Our Journey! How did we get here?
In the winter of 2019 we moved in to our self built van full time to begin living, working and travelling Canada. We quickly fell in love with chasing our dreams of adventuring off the beaten path, living off grid and being self sustaining. We drove our van thousands of miles through various countries-Canada, USA, Mexico & Guatemala. All of which we documented here on our channel, be sure to check that out! After many years on the open road we found ourselves 15 acres of remote woods on the East Coast of Canada where we are building a homestead and renovating our fully off the grid cabin. We are diving into this chapter of our lives in no experience, we're so happy we can bring you all along as we learn to do it all with our own two hands. Thank you for being here with us for cabin life, van life and all the in between!

Crystal...Jazmyn wants nothing more than you feeling and doing your best, which at this time means stopping the work and getting the help you need. We want nothing but the best for both of you, so please get medical help and follow it through. We love you both, and want to see you succeed, and we have time to wait and enjoy your journey.
Just got home from Shopper's to pick up pain meds and muscle relaxants for my back 😢 so I feel your pain.
Physio for you! You need a tens machine, it honestly helps.
Healing vibes for both you and I ♥️
....be very careful Crystal go easy on yourself..Jazzy..dont push it to hard
Well i chose Pamkin
What gardening course are you using?
Muscle relaxants can be magical.
As an individual with a disability I have an idea how frustrating it can be when you can’t do what you want. Be easy on yourself. Blessed Be.
Yes for sure it can be frustrating but health is always first. 💛💛
Clementine gets my vote. Hope you feel better soon, Crystal, take care and listen to your doctors and therapists.
Thanks for the vote! Feeling so much better every day,.💛🐶
I want to start out by saying I've been following your girls journey from the beginning. And the cabin looks awesome. Jasmine, you're doing a great job. Crystal I hope you feel better as someone has been in the construction field All my life, I know what it feels like to Injure your back. And again I can't Save enough you guys are doing an awesome job
agreed!
You are such an inspiration to others, Jazz. . . if everyone had a partner like you, it would be a perfect world. You have such a great attitude, outstanding work ethic, you’re delightful, down to earth, and don’t hog the spotlight! The ceiling project was huge! Thanks for everything we’ve learned from you along the way!
Hey Sally, Wowzers big kudos from you! Thanks for all your kind words. Happy to have you in our pack. 💛🐶
I Love watching your show!
Clementine gets my vote. The ceiling looks amazing Jazz..❤I hope Crystal is feeling better . Love you guys!
I don't think anyone realizes the intensity of back pain until they've experienced it. So glad you're going to heal and you're going to come bouncing back!
Please name it Clementine! It just makes me smile when I hear it. And Jazmine you did such a great job on the ceilings. And Crystal, I want to say good for you on taking it easy--I know that is anything BUT easy. Thank you both for doing what you do.
I’m thinking pumpkin sounds like a perfect name for the tractor. I have so enjoyed watching you girls build this cabin up and the land around it. You’re definitely an inspiration to women all over the world. As a person with a disability for physical problems it’s nice to see you working through them. Just remember nothing comes easy ever! God bless you both. Have a great week!❤❤❤
I literally relate to every single one of your episodes. I had a back injury after a MVA and it was crazy how it not only affected me physically but mentally too. I remember the frustration and disappointments, when I'd feel like I was starting to heal only to make a weird movement and feel like I was back at square one. I tried everything, including acupuncture even though I'm super scared of needles - I was that desperate for relief. The amount of times I'd say the exact same line as you Crystal "I'm 28 my body shouldn't feel broken". I've been better for a little while now, it took a long time for me and there were moments where I lost faith but it's so important to trust your body and listen to it. I know it's not easy, I've been where you are and I can tell you it will get better! 💓
Crystal, I’ve had back pain for decades. I’ve finally discovered that hanging from a bar (30 seconds at a time) with my hands have helped to elongate my spine (and also strengthened hand grips!). My back has never felt better! Elongate the spine and continue those gentle stretches. Love you guys!
