Love these shows, thank you for uploading. Great to see Jack Cassidy, David was the splitting image of his father, may they both RIP. And poor Nan (2nd female) she was so excited every time she bounced around her head ,her beehive would come apart, guess she didn't use enough Adorn hairspray.
Summer 1967 - Summer of Love...Mamas and Papas...Monterey Pop...Jimi Hendricks returns from Europe and becomes a legend...Diana and Supremes - Smokey and Miracles leading Motown... Beatles Sgt Peppers...The Doors first album....Moody Blues first album...The Graduate (Simon & Garfunkel) top grossing movie...one of the greatest years ever in pop music.
@@Ryan-on5on I've seen old "What's My Line?" episodes with her. She was good at probing the contestants with questions, which no doubt goes to Jack Cassidy's assessment of her as an interviewer. A cocktail party with her would have been quite an experience.

01:45 Rather creepy to have Jack Cassidy describing accidents that he went through. Several years later, he would die in a fire -- his body burned almost beyond recognition.
I'm surprised they don't use words that rhyme more often as the clue. They seem to use that only when every other clue has been exhausted, and even then they don't. For difficult words, I would think it would help alot.
RJ Walker The host Allen Ludden discouraged the use of rhyming words as clues as he thought it might confuse or mislead fellow contestants. He mentions this in a couple of shows I have seen explaining that the rhyming word, though making sense to the contestant giving the clue, could be interpreted at face value as a definition of the word to be guessed. Although, I have on occasion seen a rhyming word used and it has made sense to the contestant and they have guessed correctly.
@@elspethcoogan1499 Interesting, I didn't know he discouraged it. I can see how it could be taken at face value if done early, but lot's of times they get down very late after several clues and everyone knows the general category. All the answers are close. A rhyme at that time would help.
Playboy pornography and so-called work (playgirl) spells HELLfire in eternity! God is never mocked! People fornicate, commit adultery and other kinds of sexual immorality and psych away their minds and hearts as if God cares less. See Proverbs 1:24-32, Galatians 5:19-25, Revelation 20-22. Repent! Repent! Repent!

Jack Cassidy had a great voice!
Well, he was David's daddy.
The lady in glasses looks like Jane curtain's skit from Saturday night live where she plays Lisa's mother, with gilda radner.
That is spot on!!
Lisa Lupner's mom! Perfect.
Big time!!
YES! I came to the comments looking for this. 😎
@@perrybarton Likewise! Jane Curtin’s doppelgänger!!
Arlene Francis was such a nice lady...
Definitely would've been a hoot to attend a cocktail party with her!

Yeah i read that. Horrific death.
Arlene is 60 years old in this episode (she was born in 1907)
Wow!
She aged well...only to suffer from Alzheimers in the end...such a smart classy and beautiful woman.
My mother listened to Arlene Francis' radio program every day!
Her birthday was in October so nearly 60.
Rest In Peace, Jack Cassidy, Allen Ludden, and Arlene Francis. Overdue condolences to the families for your loss. 😔💐💐💐
Thank You for this.
How did she get "usher" out of "attendant"? Great!!
In theaters ushers used to attend to customers and help them get seated...
18:30 wonderful clue!
Wow Jack looks so much like his son David
His son, Ryan, looks like Jack, too.
its strange they had so much trouble with weird.
Jack looks so muck like Shaun! Identical expressions a times and both blonde. Shaun was my idol back in the 70s.
The lady in the dark glasses looks like Jane Curtin from SNL.
Said in an Italian accent, for "Pizza" how about "Pepperoniiiii....."
Arlene Francis and Ross Martin do you have 1967
Elizabeth the Playboy bunny is about 75 right now.
She seemed nice but too much makeup...
@@randysills4418 She was a Playboy bunny!
Her face wasn't exactly the point(s) of attraction.
Jack stood up and said she's a pretty girl. He would be cancelled today for saying that
That poor contestant Ed, he got skunked on both games.
The contestant at 11:16 looks like Jane Curtin
You are so correct !! 🦉
For "Fury" I would've said "1935 movie starring Spencer Tracy & Sylvia Sydney directed by Fritz Lang"
You would have gotten that annoying buzzer
Can only use one word though.
love Jack
He's the MAN!!!
I didn't think either team would solve weird, out of desperation I would have used a sound alike, such as feared 😮

Jack Cassidy (kinda) reminds me of Jude Law... ..
O.o
Cute Playboy bunny!
How classy
Why wouldn't they use a prop knife in the play? And he got injured several times...
Wtf were they thinking with weird?? Terrible
They should have gotten that right off the bat.
Probably overthinking,, over analyzing. Arlene iwas one of the sharpest game players of her time. I expected her to get the answer a bit sooner.
Yeah that was weird.
rockaway2k Arlene was giving the clues not guessing the answer to “Weird”. Still, I’m surprised she didn’t come up with better clues than she did.
They didn't have Yankovic yet.
Ed was the worst ever... zero acumen for the game
