I hope the Page Admin / Owner can get the CC option to work, because I often could not hear the clue or answer. The microphone was too short and close to the desk. A.L.'s microphone was on his collar so he can be heard (unfortunately). Both celebs were in show business so they should have known to speak louder when on stage. Some of the "Champions" were not very bright. They must have had easy opponents before. Clue for "Evergreen" could have been --- Conifer, Spruce, Cypress, Pinyon, Scotch, Norway, Hemlock. Ross Martin and Alan Ludden were both wrong about skunk being a "Polecat". The male player was correct a Polecat is of the Weasel family. There are about 6 varieties of Polecats, often a brown , light brown, gray and live in Europe and the U.K.. Skunk is not the same. Skunks are black with white stripe and live in Canada, U.S.A. Mexico, South America. Better clue would have been "Pepe", and "Le Pew".
A.L. let the female celebrity guests cheat big time. It is supposed to be one-word clues, NOT High School Drama class. Very unfair. The man was almost drooling over June Lockhart, yet he was married.
He was an excellent guest murderer on Columbo. His facial expression when Columbo revealed him as the killer was unbelievable. He went from denial to pleasing in seconds. Great bit of acting.
The wigs they wore, June's hairpiece looks like someone dropped a red squirrel on top of her head. So obviously faux but that was the style then. Hope its at the bottom of a landfill by now.
It looked fine. She looked good also. I met her once at a So. Cal. military base which she visited during Operations Just Cause / Iraqi Freedom back in about 2005, and she still looked nice. Her hair was styled nice. I remembered her from the "Lassie" TV series.
Two of my all time favorite actors together playing Password?! It can't get any better than this!
Your right... June Lockhart is adorable
Yes, You're right...
June Lockhart is 95 and still alive!
Just checked , she is still here !! At ninty six years old !! 🐨
She is now 97!
98
Her daughter looks just like her !
Now she's 99! 😊
I was screaming at the screen, "oxygen! Say oxygen!"
I thought the same thing.
Ross Martin was so handsome in this show! 😃
Remember when people were real and celebrities were genuine..?
I love it when a word goes all the way down to zero. Like "SATCHEL."
June Lockhart should have been the first female President of the United States. You missed a treasure, people.
June is so good at this. Had only seen her in Lost in Space before.
She was on Lassie TV show about a boy and his 🐕 dog
Many old people in the audience went though the great depression
"Books" for Satchel.

It really amazes me the sound quality is so good on these original shows whereas the sound on password plus from 79 leaves much to be desired
Where is 1967-05-02??!!...Because the episodes went from 1967-05-01 to 1967-05-03!...So what happened?!
At 8:07 (with those earlier clues banked up) I would've added/said "Legs…"
10:30
I'd be so furious for letting him waste so much time by drawing a blank!!!
EVERGREEN!---Dang!
Rule should be that anybody who gives gestures receives an electric shock.

😂
....Unless I'm upclose and personal, I can barely hear it.
Ross Martin died too young...
He coughs occasionally like a smoker.
He died of a heart attack
@@nandofigueira2005 Right!
Ross Martin died from a heart attack while he was playing tennis 🎾 in 100 degrees weather. He died on July 3, 1981 at the age of 61 years old.

Seemed like so many classy people on tv back then and having a good time competing.
I would have said "unmannerly" for rude
impolite
Discourteous
Isn't that Mark Goodson in the audience at 0:38?
...And the audio needs work on the greater majority of the episodes that I've seen on this channel.