I'm so glad your back situation wasn't too severe. I have been in chronic pain for 17 years due to degenerative disc disease in my spine, among other things, and I wouldn't wish that pain on anyone. Well done on the sole ceiling, Jaz.
I've had chronic back pain in my lower back since my 1st 2 back surgeries in 2002 on L4 & L5 and 2 more surgeries including a fusion in 2006. I also have degenerative disc disease. Some days are worse than others. I'm unable walk far or stand in place for very long. I feel for anyone with chronic pain especially back pain because I can relate! I wouldn't wish this on anyone! 😢😢😢
I can relate. I've got arthritis in my lower back and while it's not excruciating pain the majority of the time (luckily), it is a constant ache. Who knew I'd feel this old at my age?!
Hope you're able to find some relief.
Me too, I can totally relate ❤
@@MrDoodlebug68018 I completely get that. I also have osteoarthritis in both legs and both knees are bone on bone. and I just returned home the day before yesterday from 12 days in the hospital for a major infection in my left foot that cost me my toes. My mobility was bad before. I have no idea what it will be now.
I have the same thing John. It’s awful to live this way but there is nothing they can do, for me anyway. I just keep on keeping on.
CLEMENTINE for sure!!!Hope Crystal feels better ASAP (am sure the weather helps ;) ....also Jazz killed it!🔥💕💕
I admire you two so much! I’ve been watching your videos for over a year and because of you I decided to install my new house’s flooring by myself while my husband worked on other renovations! OMG! I’m so soooore! 😂 but I feel so proud of myself and now I admire you even more because you guys never stop!
Keep going 💪🏻 hope Crystal gets better soon!
Well done!! Installing flooring is a killer on the back and knees but sooooooo satisfying when done. You’ll be able to look at that for years and feel proud of yourself.
I SO understand what both of you are going through! I remember solo projects years ago ... and now I'm disabled. But with about 50 year's experience of back problems, here's what I learned. However long you leave it before you fix it, it'll take twice or three times as long to get better! Being kind to yourself is being kind to your partner!
At 45 and ignored my back problems longer than I should have, I 100% support this message! I have been seeing my Physical Therapist (I’m in the us) 2 times a week for 8 months and I just went to 1 time a week. Probably another 8 months ahead of me. But doing my stretches daily as I’m told to do them is the only reason I have gotten this far! Utilize that beautiful yoga area you worked so hard on! 🙏🏻 for relief soon!
40 years on and i have bad back for that long , [56 years old] . osteopaths and chiropractors are your best friend. get it sorted as soon as possible , or it can be life changing, in so many ways . also think about a back support ..
@@kabukimax1 I totally agree with this. I see my chiropractor 1-2 times a month (unless I need it more) and my PT once a week now! So happy in how far I’ve come. My quality of life is soooo much better since combining these 2!
I have sciatica too, it had me stuck in bed through all of 2016. Do the stretching, go for walks, and take care of yourself. Never assume it's "all better" and don't do things you know will hurt. I wish you a quick recovery and all the best!
Thanks for caring and sharing. Appreciate all your kind words. 💛🐶
Crystal, get a Tenz Machine. You can order it online. It sends small electrical impulses into the muscles and relaxes your back. I have back problems and it really helps.
Crystal, now is a perfect time to count your blessings. Imagine yourself in permanently altered physical condition and then do what it takes to heal . Jasmine, this video is awesome. When you get tired to the point of wanting to quit, but you don’t, that is admirable. It reflects on your character. Something I totally admire about the two of you is your positive, determined attitude. You never have fits of temper and coarse language, no blaming, no criticizing, just regroup and press on. And, you show your respect for each others strengths!
Pain management is worth considering while you recover - anti-imflammatories is what you need. Back pain is so not nice.
You are doing something I used to do when I was younger. Whenever I had a back/neck issue I’d over stretch everything which also tends to exacerbate the pain. You do need to really rest and relax and allow yourself to heal. And go to that next appointment.
