the integrity of this knife.
I prefer to make a homemade Bowie knife then buy a, cheap overseas made knife that does not work. That's just me and I like knifes that the steal is form the United States.

Awesome looking knife but the sheath sucks and the blade wasn't sharp out of the box had to sharpen it and even then wasn't super sharp I ended up selling it on ebay.
I’ve been told by a few ppl to stay away from Toor. Was told the cs wasn’t good to say the least and different issues with knives themselves. Also the one I hated most was someone was still charged the restock fee when his knife he received had areas where the tan was already worn off when he had just opened it. Beautiful knives in my opinion. But I’ve been told a lot of bad about this company and they are still a new company.

It’s 99% CNC machining. The human literally presses a button for most of the work. Why so much money for it? To each is own.

Why the hell would someone get this? Just get an Extrema Ratio Requiem for 1/3 the price, which has more reach, lighter, easier to conceal and carry, and the handle is better for the cold. LOL. People who use trainer versions of a basic knife are goofy.

$360 with A coupon code. At some point A knife costs too much and you will be hesitant to actually use it. That's why I cycle between a handful of $30 throwaways. If I lose track of one or have to do something with a high chance of damaging the knife I don't care. Throw a machete and A tomahawk/hand ax in the vehicle and forget about them till you need one.
Having had both cheap knives and high quality steel knives, there is a definite benefit to using quality knives. 3v steel will cost this much just about any day of the week. Besides, would you rather have 3 rat knives, or one of these. You can only use one at a time. I see this all the time. People with a ton of cheap shit that never works, and they say, “must be nice to have a custom 1911,” while they have three glocks, and couple rugers and a kel-Tec in their safe worth the same amount of money.

How likely are you to be more than a 45 second run from your car? For me that happens virtually never. Given the people in the comments of this video there is likely a gun and knife already on you and another gun and knife in the vehicle. The reality is 85% of the people who buy this knife are not going to use it as a tool, they are going to grab a "beater" rather than risk it.

As you can see a lot of work, time, materials and R&D goes into making these.

It's all in how it's used. Best knives I've had in "all kinds of environments" for all sorts of "tasks", were simple and not necessarily expensive; rarely over $100.

What the hell is the purpose of having a training blade if it doesn’t even fit in the sheath? Am I missing something here? Drawing the weapon is one of the most crucial parts. Please advise because I just spent money on this blade for the purpose of having a trainer that will fit in the same sheath. The knife btw is amazing. Love it. Just pissed I can’t draw the trainer.
Funny you mention this. I bought a Ronin Tactics Sakura blade with trainer included and actually jacked up my trainer shoving it in the sheath the first time. I was super confused like why does this not fit? It kinda pissed me off too. Not ALL companies do that, but I guess some do. Not sure why though? That being said I Still love the Sakura and these knives look great so haha it is what it is I suppose. But something to think about Toor!

JP Peltonen sissipuukko -> $90-100. There is no better alternative to it. Terävä Jaeger knife is also good and much cheaper but it does not take as much beating as sissipuukko. Still terävä jaeger knife is very good option. Trust finnish steel!
There's are lots of things that don't rust such as vanex, lc200, h1 and ceramic ,you saying everything rust makes me question the integrity of this knife.

Awesome looking knife but the sheath sucks and the blade wasn't sharp out of the box had to sharpen it and even then wasn't super sharp I ended up selling it on ebay.

I’ve been told by a few ppl to stay away from Toor. Was told the cs wasn’t good to say the least and different issues with knives themselves. Also the one I hated most was someone was still charged the restock fee when his knife he received had areas where the tan was already worn off when he had just opened it. Beautiful knives in my opinion. But I’ve been told a lot of bad about this company and they are still a new company.
