Oh my! that feint 360 followed by the back side kick is awesome. We often forget that most of the power comes from other parts of the body than from the kicking leg.

That definitely helps me with my kicks, thanks. Now if only some people I know actually controlled the power of their kicks...

I love the feeling of training kicks from light, fluent and precise movement, to raw and powerful. I think one of them is nothing without the other. Some dudes I train with prefer focusing on the latter... I guess it's better for stress release.

You could really tell that the counter back kick knocked the wind out of your opponent.
You mentioned moving the mass efficiently into the target early in the video. I think this is a good thing to point out to students. There is actual science to back up why a proper kick will do more damage then a wild and flailing limb. The arrows were also a good visual for showing where the transfer of energy was actually going.
    Great video as always.
    Team GNT!

Nice! Power is one of the hardest things to develop with any technique, because if you're lacking in one aspect, your whole degree of force will be thrown off. (he mentions all of these in the video :)

Level up, get +hit rating, get +crit rating, and get +haste rating, and your kicks will do more DPS! Nice guide, especially with starting slow and working on the form. I recently read a quote on Michael Jai White's page "if you can't do it slow, you can't do it fast." Great video! (Sorry for the random rambling comment).