Oh ladies, I feel your pain. I have had so many work injuries in my life. I’m currently 63 and work outside doing very physically strenuous projects with two severely torn rotator cuffs and torn cartilage in both knees. The muscle pain throughout my body from it’s trying to compensate for the injuries is almost as daunting as the injuries themselves. I’ve also lived and worked alone for twenty years as of 6/1/2023. Consequently, I feel like I can relate to both of your current individual struggles. Yet, after watching you two overcome, conquer, and move forward with grace, strength, grit, and determination for the last three years or so, I feel confident you both could give me better advice than I could give you. Hang in there! Continue taking care of yourselves and each other, mind, body, and spirit. After all, I seem to recall two very smart young women reminding us to take good care of our equipment a time or two. Of all the equipment you all have, you are the most important. Everything suffers if the equipment that plans and runs all other equipment isn’t cherished and protected.
Feel better! I for one, will be thinking about you, and hoping for the best for you.
I loved when crystal said the hard work is definitely worth it ❤ hope you both have a great rest
wow
you two have so much to be proud of. i'm 63 and from a family of contractors [not me ran first chance i got]. you're doing work that i'm used to seeing a crew and several different sub-contractors do and i can't imagine doing on my own.
i picked up several skills and it kills me to have to hire someone to do the work i used to do but wrecked my back and knees and right foot over the years [not gonna list other physical ailments]. so i understand crystal's frustration at not being able to help you jazmyn and i admire you working thru to help get things done that pleases the woman you love.
i'm slowly catching up on videos and jumping here and there but i hope you've had x-rays crystal and wish you well with your back. don't push it and don't let jazmyn hurt herself either. take your time/slow and steady
best wishes
My vote is for Clementine! I hope Crystal heals up soon. It's such a struggle I bet but listen to your body, you know best!!
Oh damn, Crystal I am SO sorry you're struggling with your back. Just know, you're doing the right thing seeking care and listening to your body to slow down and not continue to hurt it. It is hard and frustrating. But, I know you can heal your body and at the same time support your mental and emotional self while you're doing it. Sending big smiles and hugs to you both! And #1 Pumpkin! #2 Clementine!
Thanks for your kind words. Thanks for voting too.💛🐶
@@Vanwives I'm a couple decades ahead of you and have to live with the impact of old injuries, so I really really do understand. I'd be super happy if you didn't have to experience the same thing. (Also, was gonna message this to Jazmyn, but what the heck: I've been struggling with and judging myself that I haven't been able to make 1/10th the progress you two have with my fixer upper. And Jazmyn, to hear you say how hard it is to do projects and to work solo made me feel better. I'm sorry you're having to tackle stuff without Crystal, but I just want to say thanks for helping me feel better about struggling with staying motivated and making progress when it's always only just me.)
Lovely to see you back on our screens, really feel for you with your back, you really have to try to heal and rest. Don't push yourself to do more, i did that and at 53 my back is terrible. Take care!
Wishing you a speedy recovery Crystal, stay positive and keep the stretching out going. What a trooper you are Jazz, certainly put me to shame on you amazing stamina and persistance through the pain to get the ceiling done. Thoughts and best wishes to you both.
Sending lots of healing vibes. I have been disabled for quite some time. The biggest lesson I have learned is not to push too hard when I feel good. So many things pile up and on the days when I am not well, all I want to do is move. So then when I have a good day, I pile it on and go and go because it feels so good to be able to do it. Then my body screams at me that because I was an idiot, I have to spend days in bed not able to do anything. It is all a balance and learning how to find that balance is difficult. The physical limitations can really test your emotional state, but there is a lesson in there if you allow yourself some grace.
Clementine would be a great name…reminds me of sunshine with a touch of sweetness. The house transformation is amazing. You girls have truly made the place feel like home.
I have so much sympathy for Crystal. I’m going thru similar w/my back and, it’s a very -powerless, out of control and, trapped feeling. Wasn’t safe to even drive for a while; right leg would collapse with no warning, randomly. Couldn’t walk up a step, was falling, and...the PAIN!! For me, because pain was on my right-side, and I kept pushing when I should not have, I ALSO screwed up my left lower-back, because was using & abusing left-side to compensate for weakness and pain on my “right-side”. Am hoping the Physio T. WARNED about this.
