Pasha is the man behind the scenes putting up big money purses to get pros to race two strokes in Southern California. He bought 3 KTM 150cc two strokes and told 3 different engine builders to work their magic. Each bike has the same parameters. FMF exhaust, Guts seat cover, Flex handlebars, Dubya wheels, samae gearing ratios, Lectron carbs, Hoosier tires, and more. The only differences are the suspension and engine. It was an all out battle with Varner engines, Twisted Development, and Haseker engines to see who could build the ultimate KTM 150 Two Stroke. We had 5 MXA test riders ride the bikes and did some lap time challenges to settle the score once and for all. We showed you individual bike episodes and now its time to pick a winner.

As a 150 owner (2023 Husky TE150… a little different), it’s awesome to see the potential these smaller cc bikes have on the MX track 🤘
Gawd I love this kid! Josh, what an amazing addition to Motocross Action! I live vicariously through his racing stories, testing results and his great magazine articles that chronicle his racing events, and as always I'm amazed with the results he achieves in these top level events!
he claims to be an extrovert...I say; "Right on Bro! keep it going, loving it".
The Varner build was possibly effected due to suspension setup.
The extra low end performance usually produce better lap times.
Awesome to see 2T content! I was hoping to get more info on the engine internals. If all are using the same carb, VHM head, and exhaust what are the differences each tuner has done to the cylinder , crank etc.? how these mods effected the bikes differently on track. Lap time is not a useful metric ….
Video just turned out to be lots of 2 stroke screaming and very little substance technically….
Awesome video with a great concept but they really all should have had the same suspension if you’re going to rank the motors based on lap times. Either way Pasha is the man and it was rad to see some dudes who know how to ride a 125 mix it up
The suspensions came on the bikes so we stayed with it.
Was hoping to see dyno numbers. Thanks for this exciting series. Pasha is the man!!!
Horsepower is around 44 45 for all 3 bikes.
Bikes are so dope but all I can think from those front plates is, “L7 weenie” from the movie sandlot 😂
Nice that Terry can find the time to work on projects for the magazines.
Meanwhile I’ve been waiting two years to get my motor back. NO PHONE CALLS…NOTHING!!
Great video,I miss hearing a gate full of 2 strokes going wide open
as a 150 sx owner 2020 , great job guys but that's a lot of bling ! even considering to change my mind on the new 250 sx tbi : )
Great video-thanks for that ! BUT you missed to include a STOCK bike to compare these builds against.
All this really shows is deeeeeep pockets. I’ve worked on some of pashas cars before and he is a big spender
Would have been cool if they all had the exact same suspension from the same company as well as letting the engine builders have more room to do what they want. Let them pick what exhaust, what head, what gear ratios they want. Really show what the engine builders are capable of.
Bad assed bikes! They sounded crispy!
Awesome
Should of had lynks in one
I weigh 115kg and I ride a 150 exc cause nothin beats that sound.
Did we get a lap time for a showroom stock motor with same tires, carb, exhaust?
Those are some good sounding 125s. (150) still 125s in my book tho
Most definitely appreciate all the work but its still not apples to apples is it! Either compare 3 different engines with one suspension set up or use one engine to test 3 different suspension set ups. After weeks of waiting we find there's less than a second between the three bikes, almost no mention of rideability and the fastest lap time comes from the bike with the broadest power and the least top-end. Shocker!
It is what it is. What were you expecting?
7 MORE days bruh..
As I appreciate the sound of 2 strokes I want to hear numbers and more about the bikes
All 3 around 44 to 45 horses.
👍👍👍
What year was the twisted development bike
Why did you use the same head?
Also, did you use the same fuel?
The same premix oil brand and type and ratio?
vhm head, piston and crank I imagine
its all the same fuel they mention in in a video on one of the bikes. its race gas of some kind and same premix
@@garrett3234 - most probably VP Racing fuel. MXA doesn't use pump fuel, and in Calif they only have 91 octane, not 93. Too low for racing bikes.
Sanoco mixed with pump….and yamalube…
@@spacejaime they said exactly what it was in a previous vid the guy who owns the ktms doesnt use vp hes sponsored by a fuel company
Bennets War
Yes…
Did the bikes have lectron billetron carbs? Why?
Billitron 38….it’s the best.
@@1X84305 - exactly.
Should have done all the suspension the same if you went so far as to have everything else the same save for the engine
👍✌
9:12 those TORX heads didnt last long.
Too many "bro's" in the industry to have a clear winner. I knew it was going to be pretty much the same all the way around.
Each bike is very deferent from another…one can win on any of three..depends on how you like the bike to hit…Varner/ violent. Twisted is the one you marry. Haeseker/ Rolex…smooth fast reliable..
It's built to the HILT. Built to the tilt? What does that even mean? Built to the point the bike falls off the stand?
Means as far as it can go. Hilt of a sword
In a way it means there is not much more mods you can do to the motor…
@@roostfezza7563 I know that. You know that. But apparently nobody at MXA knows that.
Tilt is when you get too rough with a pinball game and it turns off for a few seconds LoL
Varner builds always sound angry.
And no hp numbers lol