Honor your body. At times like this, we realize, having “healthy, balanced bodies”, means everything!! And, some of us need , “pain” to remind us we’re only, human. Health means A LOT!!
FEEL BETTER, CRYSTAL . When I was a child, my aunt, Antoinette always had these little , “sayings”. One was: “ Our Body IS OURr TEMPLE”. She exercised every-day, calisthenics! ...was in better shape than me. She was a tiny little bird, beautiful, but had large hands & feet (size 9 or10!), despite being, 5ft.2” and very petite. She was a “power-house”. Strong mind, strong body, strong “convictions”! I miss her, she was a mother to me, and later on, to my children. She’d lay down her life for them. Came everyday, travelled an hour each way from her home to mine ( via, a very fast paced walk & the bus - no car), to meet my kids at their school and watch them at my house, until I got home from work. She devoted her life to taking care of all of us, when we were children. She worked in a factory for almost 60 years, never married, was completely independent, and gave all she had, in: Time, Attention, Love, Energy & Care to my children and to me, when I was a child.
P.S. She (just like Jazzy!!) was neurotic about brushing her teeth😁, which she kept in mint-condition, until the day she died. Heart failure, late 80’s. We were all shocked and devastated. I’ll be praying for Crystal’s FULL RECOVERY ... in time! Nice look with the “ceiling goop”, EVERYWHERE, 😂🤣🤪 Jaz!!!
Thank you, Gals 🙏💪⚖️🥰☝️❤️🕊🌷🌤☀️🌻🤝🌺🤗🌟⚡️✨💫
Feel better soon Crystal!! Keep pushing through Jazmine you’ll be done soon and then you will be so proud of yourself!!!!!
When you see Chrystal not smiling, you know it’s serious. Take care lady.
I’m in a prone position commiserating with you Crystal 💯!!! Jazz gets to be the hero💪. Sending well wishes for backs and arms , a bountiful garden!!!and old girls enjoying retirement 🐾🐾💛💛💛💛
I know how incapacitating a back pain is, i had one for almost 3 months and had all class of therapy even a neurology checking and strong pain killers, thank God I have been well for 4 months now, heat help me a lot with the pain. Hope you feel well soon and back to the activities you love to do. Ceiling is looking amazing ❤. Good week take care
I love you guys!! Jaz did soooo great and Crystal I hope your back gets better! lots of good vibes are sent your way.
Oh how I feel your pain, Chrystal! 😔 After years of lower back pain, I am still in the process of learning to stop ON TIME and not TOO LATE 😩 My physiotherapist has become my hero 😅 Good luck, take it easy, slow yourself down, you got this! Massive fan of the channel, it's incredible what you two have built together while learning as you go. Keep it up!
I hope you heal up and feel better Crystal! I missed the pack but taking care of health is so much more important! Sending love to all of you!
Thanks for your kind comments. We feel the same too, Health is always number 1. Sending love back.💛🐶
Oh also for tractor name, Pumpkin is adorable
Crystal, I love you! I am so sorry you are going through this. Jazz, you are so precious for the love and support you give. Thanks ladies for another fun episode.❤
As someone who also suffers from back pain I really feel for you Crystal. You should get a support belt and massage gun and ice when you need too. Jaz super job, but don't overdo it either. Stay safe 🇮🇪
You are doing an amazing job Jazzy! Feel better Crystal sending healing prayers for you! Looking forward to next week 💛
Thanks for the vote of confidence, it sure was a tough job, but we love the look. 💛🐶
Listening to Crystal talk about her pain is making me tear up and wishing i could do something to help
We watch all y'alls videos. This one was so relatable with one part of the team with a hurt back and the other part of the team pushing on. Me and my wife have been together since Nov 1 1990 and we both have had these roles on our home building and working. Take care of each other and each other will take care.
Keep on enjoying life to the Max and take care of the physical, mental, and spiritual health.
Thank you love all your beautiful comments. Happy to have you in our pack.💛🐶
I have to say that the first thing I do when my back starts to play up is hit the hot tub. Seriously, the warmth really relaxes the muscles in my back and make things much easier. You have a sauna as well. Check with your practitioner, you may find that using these will aid your recovers. As others have said, recovery is much longer the more you try to do when still not fully fit.
Take it easy. Much easier than you have been. Plan for a minimum of 4 weeks very light work and exercise before slowly ramping up your effort.
As always, check with your practitioner and follow the instructions to the letter.
Don't do what I did. I didn't follow the advice and now, 20 years on, I still have problems.
Get well soon.
Just bought mine. Been looking at them for a while. Glad yall joined with them so i could get mine finally!
I feel you Crystal. Mine goes on me just through general wear and tear and you can never predict it (last week)! Only thing that works for me is heat, stretching, massage, rest. Keeping up the exercises when you feel ok is the challenge!!
I feel your pain Crystal, I have been suffering from back and neck pain for the past 20 years, it really sucks. I wish you a very speedy recovery. The ceiling looks amazing Jazz..❤ Love from P.E.I
I go for pumpkin 🎃, all the best for your back, Crystal! Amazing job with the ceiling, Jazz!!🎉
I feel for you Crystal, my back went out on me at age 17, im now 44 and had to learn how to lift things the correct way to not hurt my back again, so far so good but i remember how painful it was, sometimes i have uncomfortable feelings in my back but nothing like when i bent over to get my books off the floor and i only could stand half way up! Continued prayers and love for you all!! Thank you for sharing!! Remember to take care of yourselves!❤😊
with back pain some one told me years ago its not waiting for the storm too pass its learning how to dance in the rain meaning find what works for you mentally when your back isnt up to par its realy taxing on the mind so mental health is key to dealing with constant pain
That’s a smart saying. I’ll follow it 💛 thank you xx
Clementine! Hope Crystal gets better!!!! And the ceiling looks AMAZING Jaz!
Pronounced "Punkin" gets my vote. I feel ya on the back pain Ive been dealing with an upper rib injury from gardening. So hard to rest when you see the weeds taking over. Trust me when I say REST! Was starting to feel better, spent 1 hr pulling weeds, now back to square 1. Truly frustrating. Ceiling looks amazing!!
Gosh, I feel ya sister! I’m 33 and recently started having lower back pain. I’ve been more conscience with how I pick up heavy things, and trying to get more frequent massages and applying heat/ice does wonders!
Crystal, just take it slow and easy. Rest up as much as possible. If possible, see a chiropractor to help AND get a massage.
If all these continue then get a MRI of the area that’s the issue. This way they can rule out a herniated disc or a fracture.
I only suggest this because I currently suffer from 6 herniated disc, mild separation in my spinal cord near my cervical , a replaced disc with titanium screw. To top it off.... my spine is deteriorating. Then not to mention the amount of arthritis I have in my hips, lower back.
I understand the discomfort and the desire to get up and go do.....
I am thankful that I am muscling myself up every day to go to work, but no mistakes it kicks my back side when I get home.
Jazzy.....great job on getting the ceiling done. Keep it up. Don’t be so rough on yourself.... you’re holding up the fort for two right .
Great job ladies!
Jaz you did an outstanding job with the ceiling. Crystal, take the time to heal properly even if it is frustrating. Your back will love you for it. Please take care of the both of you. I vote for Clementine
Oh, yay! you picked one of my names! Can't wait to see which one you pick! Great work on the ceiling, Jaz! Also, Crystal, I hope you heal soon but take your time. When you resist what you can't control it makes it like swimming up the current. Just float, girl. Wishing you well!!
Crystal, I feel for you. I have had severe osteoarthritis and degeneration since I was a child. I was told by specialists that I would likely end up in a wheelchair by age 30. I'm now 50 and not in a wheelchair....yet. I also get herniated discs, sciatica, been unable to walk at times, and sometimes lose control of my bowel and bladder because of it all. I have suffered significant pain most of my life but still managed to push myself to play netball, compete in athletics, move furniture multiple times, renovate, etc. Sometimes doing simple things has been incredibly painful and difficult but I still did it. Sometimes though I haven't been able to. I really do hope your back gets better. Try all and everything and stay as natural as you possibly can. If possible, strengthen the muscles in your back, get in the water and exercise as it's great for taking the weight off the problem area, lots of good stretches. I also find that if I shut my mind off and stretch, then you can often find your own stretches intuitively to help. Also remember to look into certain vitamins, minerals, etc, TENS machine (or other apparatus), dry needling, massage, and that the pain might also be coming from another area. Get counselling if you need to because it can also affect you mentally.
Jaz, I was really feeling for you too. The tiredness I could see in you, the almost deflated look. The phenomenal task of that celiing and trying to do the right thing by Crystal, by your channel and viewers. Take a rest sweetie. You are important too. Much love and healing to you both 🧡🧡
I feel for you! I’ve been there! My back locked up on both sides. Extremely painful and debilitating. It took a while to settle down. Proper strength exercises has been a savior for me and my back.
I really feel for you with your back issues, my daughter is 27 and has degenerative disc disease and it’s hard when it flares up, keep up with the physio to support your back and don’t over do it as hard and frustrating as that may be ❤️ Also love Beatrice for the tractor name x
Sorry to hear about your back pain Crystal! As someone who also suffers, take your time getting back into the swing of things. As much as it sucks you have to let your back heal so you can then strengthen it.
PS I love Pumpkin
My vote is for Clementine! I hope Crystal is feeling better ❤
As another fan with 43 years of back and connective tissue issues (since I was 25), I've learned (and RElearned) the value of listening when my body says "Stop!" PLEASE... both of you take at the very least 48 hours to do nothing more strenuous than preparing delicious, anti-inflammatory foods. I'm not a doctor, but it sounds to me like you both have a lot of inflammation going on and that takes time to heal. During the first few days while inflammation is high, ICE is essential. Also, Yoga has been my best friend/lifeline on my journey to stay active and able approaching my 70's, along with a healthy lifestyle like you two exemplify! Please remember that taking time off to nurture your bodies now results in projects getting done much sooner than getting sidelined with injuries :-) Love you both!
Sending healing energies to you both, Krystal back and Jazzys arm 💪 ❤️. You both rock. I just love yall and thank you for sharing your life and bringing joy, motivation, and inspiration into mine.
Hope you feel better soon! Jazmyn is doing a great job on the ceiling 👏
I too have had back issues all my life, 2 back surgeries and i am saying you are heading in that direction if and i say again IF you dont take care of yourself. Walking, not on uneven surfaces will help strengthen your back. Nobody told me these things when i was younger. I wish they had of. As an elderly man i wake up every day of my life with back pain and stiffness. Please take care of your bodies. You two both have such sweet spirits and your body is the housing. Just as you are taking care of your physical home so should you take care of your bodies. I love the doggos. Keep stretching. It works
Oh Crystal I feel for ya, I have a 2nd herniated disc in my lower back atm and it’s torture! My 1st one was in my neck 20 years ago and having surgery at 28 wasn’t fun. PLEASE listen and rest after the exercises, you will regret it if you don’t in later life I promise, you take care ❤
Oh and my favourite name is Pumpkin for the tractor !🎃
I missed you two last week, I was worried about you with all the fires going on in Canada. I'm happy you're back and safe, my Sunday morning (it's 6:30ish in Washington) is complete. I hope Crystal feels better soon!
We’re back! Thanks for following our journey.💛🐶
Clementine! lower back injuries are no joke, take care of yourself, Crystal!! The ceiling looks sooo good! ❤️
I have every empathy with you! I slipped a disc in my lower back in April and have only just started being able to walk unaided but still on painkillers. Back’s are extremely complicated and take a lot of time to recover. Frustration will be your new best friend. Some days you will be able to do more than others and you need to come to terms with that.
Take care of yourself and don’t push it too hard. I learnt that the hard way ❤
Great work Jazzy!!! Cheering you on! Play loud music to keep you upbeat!!! Get better quick Krystal! Sending healing vibes!
Thanks Michele, I need all the cheers I can get was a very tedious, tough job. Music is where it is at! Crystal is on the road to recovery. 💛🐶
Jazzy awesome job, and Crystal get plenty of rest. Sending you both love and hugs, until next week. 🥰❤️🥰
Ya’ll are crushing it with your renovations. Sorry Crystal is down. As for the names … Pumpkin or Clementine both get my vote.
This is my last day of my vacation and I could not go far from my apartment due to my back pain. I took a walk the first day off, by the lake and I didnt know if I could even get home. On my vacations I go mototcycle camping. There was no way I felt comfortable going far away, nog knowing if I could physically handle it. Ip until now I was down on myself thinking it was because of my age. By the end of my vacation I was able to start moving again. Work is taking its tole on me. Inremembered I had a TENS unit and it does help me a lot. I am going for another walk by the lake this evening and try to enjoy the outdoors I miss so much. It has been a lonely vacation not getting out there and doing what I love doing. I know how you feel, be grateful for the support you have, try the TENS, it helps me....although it is not a companion...lol
Crystal, you’re speaking to the choir here. Back pain since I was 14. 20 years before I had surgery with tons of PT and stretching in between. 30 years later I still have pain but my main go to is Ibuprofen to alleviate it. Best advice I can give is listen to your back. Back off when necessary and I cannot express this enough, stay hydrated as it helps to keep your muscles fluid.
Thanks for letting us see the sense of frustration and fatigue. So much of what you show us.makes it appear that the work is easy and you whiz through projects, this feels more realistic.
Y'all are just the best!!! LOVE the teamwork and the fact that Jazz is taking on this project on her own!!! TAKE CARE of yourself ma'am!!
Clementine is my vote!!! Crystal, so very sorry that you are in so much pain. Hoping that you get relief and see improvement soon💗 Jazz, you are awesome getting that ceiling done! It does not look easy and can only imagine how much your arms ache😖 Take care of yourself ladies💗
I get it Crystal. I get it.
I have ankylosis spondylitis and back pain is just the worst. I feel your pain girl, stretching definitely helps, anti inflammatory foods and some warm baths. Hope you get to feeling better soon!
As someone who broke both his back and neck over 20x years ago, i feel you with back pain. Once you damage your body to that degree it's a long way back again. Broken vertebrae and ruptured disc's ain't fun so look after yourself as it's the bodies way of saying nah! I follow everything you say and do and love you girls and of course your furry children. You're doing an incredible job and never forget that. From your #1 fan in the uk. X
Get better soon crystal, and your doing an amazing job jazz ❤
Crystal hope your back is feeling better and you can get back to doing your lovely garden and helping Jazmyn do things but don't rush things. Well done Jazmyn you have done so well staying motivated without Crystal there doing awkward and tricky jobs is no fun alone. As for tractor name Pumpkin gets my vote because it has been a life saver in building your garden beds and a pumpkin is something you will I assume be growing in there ❤
Thank you for your kind words debraanne. Yes not easy to stay motivated, that was sure a tough, heavy and time consuming job to do alone. Always easier and more fun with 2 doing anything. Thanks for the vote.💛🐶
A thrown out back is so relatable!! Glad you're healing!
I have been dealing with severe back pain for years. Had surgery 5 years ago. The best thing ever is yoga!! I just look up different channels you UA-cam and do the stretches and moves and it helps me so much!! I’ll be pray for fast healing!!
As a 29 year old who also struggles with lower back pain issues, i feel your pain crystal! its the worst. I hope you're feeling a bit better by now though!!! Another great video
OH, PS. Name the tractor clementine! Such a good name. Thats my vote
So sorry about your back Crystal. Great work there Jaz…hopefully Porter or someone will call and say they are on the way to help.
Lol I was willing for some 1 to call me back, but to no avail. No one wants to do this tough job. 🤩🐶
I'm so sorry about your back, I empathize so much! I lost my job because of my back issues two months ago and am having surgery in a couple weeks. Sending you healing energy!
I received Raycon earbuds for Xmas and LOVE them! I've been nomading for 7 months now with them. My favorite part, other than the long battery life, is that they really stay inside my ears. I don't worry about them falling out while I'm in an airport, on a bus, etc.
Well thank you for sharing with us and our community. 🌞🐶
hope your back feels better soon. great job on the ceiling❤🌹
Thank you for watching.💛🐶
Ahhh so sorry Crystal about your back injury! Time and patience is what it takes to heal. You can do it!..Safety glasses Jazmyn! Protect yourself ! Oh my goodness Jazz, what a mess!
Crystal I'm literally going through the same lower back issues at the moment too. It's so frustrating not being as active as usual. I hope you feel better soon XXX
Crystal I threw my low back out pretty bad a few years ago, keep up with continued stretching and take it easy 😊 it's 100% able to get back to full strength ❤
And I thought I was a messy renovator, my wife would be reminding about a mess like yours for weeks.
The both of you are very inspiring to all of us amateur diy and renovation folk.
Right! Always better and easier with 2!🤩🐶
My vote goes to number 1. Get well soon Crystal and loads of love for the ongoing ceiling girl
I think something that doesn't get mentioned enough is the grief that accompanies injuries. Grieving the loss of mobility that you had, the projects that cannot be done, the loss of ease to do tasks, and the summer you had planned. When injuries are acute it's the time to give ourselves the most grace, but also the hardest.
I'm a sports RMT and athlete, and had a disastrous back injury 6 years ago. I also work with back injuries a lot. It took me personally three years of dedicated back rehab to get back to being able to do everything. They were tough years.
Sending you guys lots of love as you adjust your summer to incorporate back rehab. ♥️♥️♥️
Hi! So sorry to hear about your back pain/ injury.
Crazy thing, you guys popped into my mind this week , and it was to tell you to be careful with your bodies. You are so young, and you are hard working. So use whatever tools/ tractors/ equipment you need to do the heavy things, in all your building/ projects.
You will be grateful when you’re older.
As a hard worker all my life , a back injury several years ago, it is harder when you are older! I sure feel it. So take time to heal and be good to yourselves. I’m glad your Dr is helping Crystal!
It’s hard to rest with all the things you want to do. Sure understandable. Hope you both have a healing week!
Both of you...take care of yourselves. Health is extremely important and without it, you have very little. Great job Jaz! Keep up the good work and enjoy because look at what you have accomplished! 💛💛
Thank you Marilyn. Health is key. Yes we are so happy with the results of the ceiling, looks beautiful. 💛🐶
Hang in there Crystal! Doing an outstanding job on the ceiling y’all…oh and my vote goes to Clementine 😁
Back pain is the absolute worst, Crystal. I’m 37 and have had pain I can trace back to a bungy jump 20 years ago! I’ve tried chiropractors, physio’s and osteopaths - osteo’s are the best for me but I know everyone is different. It definitely gets worse for me after periods of inactivity (which I don’t think is a problem you will have somehow haha). Keeping moving, heat packs and shakti mats work well for me. Wishing you all the best!
Ceilings are so difficult, pals. I'm so impressed with your progress, Jaz.
Crystal, your healing journey showing the pain and frustration is highly relatable content.
Hooray for juicing, again! 😊
Feel better soon Crystal, Clementine gets my vote x
My middle name is Clementine, so it gets my vote. Although having said that, I do like all 3 names 🚜
Feel better soon Crystal ❤️🩹
Hey yah girl friend's 🌿💐🐾🐾
I injured my back in a fall
Ended up tearing my back
That turned into having surgery!
My healing was the worst pain
I've ever had in my life....
So please take care girl friend 💕
So Crystal get a sweat band
That wraps around you by wearing
This" it works as two means
Back support with a hug 🤗💙
And it keeps your vertebrae's
Warm and supported yet you can move and still do yoga 🧘♀️😌
Keep wearing this for several months and more importantly
You need to continue to support your lower back! Avoiding a much more serious problem...
My love to you both and the girls 🐾🐾🥰 stay safe and well 🙏🏼Please
I hope you can get an MRI soon to locate the exact problem with your back. ❤ The ceiling work was amazing.
